Chapter 681: Long path
"We faced two kraken dragons and thanks to our help, the raging Phoenix killed one and chased another way," Seadir said with a prideful smile on his face. "Maybe we can ask more people to join us. Anyway, as you said, we kept the Artisan path and all of us already got the Adept Crafter path."
"That should help you increase the range of your melodies," Rain said while rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Considering what you have learned, you can pass the knowledge to others."
"Why can't you do that?" Seadir asked. "It will be faster."
"Just the melodies won't be enough to increase our strength as fast as I want, I want to think of other things that we can do to become stronger," Rain explained. "We will get more recruits soon, and increasing their physical abilities like we did with the others might not be the best option. I was thinking that we should train them to offer support to the others. That should be more efficient."
"Do you have any idea how to do that yet?" Seadir asked.
"No," Rain said.
Seadir frowned when he heard that… it seemed that Rain didn't see the potential of the bards as Seadir felt… the buffs offered by twenty sea folk to his strength made him feel awesome, so he Wondered if his father felt the same way.
"All Right, we will split them in groups of five and make them teach others in the other headquarters," Seadir said. "I will keep sending updates about that."
Rain nodded. He had a grand plan in mind, one that involved creating a series of transformative waves within the ranks of the Raging Phoenix. These waves were designed to enhance the group's overall strength through various means. Rain understood that relying solely on the power of Impulse, Limit Breaker, and Magic Boost, while formidable, could only take them so far.
These techniques had allowed him to face dragons that were five hundred years old, a remarkable feat in itself, but he recognized that more power and diverse abilities would be required, both for himself and his trusted followers.
In order to stay ahead of their formidable enemies, Rain knew that he would have to continually seek out new techniques and methods to augment their capabilities. These waves of empowerment would need to be updated regularly, possibly every few months, to ensure that the Raging Phoenix remained at the pinnacle of strength.
Rain was not content with merely surviving; he aimed to thrive and dominate in their pursuit to defend their home and face the challenges that lay ahead.

"....I didn't make much progress since the battle agaisnt the ice dragons, but it isn't like I did much that could make me progress in this path," Rain thought. "I guess I should try to unlock the path that will have magic boost… that one will be me stronger as well."
Considering that, Rain also realized that he should find a way to make his warriors unlock the berserker king path faster. At the very least, the technique will make that path come at level thirty and that will increase their strength by a massive nine hundred Points.
That will be hard, though. First the warriors will have to reach level fifty on the paths of Battle master, Brawler, Fighter, Champion, Martial Artist, and Berserker… that was a journey that took Rain ten years.
"I suppose it will be faster if they keep fighting dragons, but how many of them will survive that?" Rain thought.
The more Rain thought about it, the more he confirmed that following the previous plan of making new recruits follow a support path was the best option. Still, most kids that joined them wanted to join them to become diehard like all the others.
The best option was to make them use skills that would enhance others when fighting as a group, like the ones from the teacher's path, but that will be hard to reach.
Aside from that, Rain could only think that using mages would be the second best option… if they use hundreds of mages to buff hundreds warriors with elemental buffs, shields and even healing, that should improve the strength of the raging Phoenix considerably.
"Asking those in the magic academy to fulfill that role won't do it… we need to recruit those who want to become mages, but not the spoiled types… but this is also a solution for the long run," Rain thought and then rubbed his eyes. "This is becoming quite the pain in the ass."
Rain decided to recruit people that wanted to become mages, and raise them with that goal in mind of becoming focused solely on support, not firing colorful spells or any of that… fully support. As such, he sent the message to Branden and Esmeralda to help with that while he looked for a more quick means to improve the raging Phoenix.
While Rain was thinking about that, he received a message from Brandon the next day.

"Why don't you ask the magic people to help you with that. If they don't have to fight, their lives won't be at risk and their foundation should be there already."
Rain didn't think of that… even though it was such an obvious solution… Rain knew that the magic people working on the production of food had too much time in their hands… their magic skills made them produce food in the last year that was higher than the country produced in five. That was quite something… However…
