Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Inside the mansion of the family head,

A middle aged man in his study room is feeling helpless. The person is none other than the Head of the Anderson Family. His name is Tommy Anderson.

The conflict with the True Elements Society has turned ugly. There relationship had soured. But he still thinks that they can avoid the worst case.

As long as the captured wizards will be returned, he can convince Head Howard Mason to sit and talk. Yet the Elders are divided. Most of the elders took united stand against him.

Suddenly, the doop opens. A beautiful lady in blue dress walks inside. She is Cory Anderson daughter of the Anderson Family Head.

"Father, what's going on?"

"Why don't these elders listen to you?"

She stared asking her father right away. She didn't expect her family would offend True Elements Society for spoiled brats.

"Cory, come and sit," Tommy said with a smile.

Cory took the seat and looked at her father. She can see that her father was extremely tired.

Tommy smiled and said,"Two main elders, the1st and 2nd Elder instigating others. I don't know what they are upto?"

"What?"

"Isn't the grandsons of them have caused this problem?" She asked.

"No, it's opposite. Their families are willing to get punished. But for some reason the two main elders are supporting them to fight back," He said in a cold tone.

Cody's eyes flickered. She immediately connected the dots.

"Do they want to use this problem to remove you from the Head position?" She asked.

"It's possible," Tommy uttered.

Not only him, others can see this as well. Otherwise why would agreed to offend True Elements Society.

"Father, what about grandfather and other ancestors?" Cory asked.

Tommy shakes his head and replied,"They have ordered us to not to disturb them for atleast few decades. The two main Elders ave found right opportunity to create problem."

"I can only think of other ways to solve the internal trouble," He added.

"Father, why don't you....," Cory words cut off in mid away.

"I know what you want to say. But it against the family rules. It might not sit well with the Ancestors as well," Tommy said.

Cory sighs.

Knock!

"Family Head!"

"Family Head!"

The sound of butler disturbed their conversation.

Hearing that Tommy allowed him to enter. The old butler walked in.

"Family Head, the two lower hall elders found to be dead," He said.

"What?" Tommy Anderson muttered.

Cory widened her eyes in shock as well. What's going on here? Back to back their elders are dying. Not long ago, someone killed their 11th Elder. Now this?

Butler said,"Their last location found to be ended at eastern poisonous area."

"That remote area," Tommy asked.

Butler nodded his head.

"Send 5th and 6th Elders to the location," He said.

"They have already left their mansion," Butler replied.

"Father, I'm going to take a look as well," Cory asked.

"No," Tommy replied.

"Father, I'm not weak. 5th and 6th elders are there as well. I'll help them ," Cory said with a firm tone.

Sighs!

"Okay, you can go. But take your entourage with you," He said.

Cory agreed. Because her father worries that someone might assassinate her. That's why the entourage for her protection.

Then she left the place. Tommy gave few orders to the butler. He doens't want the enemy to escape. He don't know whether the enemy belongs to the same force as the one who killed 11th Elder.

H doens't think that the same person has committed the crime. Because the wizard who killed 11th Elder believed to be Supreme Wizard.

Now, two lower hall elders were killed. Though lower hall is not important as the main hall. It's still one of the pillars of the family.

Why would level-10 existence go after them? So he thinks the killer is someone else this time. If he didn't find out the identity of the killers. Then the 1st and 2nd Elders might use this opportunity to create more internal problems.

Meanwhile,

The 5th Elder Alec and 6th Elders Vera were rushing to the place. The poisonous area is located at remote area where there is no human activities nearby.

The place is totally contrast to the Kaiden City.

"5th Elder, what do you think?" Vera asked.

Both of them are moving in mid air towards the location.

"I have seen them before. Both of them are friends. They do miscellaneous missions from the lower hall," Alec said.

"So they are not targeted but...," Vera said.

"But they were at wrong place," Alec finished her sentence.

Vera felt chill. 5th Elder quickly figured this out. The two elders from the lower hall are levek-8 Wizards. But they are not that powerful and important people.

It shows that they were in wrong place at wrong time.

Quiet!

She didn't ask further question. Only upon checking the site, they can do something. Last time, both failed to uncover the information about 11th Elder's killer.

She doens't want same thing to happen again.

About 30 minutes later,

They arrived at the poisonous area. It's already nigh time. But for powerful wizards like them. Their vision is clear in night as well. The place has become more cold. A green poisionous must can be seen covering the forest.

It's dangerous for any wizards to enter the place at night. The poisonous mist is combination of poison produced from many plants and insects inside the forest.

Both of them started to track their last movements according to the data last provided by their communication watch.

Shortly afterwards,

They arrived at the spot. Then they both saw sign of conflicts.

"Looks here someone used spell to cut down these trees and plants," Alec said.

"One of them is Wind Mage. He is good at wind spells," Vera said.

"Then it must be him. From the signs, it appears through they have rushed into the forest," Alec uttered.

But his eyes flashes with a struggle. They can't rashly enter the poisonous miasman filled forest.
