In the next moment, the scene around Jasper suddenly shifted. His body, seemingly intangible, detached itself from Venom's arm.

Venom, now striking an empty space, still delivered a fierce punch at the spot where his fingers had pierced moments earlier. 

"I told you, if you alter reality, I'll change it back again!" 

Boom! 

The punch landed with a force that sparked a whirlwind. 

Jasper's body, now a hundred meters away, was suddenly yanked back to the spot from seconds ago, his face smashed hard by Venom's fist. 

The impact sent Jasper flying.

Before he could react, a series of elastic, unyielding spider webs wrapped tightly around him, pulling him back again.

Venom aimed a devastating strike at Jasper, who was tightly bound by the spider webs and unable to move.

The pitch-black Venom transformed into a pool of molten liquid, melting through the barrier Lorna had created around him, forming a hole to escape through. 

"You fighting him is between the two of you." 

"But I told you, the body I created can last for half an hour, and that's exactly what it will last." 

Zane coldly observed Venom, who had returned to human form, black liquid dripping from his body. 

"And I never said I wouldn't take action." 

"Regret or remorse—save it for the next time you see me..." 

Zane, the Death God of the Omniverse, meant that the next time anyone saw him would naturally be after their death. 

"Die!" 

The moment Venom heard the word "die," as if anticipating it, his entire body of black liquid began swirling into a vortex. 

Suddenly, it reversed its spin, creating a rippling recoil. 

"Kehehe... I knew from the start you wielded the law of death." 

"Do you think I'd be foolish enough to leave myself unguarded?" 

The swirling vortex of Venom's form slowly morphed into a massive black sphere. From its surface emerged a translucent, phantom-like head, smirking at Zane. 

"One word isn't enough..." 

"Then let's make it two," Zane said calmly, without the slightest fluctuation in tone. 

"Die now." 

Boom! 

The black sphere that Venom had condensed into attempted to sprout limbs, but before they could fully form, the body was engulfed by an expanding black mass. 

The sphere grew larger and larger. 

As Venom's features were squeezed away, leaving his face unrecognizable, and his bloated form seemed on the verge of exploding, Zane furrowed his brows. 

Extending a single finger toward the sphere, he said, 

"Wait..." 

"If you die just like this, wouldn't all the effort we've put in so far be wasted?" 

Shua! 

A beam of black light shot from Zane's fingertip, piercing into the expanding sphere of Venom. 

In an instant, Venom's swollen form shrank, reverting to Jasper's body. 

Just as Venom, now back in his normal form, tried to retaliate, a sudden pulling force rendered him completely powerless. He was dragged unresistingly into Zane's hand. 

Zane extended a palm, pressing it against Venom's head. 

Immediately, the black liquid covering Jasper's body surged upward, flowing rapidly into Zane's palm. 

Venom's contorted face twisted further under the immense suction, his disfigured lips uttering a voice filled with disbelief: 

"Why... Why can someone like you, just a mere beginner in the eighth dimension, render me completely powerless?"
