When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 112: March to Tempest

The nation of Tempest was flourishing, but Rimuru Tempest wasn't one to grow complacent. He had seen enough of the world to know that peace could be fleeting, especially with enemies lurking in the shadows.

Tempest had undergone tremendous changes in recent months. Magical orbs, scattered across the country, monitored every person entering or leaving. These orbs, powered by Rimuru's immense magic, served as an advanced surveillance network capable of identifying threats instantly.

Meanwhile, Ramiris, ever the diligent worker (when motivated by snacks or praise), had started constructing a 100-floor labyrinth similar to the one in Celesterra. This labyrinth was meant to serve as both a training ground and a defense mechanism, filled with traps and monsters loyal to Tempest.

Ramiris (proudly): "When this labyrinth is done, no one will dare mess with us! Just wait, Rimuru, it'll be my masterpiece!"

Rimuru (smiling): "I trust you, Ramiris. Just don't slack off too much, okay?"

Ramiris (pouting): "You're so mean, Rimuru! I never slack off... well, maybe a little."

Unknown to the rest of the world, Rimuru had dispatched an intricate network of spies to other countries. These weren't ordinary spies but miniaturized parts of his body—small enough to go undetected by even the most advanced magical senses. Some spies resembled the surveillance orbs, while others took on completely unique forms.

These spies allowed Rimuru to monitor foreign nations and their activities. He never shared this information, even with his closest allies, knowing that secrecy was key to Tempest's survival.

Rimuru (to himself): "I won't let anyone catch us off guard. If they want to scheme, they'll find out Tempest isn't so easily fooled."

In a rare moment of peace, Rimuru and Raphael focused their efforts on reviving Shizu. Her soul had been carefully stabilized over time, and Rimuru had infused her with Fiamma, a powerful Fire Spirit he obtained during his journey. The spirit fused with Shizu perfectly, accepting her as its vessel.

After hours of careful work, Shizu's body was restored, and she now lay peacefully in Rimuru's imaginary space.

Raphael: "Master, her condition is stable. I suggest letting her rest for 24 hours before allowing her to awaken."

Rimuru (relieved): "Thank you, Raphael. I can't believe it… Shizu will finally be able to live again."

He smiled warmly, imagining the reunion they would soon have, but his thoughts were interrupted by an urgent report.

A scout reported that Hinata Sakaguchi and 100 Holy Knights were marching toward Tempest. Rimuru's smile vanished, replaced by a look of disbelief.

Rimuru (shocked): "Hinata? Again? Didn't she learn her lesson last time? And with just 100 knights? Is she serious?"

He remembered how easily he had overpowered her during their last encounter. More importantly, after his battle with Guy Crimson at Walpurgis, Rimuru knew his strength was now far beyond anything Hinata could handle.

Rimuru: "I don't understand. Is she that reckless, or… is someone pulling the strings?"

Rimuru called a meeting with his generals to discuss how to handle the situation. Benimaru, Shion, Zegion, Diablo, and the other key members of Tempest's leadership gathered in the war room.

Rimuru: "Hinata is coming with 100 knights. This isn't a full-scale invasion, but it's clearly hostile. We need to deal with it, but I won't be fighting this time."

Shion (confused): "You're not fighting, Rimuru-sama? Why not? She dared to come back after last time—let me handle her!"

Benimaru (calmly): "Rimuru-sama doesn't need to dirty his hands with this. Besides, it's a good opportunity to showcase the strength of our armies."

Rimuru: "Exactly. Zegion, you'll take on Hinata. The rest of the knights will be split between Shion's and Benimaru's armies. The generals won't step in unless absolutely necessary. This is a chance to show them that Tempest is no joke."

Zegion (bowing): "As you command, my lord. She won't pose a challenge."

Shion (grinning): "My squad will crush those knights before they even realize what hit them."

Benimaru: "Just don't get too reckless, Shion. We're not here to destroy them completely. A decisive victory will be enough to send a message."

The plan was to intercept Hinata and her knights several miles before they could enter Tempest, in a vast open area that would allow Tempest's forces to maneuver easily.

As Hinata and her knights marched toward Tempest, tension filled the air. The Ten Great Saints surrounded her, each one fully armed and ready for battle.

Reihim (concerned): "Commander, are we certain this isn't a trap? Rimuru's power is far beyond anything we've faced before."

Hinata (coldly): "It doesn't matter. I won't allow him to mock us. The Church's honor is at stake."

Hinata carried the Dragon Buster, the blade given to her by Grot and the Seven Luminaries. She felt its immense power, unaware of the sinister control embedded within it.

Ars (disguised as Garde): "With the Dragon Buster, you'll be able to match Rimuru's strength. We cannot fail, Commander."

Though confident on the surface, Hinata couldn't shake the unease growing in her heart. Her instincts screamed that something was wrong, but her pride and determination to restore the Church's honor silenced those doubts.

As the Shion and Benimaru armies prepared for battle, the soldiers were eager to prove themselves.

Shion (to her troops): "Listen up! These knights think they can walk into Tempest and challenge us? Show them what happens when you mess with Rimuru-sama!"

Benimaru (to his troops): "Focus on precision and discipline. We're here to send a message, not to cause unnecessary bloodshed. Remember, the world is watching."

The soldiers cheered, ready to defend their homeland and prove their loyalty to Rimuru.

As Hinata's forces approached the open field where Tempest's armies waited, Rimuru watched from afar, hidden within his surveillance network.

Rimuru (to himself): "Let's see how far this scheme goes… and who's really behind it."

The stage was set for a clash that would reveal the truth behind the Luminaries' schemes and showcase the might of Tempest.
