Chapter 46: The After-After-Party
The night after the wedding had been nothing short of chaotic, but as the after-party wound down, it was time for everyone to head home. The lively atmosphere of the event had begun to fade, and with it, the guests slowly trickled out.
Kikidori, still slightly damp from his unintentional swim in the pool, walked alongside Toga as they made their way home. He tried to brush off the lingering wetness of his clothes, but the chill of the evening air made it impossible to ignore.
"Ugh, I'm never going near a pool at a party again," Kikidori muttered, tugging at the damp fabric of his shirt. Toga chuckled beside him, her hands tucked in her jacket pockets.
"Come on, it was kind of funny," she teased, nudging him playfully with her elbow. "At least you didn't drown."
"Yeah, lucky me," Kikidori replied, his tone dry but with a hint of amusement.
When they finally arrived at his apartment, Kikidori wasted no time heading straight for his bathroom to change out of his wet clothes. Toga, meanwhile, hung back for a moment, making herself comfortable in the living room as she glanced around.
As Kikidori changed, he could hear his phone buzzing from the other room. Curious, he walked back into the living room to check it, and the screen flashed with a new set of messages in the group chat.
It was Kirishima and Sero arguing back and forth about something—again. This time, however, the debate was a bit more... personal.
**Kirishima:** "Yo, so what do you guys think? Who should get married first, Kikidori and Toga or Todoroki and Momo?"
**Sero:** "Come on, that's easy. Todoroki and Momo are a power couple, but Kikidori and Toga have been through some wild stuff together. They're basically a match made in chaos."
**Kirishima:** "True, true... but imagine the wedding ceremony. I can already see Todoroki making it all formal and serious. But Kikidori? Dude's probably gonna show up in a hoodie and sneakers!"
Kikidori couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head as he read the messages. Toga, sitting on the couch, raised an eyebrow as she watched him, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
"What's so funny?" she asked, a playful gleam in her eye.
Kikidori chuckled, holding up his phone to show her the messages. "Kirishima and Sero are debating who should get married first: us or Momo and Todoroki. Apparently, they're really into the idea of us getting hitched."
Toga raised an eyebrow and snatched the phone from his hand, scanning through the messages. "That's cute," she said with a teasing smile. "But I think I have a better idea."
Kikidori raised an eyebrow, his gaze flicking between her and the phone. "What do you mean?"
Without warning, Toga leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. "I was thinking... maybe we could play," she said, making a provocative gesture with her hands that left little to the imagination.
Kikidori blinked in surprise, his face flushing slightly as he processed what she meant. "Wait, what? Play?"
Toga smirked, leaning back and crossing her arms, her eyes narrowing playfully. "You know... play." She raised her eyebrows suggestively, and Kikidori could practically see the mischief dancing in her eyes.
For a moment, Kikidori just stared at her, his mind racing as he tried to figure out what was going on. He had a pretty good idea of what she was suggesting, but he wasn't sure if he was quite ready for that level of intensity just yet.
"Uh, I... I think I need a minute," Kikidori stammered, still unsure how to handle Toga's boldness.
Toga giggled, clearly enjoying his reaction. "Take your time, darling," she purred, her tone low and teasing. "I'm not going anywhere."
Kikidori ran a hand through his hair, trying to regain his composure. His heart was racing a little faster than he'd like to admit, and for a moment, he wondered if he'd gotten in over his head with Toga's unpredictable nature.
After a brief pause, Kikidori finally spoke up, a small grin tugging at his lips. "Alright, alright. We'll play... but don't get any ideas."
Toga let out a small laugh, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "I wouldn't dream of it," she replied, her voice dripping with both innocence and mischief.
And just like that, the night shifted into something far more interesting as Kikidori and Toga continued their quiet, playful moments together, leaving the earlier chaos of the party behind.
