Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 520: Chapter 520: Disaster in the Evil God Cult’s Residence!

In the pitch-black depths of their hideout, a group of cultists gathered around an altar. Their leader, dressed in a black priest's hat, spoke in a raspy voice.

"One of our teams was killed," he said gravely. "The village they targeted is abandoned. Something happened."

"Do we need to relocate?" another cultist asked, glancing nervously at the others.

"Relocate?" a more confident man scoffed. "There's no need. Even if we're discovered, what can they do? If someone comes here, we kill them. A bonus—we'll have fresh, high-quality sacrifices for the Evil God."

His words drew murmurs of agreement from the group. Their leader nodded after a moment. "With our current strength, only the five great ninja villages pose a threat to us, and they're too preoccupied with the Ninja Alliance and their special training programs to deal with us."

The cultists relaxed, reassured by their leader's confidence.

"Boom!"

A sudden explosion rocked the hideout. The cultists scrambled outside, only to find three figures waiting for them in the moonlight. At the forefront stood Reiki, his presence radiating calm confidence.

"Is this the base of the Evil God Cult in the Land of Fire?" Reiki asked, his voice cutting through the tension. "What a dump. A pathetic group hiding in the shadows, calling yourselves a sect? You're nothing but rats."

He stepped forward, a grin spreading across his face. "I'm Reiki, medical ninja of Konoha. I think you could use some treatment."

The cult leader's expression darkened. Recognition flashed across his face. This was no random wanderer. This was Reiki, the disciple of Konoha's famed Tsunade. His name was enough to strike fear into seasoned warriors.

Rumors circulated in the ninja world: encountering Reiki meant you'd be treated—whether you wanted it or not. And his methods weren't gentle.

"This complicates things," the leader muttered, clutching his blood-streaked scythe. "Konoha is aware of us. If this man is here, the village must have sent him to eliminate us."

His gaze shifted to the two smaller figures standing behind Reiki—Chodori and An Ye. Both were young but radiated quiet confidence. To the cultists, they seemed like students accompanying Reiki on a mission.

"There's no way out of this," the leader growled. "We'll fight. A shame to destroy a genius like you, but the Evil God demands it. Please, die here!"

The leader raised his scythe, its blood groove glinting ominously in the dim light.

Reiki tilted his head, seemingly unimpressed. "I came here to help you, but you want to kill me instead. I'll never understand the psychology of you people."

Grinning, he added, "But don't worry. I'm a medical ninja. I'll treat you... thoroughly."

Chodori rolled her eyes, impatient. "Are we fighting or not? Just let me know when to start. These guys don't look like much."

An Ye nodded, his tone dismissive. "Their chakra feels strange—like it's mixed with something impure. Weak."

The cultists bristled at their words. "Arrogant children! You'll learn how cruel the ninja world is!"

"ROOM!" Reiki interrupted, raising his hand. The space around the cultists distorted as he activated the power of the Surgical Fruit.

In a blink, Chodori appeared next to the leader.

"Cruel?" she said, wiping blood from her blade. "Your so-called adult world is nothing but pathetic posturing. You've spent so long in the dark, you've forgotten what real strength looks like."

The cult leader staggered, his arms and legs severed in an instant. He collapsed to the ground but smirked through the pain.

"You think this will stop me? Foolish girl. My body is blessed by the Evil God. I am immortal. My limbs will—"

He froze mid-sentence, realizing his severed limbs weren't regenerating. They lay in front of him, untouched, unsealed, and very much disconnected from his body.

"What... what is this?!" he stammered, panic replacing his arrogance.

Chodori snorted. "I told you to stop talking. You're just wasting chakra on this garbage."

An Ye stepped forward, his tone equally disdainful. "Magic chakra, huh? What a joke. You've wasted it on tricks and theatrics."

One by one, the remaining cultists fell to the ground, their limbs severed with surgical precision. None of them could muster the strength to fight back.

The cult leader's bravado crumbled as he looked at his incapacitated comrades. His proud "immortality" was useless in the face of Reiki's mastery over the Surgical Fruit.

Reiki stepped forward, his smile devoid of warmth. "You seem chatty. Good. That means you'll be able to answer my questions."

The cult leader glared at him, but fear flickered in his eyes. "You don't understand. The Evil God... you can't—"

"I'll figure it out soon enough," Reiki interrupted. "For now, let's focus on your treatment. Don't worry—it'll be thorough."

The remaining cultists squirmed, but their resistance was futile. Reiki's team began extracting information, their clinical precision leaving no room for defiance.

As dawn broke, the Evil God Cult's base lay in ruins, its members defeated and their secrets exposed. Reiki stood amidst the wreckage, his mind already processing the next steps.

"Let's see what this so-called Evil God really is," he muttered, his eyes gleaming with determination.
