Naruto: After Seclusion Becoming Naruto Grandfather

Chapter 63: Chapter 63

Shin-Konoha wasn't far now, and Naruto knew the Hyuga family would catch up soon if they lingered.

"Let's wait here for the Hyuga family and give the kid back to them," Naruto decided without hesitation, glancing at Hanabi.

Keeping her around seemed pointless. She was noisy, stubborn, and more trouble than she was worth.

"No! I'm not going back! I want to see Uzumaki Chito!" Hanabi protested loudly, her voice filled with defiance.

Before she could continue, Tsunade knocked her out with a swift strike to the back of her neck.

"She was getting a bit too loud," Tsunade remarked with a sisterly smile, though her tone carried an undeniable edge.

Naruto and the others shuddered slightly. Tsunade really is the scariest one.

Not long after, Iruka and Mitarashi Anko began to stir, finally waking up after their earlier capture. The battle and subsequent running hadn't roused them, but now, for some reason, they were regaining consciousness.

Iruka groaned, holding the back of his head. "What happened? It feels like someone hit me…"

Mitarashi Anko, on the other hand, quickly scanned her surroundings, her instincts sharp from her time as Orochimaru's apprentice. Her eyes immediately locked onto Tsunade, Might Guy, Kakashi, and Naruto.

"Tsunade-sama? Guy? Kakashi? What's going on?" she asked, piecing things together.

The formidable group standing before her left little doubt—she had been kidnapped.

"Don't overthink it, Anko," Tsunade said, her tone calm yet firm. "This has nothing to do with Orochimaru. Shin-Konoha needs ninja teachers for its academy, and you're one of the best candidates. That's why we brought you here."

Anko raised an eyebrow, her confusion giving way to grudging acceptance.

Meanwhile, Iruka's attention was fixed on Naruto. The sight of his former student, now labeled a traitor, stirred a mixture of emotions.

"Are you okay, Naruto?" Iruka asked softly, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Naruto nodded. "I'm fine. My grandpa helped me with my physical issues, so I'm doing much better now."

Iruka smiled faintly, relieved. Naruto had always been special to him, a student he cared deeply about. Seeing him grow, even under these circumstances, was bittersweet.

"That's good to hear," Iruka said warmly.

"Sensei," Naruto began, his tone turning serious, "would you consider coming to Shin-Konoha? We have so many kids who need good teachers—teachers like you."

Naruto's words were earnest. He truly believed Iruka was the kind of teacher who could inspire and care for students equally, regardless of their background.

Iruka hesitated, torn between his love for Konoha and his passion for teaching.

"Naruto…" Iruka's voice grew solemn. "Answer me honestly—are you planning to destroy Konoha?"

Naruto didn't flinch. The question had lingered in his mind countless times, and his answer was clear.

"Where the trees grow again and the leaves fly, there will be a fire burning in the midst of the ruins. Konoha doesn't get destroyed—it gets reborn."

Naruto's eyes burned with conviction as he continued, "Iruka-sensei, you've seen the injustices in Konoha. The children from the big clans are treated well, while the kids from ordinary families struggle for scraps. The death toll is always higher for those without privilege. Is that the kind of Konoha you want to see?"

Iruka remained silent, listening intently.

"Shin-Konoha will be different. We won't withhold education or resources from anyone. Every child will have the same opportunities. That's why we need teachers like you, who treat all students equally. Nothing will change except the place. The spirit of what Konoha should be will stay alive."

Naruto's words struck a chord with Iruka. The inequalities Naruto described were all too familiar—he had lived them himself as an ordinary ninja.

Even Might Guy seemed moved, remembering how his father, Might Duy, had been overlooked and underestimated despite his strength.

Iruka's hesitation gave way to resolve. His once-hollow gaze filled with purpose.

"Alright, Naruto," Iruka said firmly. "I'll help you. I'll come to Shin-Konoha."

Naruto's face lit up with a genuine smile. He had always respected Iruka, and having him as part of Shin-Konoha felt like a victory.

Meanwhile, Anko made her decision even faster. She smirked and said, "Fine, I'll join too—on one condition."

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "And what's that?"

"I want to meet Orochimaru again. There are some things I need to ask him."

Tsunade sighed but nodded. "Fine. Consider it a deal."

Anko's allegiance was secured, albeit with a slight catch. Tsunade didn't mind—it was a small price to pay for such a talented ninja.
