Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

"Do you have an antidote?" The 5th Elder Alec asked.

Vera shakes her head in response.

Alec's eyes flash with a firm glint.

"Be ready to protect your mana core. It will be difficult to cure it if mana gets polluted," Alec said.

The poisonous miasma in front of them is a kind of magic. It can pollute the mana of wizards, which can be said to cripple them.

"Follow me," Alec said before entering the forest.

Vera nodded and followed him from behind. Both of them disappeared into the poisonous mist.

They came to the mound where their connection was cut off.

"It's here," Alec said in a grave tone.

Then he saw that the place looked ordinary. There were no signs of fighting traces on the ground. Usually, magic battles leave behind traces of magic spells.

"5th Elder, it reminds me of the 11th Elder's case," Vera uttered in surprise. They were sure that the killer was not the same person.

Because the identity of the killer who could kill the 11th Elder silently was believed to be the Supreme Wizard. Here, two not-so-important elders from the lower hall had gone missing.

"6th Elder, maybe we were all wrong from the beginning."

Inside the Gregor Mansion's control mirror, I stood up from the chair, looking at the two people on the control mirror.

"5th Elder and 6th Elder," I muttered to myself.

The last one I killed was called the 11th Elder. Is there a ranking among their Anderson Family Elders? And it appears they figured out that both incidents were caused by the same person.

"Interesting," my mouth curves into an arc.

Then I sat back in the chair and continued to listen to their conversation. It appears that I can't appear outside for the time being.

The Anderson Family 11th Elder was a troublesome mage. He was able to track me with strange magic, so I had no choice but to take him down.

I don't know the magic of these two people.

Outside,

Cory Anderson arrives at the poisonous forest with her entourage.

"Miss, it's dangerous to come here," a middle-aged maid said to her. Her name is Sally Bones.

"No, I want to find out who is causing problems," Cory Anderson uttered.

Hearing that, the faces of the people following her changed drastically. Apart from the maid, there were five level-8 Wizards following her.

They were all responsible for her protection. The maid is a hidden wizard; her real strength is Level-9. Her responsibility is more than that of a maid; she has to save her from all kinds of assassination attempts.

"Sally, is this the spot?" she asked.

They were standing in front of the place where it had been destroyed by the Wind Magic Spell.

Maid Sally has access to data as well. She finds that two elders had disappeared inside the forest.

"Miss, they have entered the forest," Sally replied.

Cory noticed the poisonous miasma. She knew the dangers of taking weak wizards inside, especially those who don't have exceptional mana control.

She realized the 5th and 6th Elders must have gone inside the forest.

"Sally, come with me. Others stay here," she ordered before going inside.

Sally followed her from behind.

"Sigh."

"The poisonous miasma is dangerous."

"My magic is weak against the poison."

"It's good that she didn't ask us to follow."

"People who have exceptional mana control can deal with the poison."

Those with quick-witted eyes saw the problem. So the five wizards stayed behind. One of them looked at the others before separating from them.

He gave a lame excuse before walking away from the place. After reaching a certain distance, he contacted someone.

"2nd Elder, we came to the poisonous forest. Miss Cory entered the forest with her maid," he reported.

"Good, keep updating me," an old voice sounded from the other end before ending the call.

Then the wizard returned to his team.

Meanwhile,

While the 5th and 6th Elders were using their spells to find clues, the sudden arrival of Cory startled them.

"Miss, what are you doing here?" Vera asked in disbelief.

Even the 5th Elder was nervous.

"Miss, this place is dangerous. You should go back," he said.

Sally ignored them and started to look at the surroundings. She also noticed that there were no signs of a magic fight whatsoever.

"Is it here?" she asked her maid.

"Yes, miss. The signal ended here," Sally said after checking the tracking on the virtual screen.

Tsk!

The 5th Elder Alec's mouth twitches after seeing that the maid has access to the secret data. A wry smile appeared on Vera's face as well.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, once again I stood up from the chair. A bright smile appeared on my face, seeing a familiar person after a long time.

Back in the lawless land, her background from the purple chamber of commerce shocked me. At that time, I thought it was the ceiling of a powerful force.

After coming to the Ancient Redwood Country, my worldview has changed. There are high-level wizards everywhere. You could even find one or two level-9 Wizards if you could see through them.

Now, I'm getting to know the strength of her family. But I didn't expect I would see her in this situation. Right now, her family is the enemy.

The 5th and 6th Elders looked at each other. Then they started to recount their previous experiences because the 11th Elder and the deaths of these two elders' circumstances were the same.
