Tensura: The First Reason

Chapter 17: Chapter 17

Meeting Place - Heavenly Star Palace

Where Ivarage came from, we don't know. All we know of him is that he exists.

Certainly, from what Veldanava had said, he hadn't created Ivarage.

Like the current True Dragons alive, this particular Dragon seemed to have just spawned into existence, much like they did.

However, Veldanava had also said its aura and its composition were entirely different from theirs.

It was a Dragon, but not a Dragon like them.

"Furthermore, I speculate Ivarage might originate from a different dimension."

Seated in the room were the strongest the world could currently gather, without mentioning Veldanava himself.

From Twilight to Guy to Dawn, to Feldway and his fellow primordial angels, along with the three primordial demons who stood behind the five.

Of course, Dagruel, Ramiris, and Luminous were absent.

Dagruel and Luminous had other matters to handle in their various territories, so it made sense that they wouldn't be present at this meeting.

As for Ramiris, on the other hand, she was simply excluded.

In fact, even if it hadn't been for the people who had gathered together like this, starting from the ascension of two Demon Lords, this meeting would have never happened.

"So… A dragon, but an entirely new species, huh?"

Twilight spoke up first, his left hand resting on the armrest of the chair he sat on, then, his head rested on that chin.

Making a circle in the air, Twilight then looked at Veldanava.

"One thing comes to mind concerning his origin…"

Twilight then said as he pointed at Veldanava.

"That would be you, my dear creator."

At his words, everybody blinked. And though the primordial angels standing behind couldn't help but frown, none of them spoke up.

Instead, they all uncharacteristically remained obedient at this time.

"Oh? That's certainly intriguing. How did you come to such a conclusion?"

Velzard had a smile that didn't reach her eyes on her face at this moment, and she wasn't alone.

After what Twilight had said, it's only natural they would be curious about what he had to say.

But of course—

"I pride myself on analysis best, so, I'm at least sixty percent sure of my assumption, and with all the intel I have, I dare say my thoughts are correct."

For Twilight, who had studied this world closely for years, it's safe to say he had an incredibly high degree of understanding of this world.

While he could have just asked Veldanava, he had believed that whatever answer he got from the creator wouldn't sit well with him.

It is like asking a game developer to tell you how the foundation of how they make a game operates.

Of course, they are not asking which engine was used to create the game, but the engine used to create the engine of the engine they used to create a game.

As tongue twisting as it was and as it made no sense whatsoever, most likely wouldn't even be able to give an in-depth explanation of such a thing.

Like that, the Omniscient and Omnipotent Veldanava would have created everything perfectly, almost subconsciously, much like asking any random person what one plus one is.

– A fundamental truth of the concept of mathematics.

Like how the world operates, it's but a fundamental truth the Omniscient and Omnipotent God wouldn't have needed to think of it, as he would already know.

With Omniscience, he'd know what concepts this and that is.

With Omnipotence, he'd just spawn it into existence without going on about what concept this and that is.

Even with the current non-omniscient creator that doesn't know everything, he still possesses deeper insight than most concerning the laws of the world.

All these were Twilight's thoughts over the years, and he had come to these conclusions.

It's safe to say, a skill like this had been granted to him upon then.

Extra Skill: [Law Manipulation].

In other words, Dawn was second only to Veldanava in this room.

And despite his mistakes and imperfections over the years, none of them that knew him had underestimated his insight.

Yes. As much as he wouldn't acknowledge it, Feldway had thought so, though he still didn't like it.

"Ivarage, was it…? Could be your significant other."

Twilight had turned his gaze to the starry ceiling of the Star Palace meeting room as he said that, ignoring the gazes around him.

Guy had kept his hands on his chin as he mulled it over.

It was by no means a wrong statement, as the person most of them subconsciously turned to had donned a thoughtful look.

"So? How did you come to that conclusion? What proof do you have that it is as you claim it to be?"

Guy was the first to speak.

A thought had crossed his mind, but he ignored it, turning to Twilight.

Having been asked that question, Twilight let out a small breath as he turned to Guy, pointing over to Guy almost nonchalantly.

"Duality. In other words, you and your fellow primordial existences."

With such a casual tone, Twilight dropped such a thing on them.

Of course, they would eventually reach their own conclusion.

However, hearing someone having already researched this much into them made Guy's lips curl upward, now, looking at Twilight with great interest.

'Oh? That's true, considering we are the exact opposite of the people behind us.'

Yes, exactly what Guy had now thought too.

"I see, I must confess, when I did create the "world," after creating the Angels, the Demons were created alongside them. At that time, I found it extremely intriguing."

Veldanava, now in smiles, had said such, mirroring Twilight, by looking up to the starry ceiling before looking at Twilight, with his expression slightly raised, along with a smile.

"You believe that while I am creation, they are destruction, no?"

Twilight nodded, at the very least, if it had just spawned into existence like Veldanava and the True Dragons did, then, it's most likely, odds up, a Veldanava counterpart.

"Maybe not particularly that."

After a moment, Twilight had slightly disagreed again, prompting Veldanava this time to speak up.

"By that, you mean…"

"Your discarded Godlike powers."

Hearing that, once again, the room descended into silence.

Naturally, there were those who were naturally bored, but were partially listening with one ear.

That is to say, they all had varying emotions.

"Hehe. That Voice of the World, if I'm not wrong, its attribute is omnipresence isn't that right? After all, it's present at all places, aren't I right?"

"Next, Omniscience and Omnipotence were yours, no? If we rule out Omniscience, then that would lead me to think that, while you were always one, by giving Omnipotence up, you had split yourself up."

It was a somewhat roundabout way of Twilight explaining Ivarage's origins.

If anything, it was quite commendable that he had learned so much that he could make inferences like this.

And… Twilight wasn't far off.

"I am inclined to believe you're right, Twilight."

Veldanava had said such with a sheepish smile.

Twilight's interest really lies in another thing entirely. That much he could see.

"How unexpected, this is really an eye opener."

"It's almost weird how you came to such conclusions alone, but I guess I shall commend you for that."

Both Guy and Velzard had said so almost in sync, and of course, the person who had been silent throughout the entire talks finally spoke up.

"So… doesn't that mean the World Destruction guy is coming for Big Boss since he was once one with him?"

What Veldanava had not mentioned, Dawn finally touched upon it.

And the Big Boss in this context was naturally none other than Veldanava.

Of course, by piecing the added information his father had put down, he came to such a conclusion.

In fact, it wasn't even an afterthought to him.

"That… is correct."

Veldanava admitted with a sheepish smile on his face. Again.

"No, no, no, you shouldn't say that with a smile like that."

Twilight was the first to shake his head and had said such to Veldanava.

However, people like Dawn, Guy, Velzard, Feldway and the rest looked almost unbothered.

If anything, they all had smiles on their faces like they were raring for a fight.

That is to say, it's not like Twilight himself was afraid of the World Destruction themselves.

He had a lot of… "tricks" in the bag, and definitely wouldn't lose to the current Guy or Dawn in a fight.

He had that much left, after all.

On that note-

'That weapon has already been completed. I was going to give it to Dawn, but after analyzing his fighting style, it wouldn't fit him.'

'Luminous, however, even if I were to give it to her, I doubt it'd fit her much.'

"It looks like everybody is rather raring for a fight though I'd not advise it."

With such determination on their faces, even knowing when a creature of his strength was approaching, yet these maniacs looked like they were going to interrupt it if anything.

"But I can't make much of this situation yet. If it's really as Twilight as said, then, a battle might really break out."

"If I would, I'd say you don't deprive us of such a chance, no? Big Boss?"

"I never believed I'd have to agree with that guy over there twice in a day, you may have already started rubbing me off."

"Speak for yourself, red."

"Then isn't this also good? Having you and your masterpiece over there to learn more about this counterpart of yours."

Velzard gave such a suggestion.

Naturally, she was more prideful, going as to thinking she wouldn't necessarily lose in a fight with it.

And not to mention, if it's but a fragment of her brother's once great powers, then at least, it should be relative to her brother itself.

If that were the case, then, why not gladly welcome the World Destruction.
