Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 65: Chapter 65

Hiashi Hyuga felt the overwhelming, crushing force pressing down on him.

"Byakugan, activate!"

Chakra surged through his body as he resisted the god-like aura. Despite his efforts, it felt as though his bones were about to shatter. The power was immense—far beyond anything he could hope to counter.

For Hanabi, it was the first time seeing Hiashi like this, his Byakugan fully activated and veins bulging around his eyes. The sight was terrifying.

Hiashi's legs sank into the ground under the weight of the oppressive force. If not for his Hyuga physiology and mastery of the Eight Trigrams techniques, which excel at deflecting and absorbing impact, he would likely have been crushed entirely.

Around him, ninjas who had come to spy on Shin-Konoha were flattened to the ground, their bodies prostrate. They had experienced this pressure before and knew the only way to survive was to submit completely.

But this time, none of them would wake up again.

Hiashi struggled to remain upright, his heart pounding as he wondered if this would be his end. He glanced at Hanabi, her small form trembling in his arms. If I die here… what will happen to her? To the Hyuga clan?

Unwillingness burned in his chest. He gritted his teeth, glaring into the oppressive force. He couldn't accept dying like this—helpless and humiliated.

But just as suddenly as the pressure had come, it vanished.

Hiashi, still braced against the force, staggered forward, his body betraying him as he spat a mouthful of blood.

Are the gods toying with me?

Before he could gather himself, a figure appeared before him, stepping gracefully out of a tear in space.

Dressed in flowing white robes, with an ethereal and commanding presence, Uzumaki Chito had arrived. His demeanor was serene, yet his presence was suffused with an undeniable power.

Hanabi's eyes widened in awe. To her, he looked like a celestial being, untethered by the mundane world. Her heart raced as she stared at him. He's so… handsome.

"Hiashi, it's been years," Uzumaki Chito said calmly, taking Hanabi from Hiashi's arms.

Hanabi's face flushed as she processed the situation. He's holding me. He's actually holding me.

Hiashi's voice was strained as he replied, "Thank you for sparing us, Lord Chito. It's just some internal injuries, nothing serious." His words were deferential, the pride of the Hyuga clan subdued in the face of overwhelming power.

Uzumaki Chito smiled faintly. "You've always been a good child, Hiashi, but it seems you've changed." His eyes, though calm, seemed to pierce straight through Hiashi's soul.

Hiashi straightened despite his pain, refusing to appear weak. "Lord Chito, I have not changed. Konoha has always been my home."

"Yet you blame me for disturbing its peace," Chito said, his tone unwavering.

Hiashi's fists clenched. "You did disturb it. Konoha was peaceful until you reappeared. If you hadn't—"

"Peaceful like the Uchiha clan destruction? peaceful like Hizashi sacrificed? Is that the peace you speak of?" Chito's voice turned cold, cutting through Hiashi's protest.

Hiashi's face twisted with suppressed anger. "Hizashi's death ensured peace for the village. It was a sacrifice worth making."

"There is no peace that comes from compromise," Chito replied sharply. "Do you want the same peace you had before? Here's your chance. Challenge me."

Hiashi's body trembled, but not from fear. Chito's words struck a nerve. He wanted to refute them, but deep down, he couldn't.

Chito extended a pale green chakra into Hiashi's body, healing his internal injuries with ease. Hiashi felt his soreness and fatigue vanish, replaced by strength and clarity. The sensation was nothing short of miraculous.

"Your injuries are healed," Chito said. "Now, attack me. This is your only chance."

Hiashi hesitated. The enormity of Chito's power weighed heavily on him. The man standing before him wasn't just a ninja—he was a force of nature.

"What's wrong?" Chito asked, a faint smile curling at the corners of his lips. "Do you lack the courage?"

Hiashi's breath hitched. For years, he had believed Hizashi's sacrifice was necessary for Konoha's peace. But Chito's words planted doubt. Why did we have to compromise? Why wasn't Konoha strong enough to protect everyone without sacrifice?

Chito continued, his voice calm yet piercing. "You believe Hizashi's death was justified. But if Konoha had been strong enough, there would have been no need to look to others for approval. Strength demands respect, Hiashi. Konoha used to command it. What happened to that village?"

Hiashi's Byakugan activated once more. The veins around his eyes bulged as he clenched his fists. He could feel Chito's judgment, and it stung deeply.

"You said this is my only chance," Hiashi said, his voice low but steady. "Then I will give it my all."

Chito's expression didn't change as he watched Hiashi prepare his attack. His calm demeanor only fueled Hiashi's determination.

With a battle cry, Hiashi lunged forward. His fists moved with blinding speed, his Gentle Fist technique aiming to disrupt Chito's chakra network. His strikes were precise and relentless, each one filled with the weight of his pride and frustration
