Chapter 486: Xu Feng’s Tank
After rushing to the front, Xu Feng soon caught the attention of the sneaky Warden, who had been trying to target the DPS classes.
"Yeah, I bet you know who's more troublesome, right?" Xu Feng snickered coldly. As a healer, his buff could easily cause numerous headaches to those who wanted to target their teammates.
Thus, in any battle, the healer or supporter must be killed first. Without their hindrance and buffing for the DPS or tanks, they would be easy to kill later on.
Filled with extreme hostility, the sneaky Warden started chasing after Xu Feng, who had promptly escaped the perimeter of the DPS classes and was running outside the formation.
Due to the near proximity between them, Xu Feng's status screen had a new icon appearing, indicating that his mana was now being consistently drained.
Not surprised by the new icon, Xu Feng casually waved at the Warden, almost as if he was greeting them in a friendly manner.
"What's up, little stone." He cheekily exclaimed and continued, "Anyway, I've got to go, so see you later."
Once he was done with his greeting speech, Xu Feng purposely ran toward the side where the trio was nearly trapped at this point.
Alarmed and infuriated by the taunting manner of Xu Feng, the Warden released a guttural roar that echoed through the battlefield.

Soon, the ground trembled slightly under its growing speed. Within the blink of an eye, the Warden dashed forward, its massive and heavy stone feet surprisingly agile, nearly closing the gap between them.
The speed of the Warden was truly something out of the ordinary. Its speed was even greater than the Skyrazor Harbinger.
As the Warden raised its stone arm— shaped like a jagged blade in its new form, seemingly ready to cleave through Xu Feng, the latter reacted swiftly.
Right when the Warden swung its jagged blade arm at him, Xu Feng ducked in time to avoid being cut in half. However, the danger had yet to be over, given the Warden seemed to have anticipated its opponent dodging their attack.
Without missing a beat, its stone leg shifted form, transforming into a deadly Chainsword.
The stone gears on its leg began to rotate at an intense speed, emitting a sharp, grinding noise that cut through the air.
The Warden's eyes gleamed with malicious intent as it prepared for a brutal follow-up strike.
Unfazed by its killing intent and the stone gears coming straight at him, Xu Feng kicked the ground softly and leaped backward, doing a 180-flip.
After the backflip, Xu Feng didn't hesitate to distance himself from the Warden who needed a brief second to regain its balance from the kick.
'The Warden's adaptability is getting too much. I need to end this quickly.' He thought to himself, realizing the severity of the matter.
The team's accuracy was far beneath the requirement he demanded, so the DPS wasn't delivering nearly as much damage as he had hoped.
Although he didn't have much hope either and expected the worst, this was even worse than he had thought.
Due to Iceheart's absence and getting isolated, the team's coordination was starting to show signs of crack. To summarize, the team's performance was extremely lackluster and did not deserve to be called an Elite whatsoever.
While he was keeping his distance, the Warden soon chased after Xu Feng, clearly not giving him a chance to catch his breath.
"Wow, did you really take me for a punching bag?" Amused, Xu Feng snuck a glance at the backline and determined the distance was quite right.
Without the chance of affecting the backline with its Mana Drain Aura, he no longer needed to fight passively and instead, go on an offense.
As the Warden thought Xu Feng only knew how to flee, it was startled briefly when it noticed Xu Feng started to change his trajectory and dashed toward him.
Grinning, the Warden gladly welcomed such an idiocy move as it made a loud, grinding sound, its stone structure changing yet again.
Its massive stone arm morphed into a Gatling gun, while its other arm dug into the ground, sucking in debris, rubble, and broken stones from the battlefield.
The force of the suction caused dust clouds to rise as chunks of rock were pulled into the arm, each piece being compressed and loaded as ammunition.
Within moments, the Warden's newly formed Gatling arm began to spin at a rapid pace, the rotating barrel glowing faintly as the collected debris transformed into jagged bullets.
'Seriously? A Gatling gun?' Alarmed, Xu Feng didn't expect or anticipate that Warden was capable of mimicking such an advanced weapon.
Having severely underestimated the capability of this sneaky Warden, Xu Feng was forced to use Phantom Step to quickly search for cover— mainly the stone walls constructed by these Wardens.
However, the Warden responded with a cold smirk on its stone-like face when spotting Xu Feng running once again. Its eyes locked onto Xu Feng, and then, without hesitation, the Warden unleashed a deadly barrage of rock bullets, each one firing off with terrifying speed and force.
The air whistled with each projectile as the debris bullets tore through the battlefield, all aimed directly at Xu Feng.
"Tsk, how unfortunate." At this moment, Xu Feng realized he could no longer conceal his card and was forced to bring out Flint, the Mini Earthrender.
His speed was not fast enough to get behind the nearby stone walls to block off the fast projectile bullets.
Shortly after Flint emerged from its Pet Space, the first thing it did was cast Stone Shield to protect Xu Feng from the incoming bullets.
Shrouded in a protective shield, the ground around him was riddled with impacts, chunks of earth exploding as the relentless barrage closed in on his position.
But Xu Feng didn't slow down—his focus sharpened, and he weaved through the onslaught, each step approaching closer to the stone walls.
As the shield cast by Flint started to show signs of shattering, Xu Feng finally arrived at the stone wall. He then jumped over it and took cover from behind.
"This isn't something you can just tank. I need an actual TANK and bazooka this cheater to smithereens!" Xu Feng hissed coldly, feeling the difficulty was way too much.
