My Girlfriend Eloped at the Engagement Party? I Will Kill Her Entire Family

Chapter 11:

Chapter 11:

The powerful voice that resonated through the air disrupted the flow of energy within Qin Yan’s body, leaving him momentarily weak and unsteady. His legs buckled, and he staggered before falling to the ground.

A figure materialized beside him in an instant.

With a simple wave of his hand, Qin Yan was flung backward, crashing to the ground with a painful thud. The impact rattled his entire body, leaving him feeling as though his bones were shattered and his internal organs bruised.

Through blurred vision, Qin Yan looked up at his attacker. It was none other than Wang Chang, the Martial Saint assigned to guard Jingcheng City. This elite protector served as the capital’s last line of defense, ready to respond to foreign threats or border abnormalities. Each Martial Saint took turns serving in this critical role for Daxia.

When the Qin and Yun family warriors saw Qin Yan injured, their eyes turned bloodshot with fury. Roaring like wild beasts, they charged at Wang Chang, unwilling to let this affront go unanswered.

But Wang Chang merely snorted coldly. His aura exploded outward like a hurricane, sending shockwaves through the courtyard.

With a casual wave of his hand, a massive palm materialized and swatted away more than ten warriors. Another wave sent another group sprawling across the ground.

The once-imposing warriors now lay defeated. The Liu family, witnessing this turn of events, erupted into cheers of relief and tears of gratitude. For them, it felt as though they had survived certain doom.

Wang Chang, standing amidst the fallen warriors, turned his gaze to the ongoing battles in the distance. He raised his voice, commanding, “Qin Zhan, Yun Lang, stop at once, or I will cripple Qin Yan!”

A thunderous voice responded with rage. “Wang Chang, how dare you!”

Moments later, Qin Zhan drove Jiang Mingqing back with a slash of his sword and rushed toward Qin Yan, his face dark with anger. Yun Lang joined him soon after, both men exuding an aura of wrath as they approached Wang Chang.

Seeing Qin Yan’s pale and battered state, their fury intensified.

Qin Zhan pointed his sword at Wang Chang, his voice a growl of menace. “If you dare touch my nephew, I will kill you where you stand.”

Wang Chang, unshaken, retorted, “Qin Zhan, you’re already at a disadvantage. Cease your resistance before this escalates further.”

As he spoke, Jiang Mingqing and Gao Wei returned to the scene, their bodies bloodied and battered, their breathing labored.

Despite their injuries, they regrouped behind Wang Chang, forming a united front.

Qin Yan struggled to his feet, his face twisted in pain but his determination unshaken. “Wang Chang,” he spat, “I told you, Gao Wei’s life is mine to take today. No one can stop me.”

Wang Chang’s expression darkened. “Junior, you’re pushing your luck. If you continue, I’ll have no choice but to eliminate you.” His aura flared as a palpable pressure filled the air.

Jiang Mingqing and Gao Wei added their momentum to his, forming a powerful triad of oppressive energy. With Wang Chang holding off Qin Zhan, Jiang Mingqing confident in defeating Yun Lang, and Gao Wei ready to handle the remaining warriors, they seemed to have the upper hand.

But Qin Yan only laughed coldly. “Go ahead, make your move,” he taunted, his voice laced with mockery. Slowly, he raised his right hand, revealing a phone screen.

A video call was active, displaying the face of an elderly man with a commanding presence and piercing eyes that radiated authority.

It was Qin Qi, Qin Yan’s grandfather, and one of Daxia’s three War Gods. This legendary figure stood at the pinnacle of the nation’s martial hierarchy, a man capable of crushing his enemies with a single hand.

Wang Chang’s heart skipped a beat as he recognized the man on the screen.

His imposing aura wavered, and beads of sweat formed on his brow.

Even Jiang Mingqing and Gao Wei felt their knees weaken under the pressure of Qin Qi’s gaze.

Wang Chang forced a strained smile, his tone filled with nervous respect. “Senior Qin, it’s been a while. How have you been?”

Qin Qi’s cold snort sent chills down their spines. “How am I? My grandson has been attacked and nearly crippled. How do you think I feel?”

Wang Chang stammered, “Senior Qin, there’s been a misunderstanding. I only intended to scare Qin Yan, not harm him.”

“Scare him?” Qin Qi’s voice grew colder. “Then how do you explain my grandson’s injuries?”

Desperate, Wang Chang slapped his own face in a show of remorse. “Senior Qin, it’s my fault. I didn’t control my strength properly. Please forgive me!”

Qin Qi’s expression remained as sharp as a blade. The oppressive silence that followed made it clear: forgiveness was far from guaranteed.

Qin Qi snorted coldly and said, “Get out of here.”

Wang Chang nodded hastily, his voice trembling. “Yes, Senior Qin, I’ll leave right away.”

Without daring to argue further, he stepped aside in defeat, his head hanging low.

Turning his sharp gaze to Jiang Mingqing, Qin Qi asked, “Jiang Mingqing, are you choosing the wrong path?”

Jiang Mingqing quickly responded, “No, Senior Qin, I have no such intention. I only wish for this matter to be resolved fairly.”

“Fairly?” Qin Qi’s tone was laced with sarcasm, his anger bubbling beneath the surface. “My grandson’s method of handling things is the fairest. Do you disagree?”

Jiang Mingqing, though nervous, couldn’t suppress his frustration. “Senior Qin, with all due respect, Qin Yan’s actions are not fair at all. He’s acting out of pure emotion.”

“Do you even know what he’s trying to do?” Jiang Mingqing continued, his voice firm. “He plans to wipe out the entire Liu family and kill Vice President Gao Wei. Gao Wei is a half-step Martial Saint. Your Qin family has no right to execute him privately.”

Qin Qi’s voice turned icy, carrying an unmistakable weight. “Oh? So according to you, my Qin family deserves to be humiliated? Our women and children deserve to be trampled on and insulted?”

Jiang Mingqing tried to reason, “Senior Qin, if Qin Yan hadn’t been so insistent on killing people, none of this would have escalated.”

“So, it’s the Qin family’s fault, is it?” Qin Qi’s voice grew thunderous. “Is it my family’s fault that Liu Xinyao and her so-called lover disgraced us at an engagement party meant to celebrate unity?”

Jiang Mingqing sighed, clearly uneasy. “Senior Qin, this is not about fault. It’s a matter of emotions among the younger generation. We elders shouldn’t interfere in such matters.”

“Rubbish!” Qin Qi’s body erupted with streaks of lightning, his fury manifesting in a terrifying display of power. “Jiang Mingqing, your stance is clearly biased. If that’s the case, there’s no point in talking anymore. I’ll handle this myself.”

Taking a few steps forward, Qin Qi raised his voice, commanding, “Qin family army, assemble! We’re returning to the capital immediately. There’s no reason for us to guard this place anymore.”

The weight of his declaration sent shockwaves through everyone present.

Wang Chang rushed forward, his voice panicked. “Senior Qin, no! You can’t make such a decision on your own!”

Jiang Mingqing, desperate, resorted to guilt. “Senior Qin, if you do this, it will leave the hinterlands of Great Xia Nation exposed. Foreign invaders could breach our defenses, causing untold suffering. The Qin family would go down in history as sinners!”

Qin Qi’s eyes burned with rage as he roared, “Sinners? You think my Qin family hasn’t sacrificed enough? Our men shed their blood and gave their lives at the border, yet our women and children are left to be bullied and humiliated without justice. Why should we stand guard here?”

His voice thundered like a storm. “Let me make it clear: if the hinterlands fall and the people suffer, it will be because of cowards like you, not us!”
