Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Shinki was from the Hyuga branch family, a fact known to everyone. Yet, no one dared to bring it up—not even the Hyuga main family themselves.

Now, Shimura Danzo had decided to throw this fact in Shinki's face.

"Sir, he's insulting you," Uchiha Fugaku stated bluntly.

Nara Shikashin almost burst out laughing. Of all times, Fugaku, why are you trying to curry favor now?

Uchiha Fugaku and Nara Shikashin had always sought opportunities to align themselves with Shinki. Both clan leaders clearly wanted to hold onto Shinki's influence as tightly as possible.

Even Hyuga Hiashi couldn't remain silent, though he was visibly unhappy about the situation.

"Hehehe..."

Shinki broke the awkward moment with a chuckle. "Interesting. Shimura Danzo, you're the first person in days who's dared to speak to me like this."

Danzo's face twisted with disdain. "What does it matter if I insult you? No matter how strong you are, no matter what position you hold, you're still a member of the branch family! A lowly branch family scoundrel!"

Having no way to escape, Danzo seized the opportunity to lash out at Shinki.

The insults only grew more venomous. Uchiha Fugaku and Nara Shikashin exchanged uneasy glances but chose to remain silent, not wanting to escalate matters further.

Hyuga Hiashi's expression darkened, his frustration evident.

"Danzo," Shinki said coolly, "I'll give you one chance. Answer this correctly, and I'll spare your life."

Danzo froze, confused. "What is the question?"

"What is the symbol of the branch family?" Shinki asked, his voice devoid of emotion. "Answer correctly, and I'll let you go."

Danzo blinked. The question seemed too simple. Was this a trick?

"How can I trust you?" Danzo asked, suspicious.

Shinki gestured dismissively. "Fine. I'll invite Lord Hokage to act as a witness."

Danzo hesitated. Is this a joke?

Nara Shikashin's eyes widened. "Are you serious? You're going to call the Hokage here for this?"

Ignoring the murmurs, Shinki turned to Uchiha Fugaku. "Fugaku, go fetch Lord Hokage."

"Understood," Fugaku replied, his gaze complicated as he hurried back to the village.

Danzo was even more confused now. This is basic knowledge! Is this a trick? Why go to such lengths?

It didn't take long for the Third Hokage to arrive. Having been briefed by Uchiha Fugaku, he now stood watching the scene unfold with a puzzled expression.

"Shinki," the Third Hokage said, "I assume you're serious about this?"

"Absolutely," Shinki replied without hesitation.

Turning back to Danzo, Shinki repeated, "You still have one last chance. Answer correctly, and I'll let you go. If you answer incorrectly... I'll kill you. Then, I'll turn you into a puppet and display you in front of the Hokage's office for the villagers to curse and vent their anger."

Danzo's face contorted with rage and disbelief. "You'd dare—"

Shinki cut him off. "I've never personally made a puppet from a ninja before, but I'd be willing to make an exception for you."

The Third Hokage's eyelids twitched, and even the others present tried to feign indifference. The room was filled with unspoken tension.

Danzo took a deep breath, regaining his composure. "Fine. If you're so confident, prove it. Do you dare to take off your forehead protector? Let everyone see the caged bird seal!"

Danzo smirked, confident he'd exposed Shinki's true nature.

Shinki raised an eyebrow, then laughed softly. "Is this your confidence?"

Without hesitation, he reached up and removed his forehead protector.

Silence fell over the group.

Danzo's smirk vanished, replaced by utter shock. The Third Hokage, Hyuga Hiashi, Uchiha Fugaku, and Nara Shikashin all stared, their eyes wide with disbelief.

Shinki's forehead was smooth and unmarked.

"Impossible..." Danzo whispered, his voice trembling. "You're not from the branch family? Is this some kind of conspiracy by the Hyuga main family?"

Hyuga Hiashi, visibly flustered, blurted out, "That's not true! Lord Shinki's caged bird seal was placed by the elders of the main family themselves!"

But even Hyuga Hiashi faltered. If the caged bird seal had truly been applied, how could it be gone?

Danzo's mind raced. Was it a bloodline anomaly? No... this has never happened before. The caged bird seal doesn't just disappear!
