Tyson's command rang out, and Sylveon immediately let out a melodious sound, sending waves of energy across the battlefield.

Like Swift, Charming Voice is a move that never misses. It struck the oncoming Raticate, who had been charging with Quick Attack, causing it to falter momentarily.

"Now, Sylveon , follow up with Quick Attack!"

At the command, Sylveon dashed forward in a flash of white light, closing the distance in an instant.

Raticate, shaking off the effects of Charming Voice, prepared to retaliate. However, before it could act, a brilliant radiance engulfed Sylveon —it was Dazzling Gleam, a powerful Fairy-type move Sylveon had mastered upon evolving.

The blinding light struck Raticate directly, sending it reeling in pain. Sylveon seized the opportunity and closed the gap even further.

"Sylveon , use Hyper Voice!"

Hyper Voice, a Normal-type move, resonated powerfully as Sylveon released a burst of sound waves. Since Sylveon 's Pixilate ability converted Normal-type moves into Fairy-type moves, the attack packed an extra punch.

The sound waves overwhelmed Raticate, leaving it disoriented and weakened.

"Finish it with Shadow Ball, Sylveon !"

With precision, Sylveon launched a Shadow Ball that collided squarely with its target, ending the battle decisively.

"Well done, Sylveon ! I knew you'd master these moves once you put your mind to it. You're amazing!"

Tyson affectionately stroked Sylveon 's head, showering it with praise. However, Sylveon , clever as ever, wrapped one of its ribbon-like feelers around Tyson's arm, sensing his emotions to check if he was being genuine.

Tyson's praise was heartfelt, and Sylveon , satisfied with the sincerity, basked in the affection.

"Alright, let's move on. We should reach the next town as soon as possible," Tyson said. "Too bad we didn't encounter any Pokémon hunters along the way."

As they continued their journey, Tyson reflected on the information he had obtained from Takenaka, hoping it would lead to another encounter with a Pokémon hunter. However, his optimism began to wane as he realized Pokémon hunters weren't as common as he initially thought.

During his travels, he encountered numerous trainers, but they were all League trainers, not the elusive Pokémon hunters he sought. Disheartened, Tyson dismissed the idea of relying entirely on the information.

Shortly after, Tyson encountered another trainer passing by. His eyes fell on the Tauros the trainer had released, and a memory from Takenaka's intel surfaced. One of the Pokémon hunters mentioned, Kowa, owned a Advanced-level Tauros.

Tyson remained vigilant but refrained from making any rash moves. He didn't want unnecessary trouble.

Kowa, meanwhile, couldn't take his eyes off Sylveon . His curiosity quickly turned to greed, but he masked his intentions with feigned confusion and interest. As Tyson walked by, Kowa appeared harmless, biding his time.

Once Tyson passed, Kowa signaled his Tauros, which immediately charged toward Tyson's Kadabra. Simultaneously, Kowa released Muk and Lickitung to join the ambush.

Confident in his surprise attack, Kowa believed the young trainer would panic under pressure. With Kadabra neutralized, Kowa anticipated capturing Sylveon , Ditto, and Kadabra for himself.

Unfortunately for Kowa, Tyson had already anticipated trouble. The moment Tauros lunged, Kadabra activated Teleport, swapping places with Kowa, forcing Tauros to stop its attack.

"Sylveon , restrain him!" Tyson ordered.

Sylveon swiftly wrapped Kowa in its ribbon-like feelers, knocking him unconscious with a powerful slam.

At the same time, Charizard roared as it emerged, flames engulfing its body. The battlefield erupted into chaos as Charizard faced Tauros, Muk, and Lickitung.

"Charizard, use Flamethrower to trap Muk, then Dragon Rush on Tauros. Finish with a point-blank Flamethrower!" Tyson commanded.

Charizard unleashed a torrent of flames, forcing Muk to retreat. It then took to the air, transforming into a fiery dragon as it launched a devastating Dragon Rush at Tauros.

Under Charizard's relentless assault, Tauros stood no chance. A final Flamethrower rendered it unconscious. Muk, already weakened, quickly followed suit under Charizard's powerful flames.

Meanwhile, Sylveon faced Lickitung, employing tactical precision. With the strategies Tyson had taught it, Sylveon maintained an upper hand throughout the battle.

"Sylveon , finish it with Hyper Voice!"

A burst of concentrated sound waves overwhelmed Lickitung, ending the fight.

With Kowa defeated, Tyson returned his Pokémon to their Poké Balls. He prepared for another round of interrogation, confident that Kowa's intel would yield valuable information about other Pokémon hunters.
