Heavenly Star Palace

The group of Veldanava had already appeared back at the starting point of creation, with Twilight, Dawn, Guy, Misery, Rain, and Blanc with him.

"Veldanava-sama, welcome back—"

Feldway, who had been anticipating his lord's return, saw him with more people. More so, the identity of the new people with Veldanava.

"Feldway, don't worry about it, these people are my guests."

As Veldanava said that, the already strained expression on Feldway's face tightened further.

At this moment, Guy was slowly beginning to understand who Veldanava was. Piecing his respect for the creator like a puzzle.

"I see now, that explains a lot…"

He now respected Veldanava more than he originally gave the creator credit for.

However, 'why's he looking at us like that?'

The "he" in question was obviously nobody other than Feldway.

It wasn't only Guy who noticed it. The rest of the three also noticed it and donned a frown of their own.

That is to say, the air around the star palace changed so much that Veldanava once again couldn't help but release a sigh.

'When would Feldway…'

"Just put the fries in the bag already, Feldway."

Twilight muttered under his breath, before something along the line of something that felt like déjà vu—something they had experienced before clicked.

For some reason, both Veldanava and Twilight couldn't help but look at Dawn.

And for some reason, as though remembering something, a déjà vu struck the newly awakened demon lord also.

In reminiscence, Dawn once again turned to Feldway with a too-serious expression.

"Don't tell me—"

"Oi, Dawn, wait—!"

Before Veldanava and Twilight could stop Dawn once again, Dawn, with a grin on his face, dashed towards Feldway.

"And here we go again."

The four primordials were, of course, confused by this development. However, from the tired looks on Veldanava's and Twilight's faces…

Scratch it, Twilight's expression is always dead.

But yes.

Dawn, for some reason, just hated the primordial angel's guts. Not that the angel ever did anything to him.

"You shitty angel, hit my left–"

"Think I'd allow you to catch me off guard like before–!? Think again."

Dawn, who was close to blessing the primordial angel with a left hook, was stopped by a force.

A barrier of sorts.

It seems like even Feldway himself had anticipated this upon their reunion.

Though the primordial angel would have loved to never meet any of Valentine's spawn anymore.

"Oh? Tough luck. Were it a few minutes ago, you might have won, but here, take this, Twilight's Law of Magicule Force."

Unique Skill: [Null] was activated.

Dawn's fist, which collided with Feldway's barrier and had been stopped by it, suddenly shattered the barrier.

"What?"

The primordial angel slowly widened his eyes, but again, he couldn't let himself be caught off guard like this again. Hence, Feldway tumbled.

As he did, Dawn's fist missed him by a mile.

"Tch."

As he did that, the other spectators at the end had varying expressions.

For Veldanava and Twilight?

They were used to this behavior from Dawn. They weren't surprised Dawn had attempted this a second time.

If anything, they had now become spectators.

"Was the Law of Magicule Force supposed to work on Feldway's barrier?"

Veldanava asked such a question, turning to Twilight, who stiffly shook his head.

"That was probably a skill. I didn't sense anything of Magicule Force behind that attack."

"As I thought."

As they said that, both Veldanava and Twilight held their foreheads and pinched their noses respectively.

Their attempts to hold him back had only given him another skill.

"And from the looks of it, nullification of skills… and probably magic too."

"Shall we say this is a good thing, after all, it's still a unique skill, right, Twilight?"

"I'd say with your whacky system, that 'Unique' Skill wouldn't remain 'Unique' any time from now on."

They conversed like that as if it were the norm, much to the primordials' surprise.

Especially for Feldway.

As expected, perhaps, he should have really disposed of the False Twilight from the time he had been but a wisp of soul.

If one thinks about it.

Everything that was happening would have eventually been both Twilight's fault.

"Fuu."

But surprisingly, Feldway had gotten up from the ground and didn't push things, which surprised Veldanava, Twilight, and Dawn.

"What? Not retaliating? No fair."

As Dawn said that, the room suddenly went cold as everyone couldn't help but freeze in their tracks momentarily.

"This is..."

Towards the entrance of the room, the cold seemed to be seeping in from there.

Even Feldway had donned a more solemn expression at this moment, ignoring Dawn's existence entirely.

"Oh? Interesting, so there are also beings beyond this level."

Guy muttered, his lips curling up as he turned his head to look at Veldanava before turning his head back.

"Second True Dragon, I reckon. I once came across trails of her magicules over the past years, and from what I know, she'd been existing before I was born."

Twilight, like usual, probably unbothered even by the cold, commented casually.

'Oh? Deceleration. She's freezing even the molecules in the air, huh? Is this a way to show her power or what?'

Instead, Twilight raised his hands to the air of frost, as he clenched his hand feeling the chill on his skin.

Twilight then turned over to Veldanava, who simply looked like a proud father at this moment.

With a turn of his head, he saw the expression on the primordials; it looked like they were ready to fight.

"Oh my~ Looks like I came here at the wrong time."

A smooth, silky voice had said such as immediately as the chill came, it disappeared quickly.

Then, stepping into the room was an immature-looking girl who looked like she was a high school student, with fair skin, blue eyes, and long, white hair tied into twin-tails reaching her waist.

But none of anyone in the room thought of her as immature as she looked.

"Lady Velzard, it's nice to see you again."

Feldway had greeted Velzard respectfully. After all, this woman… was a relative of his creator, so this much respect was warranted.

"Feldway, what a surprise. And… brother, it's good to see you again."

"Velzard! I didn't expect your awakening to be this soon."

Veldanava cheerfully greeted his sibling, and as they exchanged pleasantries, Velzard finally turned to the rest.

"Hehe. With the world getting lively as of late, it wouldn't be strange for me to wake up, no?"

Ah yes~ On that note. The world really did get lively, didn't it? It's no surprise the liveliness had woken up Velzard.

Hence, as she looked around the room, she began analyzing them one by one. However, to her surprise, Guy and surprisingly Twilight were able to hinder her analytic appraisal.

For Guy, he blocked it, but Twilight denied her any attempts to use her ability on him.

Dawn, on the other hand, surprisingly just let her. However, even without doing anything, she wasn't able to analyze him.

She knew she was countered by a skill, but the skill in question, she didn't know.

"Oh? Interesting."

All of them certainly were.

"Well, Velzard, meet Dawn and Guy, the first of their kind, a Demon Lord. The three behind him are, as you know, primordials who have now been incarnated."

"Lastly, my masterpiece, Twilight, over here."

Veldanava was every bit prideful as he introduced each and every one of them.

Velzard smiled politely as she returned the greetings.

"Fufu. It's nice to know you all."

As she said that, the tension that no one had paid attention to suddenly lessened.

More like each and everyone here was strong enough to withstand the tension, though the remaining three primordials were more on the silent side.

Dawn, who had been eager for another clash with Feldway, seemed momentarily distracted by Velzard's sudden appearance.

His expression shifted to intrigue as he studied her carefully.

"So, she's the Second True Dragon, hm?" Dawn muttered, crossing his arms. "Not bad. But I wonder… how would you fare in a fight?"

Velzard raised a brow. Certainly, she didn't expect such audacity.

"Oh my, you're quite bold. Are all of Veldanava's 'creations' this reckless, or are you special?"

Dawn grinned. "I'm one of a kind."

"Dawn, don't."

Veldanava interjected with a sigh, his tone filled with exasperation.

"Velzard is not someone you can just challenge on a whim."

Of course, only someone like Dawn would try to fight a True Dragon. Truly one of his kind.

Dawn groaned but didn't press further. However, Velzard's gaze lingered on him for a moment longer before shifting to Twilight.

"And you…"

Out of the three, he simply denied her the right to appraise him, which was strange.

And certainly, of everyone here, he's probably the oddest. However, he's got some bits of skills, she would admit.

On that note, she would have to admit her brother did gather some rather interesting individuals.

"Demon Lords, primordial demons in incarnated forms, and of course, a masterpiece. It's rare to see so many unique beings gathered in one place."

How could she not awake from her slumber?

Guy, who had been uncharacteristically silent throughout, suddenly spoke up.

"I might have to agree with Dawn there. Fighting you may indeed be worthwhile."

"I know, right?"

Dawn, at the opposite end, said so with a shrug, looking resentfully at Veldanava, who just chuckled it away.

"Hehehe, how intriguing."

"But Guy, I call dibs first. You can go next after I fight her."

"Hah? There's no such thing as first come first serve in a battle. Besides, I let you have a go at the primordial angel, no?"

"That is a different thing entirely."

Sure enough, things were getting more lively with this group. And maybe if it's them, they would be able to...

"Velzard," Veldanava said finally, his voice cutting through the somewhat lively atmosphere.

"If you're here, then perhaps it's fate. There's something I'd like to discuss with you and everyone else present."

Dawn and Guy, who had been bickering, pretty much stopped to turn to the creator.

"What is it, brother?" Velzard asked, tilting her head.

Veldanava's eyes curled downward.

"The world as we know it is about to face a change. A change that none of us can ignore. The change… rather, the dragon…"

World—Destruction—IVARAGE.
