Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 64: Chapter 64

When Hiashi Hyuga arrived at the scene, he wasn't just facing four individuals.

"Iruka, Anko… you two?" Hiashi's voice was laced with disbelief. His feet felt heavy, as if he had suddenly aged a decade.

You were kidnapped, and now you're already defecting?

"Because we believe in the ideals of Shin-Konoha, Anko and I have both decided to join. The Will of Fire will live on here," Iruka said confidently, a spark of hope in his eyes.

Hiashi felt a headache coming on. "Then why are you still here, Hanabi?"

His gaze fell on his rebellious daughter, who was tied up but still managed to look defiant.

"Miss Hanabi is being returned to you," Tsunade said curtly, unceremoniously placing the bound girl on the ground. "Please take her and leave."

Ignoring Hanabi's struggles, Naruto and his group retreated. They had no desire to continue the confrontation with Hiashi, whose strength and the Hyuga clan's tenacity were formidable.

Hiashi waited until Naruto and the others were at a safe distance before kneeling to untie Hanabi.

"Are you alright, Hanabi?" Hiashi asked, pulling her into his arms.

"I'm fine," Hanabi huffed. "But I want to go to Shin-Konoha! I want to see Brother Neji, and I want to tie up all those people who dared to bully me!"

Hiashi looked at his daughter, torn between exasperation and affection. "Good girl. I'll tie them all up for you soon."

Then his gaze shifted toward Naruto's retreating figure.

"You heard her. Hanabi wants you all tied up. As her father, it's my duty to fulfill her wishes. Will you surrender quietly, or shall I do it myself?" Hiashi's tone was calm, but the threat was unmistakable.

He added, "Naruto, you're still not quite on your father's level."

Hiashi's dissatisfaction with Konoha ran deep, stemming from years of watching the village's politics unfold. The destruction of the Uchiha clan had been a chilling reminder of Konoha's darker side, and the way they treated the Fourth Hokage's son was nothing short of disgraceful.

Naruto's expression darkened at the mention of his father, but he quickly steeled himself.

"You think you can capture me? Keep dreaming," Naruto said, a Rasengan forming in his hand as he hurled it toward Hiashi.

"Chase them!" Hiashi commanded, and the Hyuga clan sprang into action.

"Shin-Konoha's territory is just ahead," one Hyuga clan member reported as they pursued.

Hiashi paused. The idea of chasing Naruto all the way into Shin-Konoha sent a chill down his spine. If the Hyuga clan pushed too far, it could result in their estrangement from Konoha—possibly even their destruction, like the Uchiha clan.

Shin-Konoha, with its ties to the First Hokage's teacher, Uzumaki Chito, and the Fourth Hokage's son, Naruto Uzumaki, was steeped in legitimacy. Its growing strength made it impossible to dismiss.

"Set up camp here," Hiashi ordered. "We'll rest before making any further decisions."

As his clan began setting up a bonfire, Inuzuka Jaw approached him. "I'll head back to Konoha. The village will need an explanation."

Hiashi nodded. "Be careful on the road."

Jaw smiled knowingly. He could see Hiashi's internal conflict and hoped his departure would ease tensions. The Inuzuka clan had no desire to see the Hyuga clan collapse and had long sought an alliance for mutual survival.

Late into the night, while the Hyuga clan rested, Hiashi slipped out of the camp with Hanabi on his back.

"Are we really leaving like this?" Hanabi asked, yawning.

Hiashi's voice was quiet but firm. "There are people in the camp who can't be trusted. I'll take you to Shin-Konoha myself."

Hanabi blinked sleepily. "Are they rebels, like the ones in Shin-Konoha?"

"No," Hiashi replied. "Shin-Konoha's rebels can still be reasoned with. The ones in our camp have betrayed the family completely and been brainwashed."

Hiashi's voice carried a hint of bitterness as he spoke.

As they approached the boundaries of Shin-Konoha, a powerful presence stirred within the village.

In the heart of Shin-Konoha, Uzumaki Chito opened his eyes, a faint smile on his lips. "It seems a familiar child has arrived."

However, the numerous spies surrounding Shin-Konoha hadn't gone unnoticed. Chito's chakra flared, spreading a majestic and oppressive aura from the village's center.

Outside Shin-Konoha's borders, ninjas who didn't belong to the village felt the crushing pressure. One by one, they collapsed to the ground, unable to resist the overwhelming force.
