My Girlfriend Eloped at the Engagement Party? I Will Kill Her Entire Family

Chapter 10:

Chapter 10: This Is the Consequence of Being a Hero:

Qin Zhan slowly unsheathed the sword at his waist, his face twisted with rage. “You want to defend Gao Wei, don’t you?”

Yun Lang, standing nearby, also drew his weapon with a fierce glare at Jiang Mingqing and Wan Cheng.

The other Qin family warriors, sensing the tension, unsheathed their swords, their gazes sharp and menacing. They stood ready to attack, prepared to tear anyone opposing them into shreds at the slightest command.

Seeing the murderous intent radiating from the Qin family, Jiang Mingqing raised his hands in an attempt to calm the situation. “No, I have no intention of taking sides. I simply want to resolve this matter through legal means.”

He took a deep breath and continued, “If Gao Wei and others are at fault, they should be punished by the law—not by lynching. What you are doing is illegal, Qin Yan, Qin Zhan. It goes against the rule of law.”

Qin Yan stared at Jiang Mingqing coldly, his face devoid of emotion. He saw through Jiang Mingqing’s words. If this were handled legally, Gao Wei, Xiao Fan, and Liu Xinyao would likely walk away unscathed because they technically hadn’t broken any laws.

Moreover, resorting to the law would only bring ridicule to the Qin family. In the circles of powerful families, disputes were never settled legally but through strength and influence.

Qin Yan’s tone grew sharper, laced with authority. “Jiang Mingqing, Wan Cheng, if you leave now, I’ll let this slide and spare you humiliation. If you insist on staying, don’t blame me for trampling your so-called dignity.”

Jiang Mingqing’s face darkened with anger. “Qin Yan, you are still a student at the Capital Martial Arts Academy. Do you realize that Gao Wei is the vice president? Is this how you treat your teacher?”

Qin Yan countered without hesitation, “Does his conduct today make him worthy of being my teacher?”

Jiang Mingqing clenched his fists, his voice tinged with frustration. “Qin Yan, I’ve made myself clear. If you have grievances, file a formal complaint or pursue legal action. But lynching is not the way. You have no right to decide the life and death of others!”

Qin Yan’s expression hardened, and he sneered. “It seems you’ve made your decision to protect them. In that case, there’s nothing more to say.”

He turned to his uncles, his voice calm but commanding. “Second Uncle, Uncle, take action.”

Qin Zhan, who had been holding back his impatience, roared with delight. “Jiang Mingqing, I’m going to kill you!”

His sword gleamed as it moved like a bolt of lightning, aimed directly at Jiang Mingqing. The murderous aura emanating from Qin Zhan was suffocating, as if a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood surrounded him.

Jiang Mingqing’s heart trembled under the overwhelming pressure. In a panic, he swung his sword to block the attack.

But Jiang Mingqing, though a Martial Saint, was no match for Qin Zhan. The collision sent Jiang Mingqing flying like a broken kite, smashing through the Liu family’s walls and landing far outside the manor.

Fortunately, the Liu family’s estate was located far from the main city, preventing unnecessary casualties.

Qin Zhan roared again, charging at Jiang Mingqing. Behind him, a bloody waning moon manifested, exuding an eerie and sinister aura.

Jiang Mingqing struggled to his feet, his face contorted with anger. A glowing figure resembling an immortal, wielding a long sword, appeared behind him, radiating celestial energy.

The two clashed fiercely, their auras illuminating the sky—one blood-red, the other golden. The collision of their powers created a spectacle that seemed like a battle between a demon and a celestial being.

As their fight escalated, they moved farther from the Liu family manor, mindful of the destruction their rage could unleash upon the capital.

Meanwhile, Yun Lang engaged Gao Wei, the only other half-step Martial Saint present. Their duel was just as intense, the two of them exchanging furious blows before moving away to prevent collateral damage.

With both Qin Zhan and Yun Lang gone, Wan Cheng seemed emboldened. He glared at Qin Yan, his tone icy. “Qin Yan, I order you to release everyone here immediately. If you refuse, don’t blame me for taking action!”

Qin Yan watched Wan Cheng’s pitiful state and burst out laughing. “What a fool.”

Wan Cheng, enraged by the mockery, roared, “Boy, how dare you look down on me? Let’s see if I don’t take you down today!” With that, he lunged toward Qin Yan.

Wan Cheng’s plan was simple: capture Qin Yan and use him as leverage to force Qin Zhan and Yun Lang into submission. But as he closed the gap, his foolishness became evident. Qin Yan stood still, unimpressed, a sneer of disdain on his face.

When Wan Cheng was within three meters of Qin Yan, warriors from the Qin and Yun families rushed forward. Their weapons gleamed in the light as they moved with lethal precision. In an instant, two shining sword lights cut through the air. Wan Cheng’s arms were severed cleanly, falling to the ground with sickening thuds.

Wan Cheng let out a blood-curdling scream, collapsing to the ground and writhing in agony.

Seeing their leader injured, the members of the Public Security Department brandished their weapons and moved to retaliate. But Qin Yan’s cold voice cut through the air, stopping them in their tracks. “If you value your lives, stand down. Don’t move.”

The Qin and Yun family warriors stepped forward in unison, their weapons gleaming with menace.

The murderous aura they exuded was suffocating, and the Public Security officers hesitated.

These soldiers, hardened by years on the battlefield, were unlike any opponents they had faced before. Fear overcame the officers, and they retreated a few steps, trembling in silence.

Qin Yan turned his gaze to Xiao Fan and Liu Xinyao, who stood frozen in shock. His voice was icy as he declared, “Liu Xinyao failed to kill Xiao Fan earlier. So now, it’s time to send Mr. Liu Zhong on his way.”

The warriors from the Qin family nodded and approached Liu Zhong to carry out the order.

Liu Zhong, realizing his fate, broke out in a desperate plea. “No! Mr. Qin, please spare me! Xinyao! Xinyao! Beg him! Save me!”

Liu Xinyao crawled on her hands and knees to Qin Yan, clutching his legs as she sobbed uncontrollably. “Qin Yan, I’m begging you! Please don’t kill my father! Please, I’ll do anything!”

Qin Yan coldly kicked her away, sending her sprawling. His voice was devoid of mercy. “I gave you two chances to kill Xiao Fan, and you failed both times. There won’t be a third.”

A Qin family warrior stepped forward, sword raised high.

In one swift, decisive strike, the blade severed Liu Zhong’s neck. His head rolled across the ground, his expression frozen in terror.

“Dad!” Liu Xinyao’s anguished scream tore through the air before she collapsed into unconsciousness.

“Xinyao! Xinyao!” Xiao Fan cried out, struggling to reach her. But before he could move, Qin Yan’s boot came crashing down, pinning his head to the ground.

“Xiao Fan, do you see it now?” Qin Yan sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. “This is the price of playing the hero.”

Blood and tears streaked Xiao Fan’s face as he glared at Qin Yan with unyielding hatred. “Qin Yan, you deserve to die. You truly deserve to die.”

Qin Yan chuckled coldly. “Perhaps I will die someday, but one thing is certain—you’ll die here today.” He raised his foot and aimed for Xiao Fan’s head, intent on crushing it.

At the last second, Xiao Fan’s body surged with adrenaline-fueled desperation. He managed to roll half a foot away, narrowly avoiding the crushing blow.

Boom!

Qin Yan’s foot slammed into the ground, leaving a deep, foot-wide crater. The force alone was enough to send a shiver down the spines of those watching. Had it landed, Xiao Fan’s skull would have been pulverized.

Qin Yan clicked his tongue in annoyance. “Oh? So you managed to dodge. Let’s see how long you can keep this up.”

He pulled his leg free from the crater and prepared to strike again.

Just as he was about to stomp down, a voice rang out, filled with fury.

“Stop!”
