Pupils of the Ancestors.

A group composed of the ancestors of each of the various races created by Twilight Valentine.

First of their kind were the primogenitors of the High-Human races, ADAM and EVE.

Alongside them, following the spirit incarnation project, ancestors of other races had been birthed.

Vampire, Enki, Sirens, High Elves, High Dwarfs, and so on.

Of course, the timeline itself, muddled and fragmented, gave rise to confusion.

For some, the memory of their origins was clouded, causing pieces of history to be overlooked or outright forgotten.

Twilight himself was not immune to mistakes.

Valentin, however, was one of the early Vampires Twilight made.

Of course, that was to say, back then Twilight hadn't thought much of anything and had just blindly pursued Veldanava's goal.

But indeed.

Ruin Valentin was one of the very first vampires Twilight had created with his own hands.

"So, you eventually came, huh? I had expected this meeting between us, but well, well, I had not imagined it would have been today."

Ruin Valentin said so from his throne, condescending as he looked upon Luminous, which only irritated the True Ancestor.

"Give it up already, Father is already tired of your antics. Submit to me now or face retribution."

Luminous had said that, the sides of her lips curling up as her fangs peered out from her lips.

"Heh. Force me!"

As he exclaimed, Ruin stretched his hands as blood-red coalesced in front of him into a small red orb before darting towards Luminous.

However, thanks to [Thought Acceleration], which sped her perception by thousands, she was able to simply sidestep the attack as it landed on a wall, blasting it to bits.

"Is that all?"

"Wha–"

Luminous said before running towards him, with an orb of red coalesced in her hand. She shot her hand forward as it clashed.

BAM!

However, luckily for Valentin, he was able to dodge quickly by jumping away from his throne.

But it was a good move, as the place he sat on was destroyed into bits.

"You dodged that, huh? Impressive."

"Kuh! Dammit!"

Ruin Valentin, who was suspended mid-air, suddenly flew towards Luminous, his hands outstretched.

However, before he could reach her, Luminous outstretched her hands before clenching them tightly.

"You fool!"

He was one inch away from grabbing Luminous, just an inch close to her, and that was it.

Ruin was suspended mid-air; it wasn't like his body wasn't obeying him, rather, something forcibly stopped him mid-air.

"Th-this is…"

Sure enough, by the time he'd look, his body had been impaled by red spikes.

Ruin gasped in disbelief as he stared at the red spikes protruding from his torso.

What's more, the spike seemed to be draining his life force at a significant pace.

"You underestimated me," Luminous said coldly, her tone devoid of mercy.

"Did you really think your pitiful power could stand against the True Ancestor?"

Raising her hand up, she said that, as both of her heterochromic eyes glowed.

"Kuh… Th-this is—"

Ruin gritted his teeth and roared.

"This can't stop me!"

With a surge of energy, his body began to glow with crimson magicules, trying to dislodge the spikes. The room trembled under the force of his rage.

"You haven't won yet, Luminous! I'll show you the strength of an elder vampire!"

Luminous narrowed her eyes, unimpressed. "[Blood Dominion]," she muttered.

The spikes within Ruin twisted violently, eliciting a cry of agony from him as they expanded and tore deeper into his flesh.

Blood streamed from his wounds, but instead of falling to the ground, it flowed upward toward Luminous, coalescing into a swirling sphere above her palm.

Ruin fell to his knees. How could he lose just like that?

He couldn't help but think so. Just what was the gap between them? How, why?

But yes, he couldn't just let this end here. Never would his pride allow this youngster who is but a prototype of him to treat him like this.

"You… you think this will stop me?!"

With a swift motion, Luminous unleashed the sphere of blood back at him.

It exploded upon impact, creating a shockwave that obliterated the remnants of the throne room.

Ruin was flung across the chamber, smashing into the far wall with a sickening crunch.

He struggled to stand, his body battered but still clinging to life. His crimson magicules flickered weakly.

"D-damn you… I'm not done yet—!"

"Oh, you're very much done." Luminous replied, almost nonchalantly, bored even. "Seriously, are all of Father's creations like this?"

"Even now, can't you see that this fight was over the moment it began. How foolish."

She extended her hand toward him, and the blood in the air condensed into countless crimson needles, all aimed directly at him.

"Once again, submit or end your existence right here, right now."

"I… kuh… I submit."

"Hmph. Very well then."

This time, rather than just subduing him using her title, she had decided to do it the way Ruin Valentin understood the most.

Physical force.

Well, not that she completely used physical force, but yes, she still beat him into submission, and that was all that mattered.

"Now then, what is the situation happening over north?"

She wondered, but now, this wasn't the time to think about it. She had more problems to solve here.

It seems that the vampires themselves were struggling to sustain themselves.

Surely, like she had thought, Ruin had simply ignored the humans who they could have preyed on for the Giants.

Luminous didn't know whether to appreciate his bravery or applaud his stupidity.

But certainly, this truly was, in one way or another, a problem for the vampires who need blood to sustain themselves.

And it's not like they can just enter a human empire and start draining blood from the humans.

"Fuu. Perhaps, I should consult my father on this matter."

"Ooh, by father, you mean the Divine Father?"

One of the elder vampires present said so with reverence as they now focused on Luminous.

Most of the elders Ruin had gathered were the ones here currently. More so, reporting the situation and why they hole themselves up here.

Of course, most of the cause was Ruin, however, it wasn't like they could defy him just like that.

And yet, the one person they couldn't defy was manhandled by the Daughter of the Divine Father.

"Ooh, we greet you, our Lord."

Ruin was the only exception amongst them as he was able to see at a glance that Luminous certainly had that striking Divine Semblance in her.

Yet, he still challenged her. One can only applaud him, considering all this.

"Rise. No need for formalities."

Luminous said as the curtains for that moment closed. Not that things were finished with her, rather it was the other way around.

Things were just beginning for the True Ancestor.

However, at this time—

The world which had begun quiet and suddenly grew loud overnight had no choice but to welcome one fuckery to another.

In another location. Covered in blue, frost, and crystal, a place untouched by anything but this colour.

In the midst of this peculiar yet different environment—"Haah. It's been long, hasn't it?"

A blue glistening creature opened its eyes as they glowed yellow.

Their mouth opened as they let out a huff of… satisfaction, as that was what it would seem.

The world, which had been quiet for a long time, became more… lively since they last knew of it.

It's been years since they felt the stir of magicules, especially one this strong.

By the looks of it, beings with about equal amounts of power were gathered within one place, along with someone who this blue glistening creature knew all too well.

"Perhaps this will bring some new form of entertainment for me."

The blue creature—dragon was covered in blinding light as their massive figure reduced into a humanoid appearance.

"Heh…"

Frost Dragon, Velzard had awakened from her millennia of slumber.
