Chapter 512: Second Lord Tier
"The Vampire's lair must be somewhere here." Jim said as he felt that this area was a perfect place for the Vampire to hide.
There was no point doubting Shane's words, so they knew they had to be careful.
"Do we have silver weapons? Bullets?" He asked the team.
"I have one… Let's check the market." Drake said as he opened the Marketplace. He immediately searched for silver weapons or even bullets and although he didn't find any Silver Bullets being sold, there were plenty of Silver Daggers, Silver-Tipped Arrows, and some Silver Swords being sold.

"Let's get some Silver Arrows and Daggers…" Jim said as he didn't hesitate to get them for everyone.
Those who were always fighting in the frontlines also bought a Silver Sword in case they needed it.
As for the other sellers of the Silver Items, they were only selling one or two items, so it seemed as if they just found these items elsewhere or perhaps, they were just old or repaired weapons.
They didn't even glance at those unknown sellers with cheap weapons and focused on those bulk sellers. They believed that they had Master Blacksmiths working for them and could be trusted.

On the next day, Jim's team proceeded with their last night's plan and cautiously explored the crumbling train station.
The place had traces of various Zombies coming in and out.
Nonetheless, there were still vines coiled around rusted trains and shattered glass littered the moss-covered platforms. It didn't seem like a human had used this place as a shelter.
"Where are they hiding?" Jim muttered as he couldn't find any signs of other Zombies.
As they ventured deeper into the station, they finally found something and all of them were stunned.
[ Warning: You are about to enter a Lord-Tier Zombie's Territory. Proceed with caution. ]
The notification was enough to freeze them in place but they all smiled as soon as they saw this.
Jim turned to his team and knew what everyone was thinking.
"This is it—a Lord-Tier Zombie's territory. We can't handle this dungeon… But selling the location might be better…"
The group exchanged eager glances, and Lara, the team's scout, suggested the obvious. "Shane's team would be the perfect buyer. I confirmed last night that they're around here. He had already killed one a couple of days ago so he shouldn't have a problem with this."
Everyone saw the World Announcement about Shane's achievement, so they all knew that he was the perfect person to sell this.
Jim nodded. "Lara, send him a message—"
Before he could finish, Lara's Keen Vision spotted movement behind them.
It was a small group that had emerged and they didn't seem too surprised about their presence. Shane was unmistakable, his commanding aura setting him apart.
"There's no need for that, leader," Lara interrupted. "Look behind you."
Jim turned, his hand instinctively held on his weapon. The tension eased as he recognized the newcomers.
It was Shane's team. Lara and the others had seen Shane's battle in the Waiting Zone before and felt a surge of relief. If anyone could handle a Lord-Tier Zombie, it was them.

Shane's eyes scanned the group briefly before he stepped forward. His calm gaze made even the most confident of Jim's team fidget slightly. They had no idea if it was a Survivor Skill but they could tell that being an enemy with this person wasn't good.
Thankfully, Shane had a good reputation, so they should be safe as long as they were reasonable.
Jim offered a polite smile, stepping forward.
"Shane, right? It's good to meet you. I'm Jim, leader of this small squad from Wraith Walker's Clan. We might have an interesting offer for you."
Shane tilted his head slightly, intrigued but cautious. "I'm listening."
The reason Shane approached them was simple, he wanted to just get to know these Survivors who were strong enough to explore this Sector. After all, with his current strength, he was no longer worried that he would get hurt by these people.
He also knew that it was better to have more Survivors based on his experience in past Apocalypses.
Jim, seeing that Shane was quite an approachable person, heaved a sigh of relief.
With this, he gestured toward the dilapidated train station.
"We've just stumbled upon a Lord-Tier Zombie's territory. We're not equipped to handle it ourselves, but instead of raiding it, we'd like to sell you this place… Fair deal, right?"
Shane crossed his arms. He was actually quite amused since he believed that he shouldn't even purchase it. He could just wait for them to leave or perhaps, wait for them to fail to raid it.
However, he also didn't want to have other people entering the Lord Tier Zombie's chamber and cause some trouble.
'Wait… They're from the Wraith Walker's Clan… Travis mentioned that they're a decent Clan with an interesting Clan Leader.' Shane mused. According to Travis, their Clan Leader was planning to create a Clan Alliance to expand their trade of food and various resources.
They seem to have access to a large arable land and could sell plenty of crops in the Marketplace.
After some hesitation, Shane decided to help these people.
"And what's your price?" He asked. As long as they weren't being delusional, he wouldn't mind giving them something to leave this Lord-Tier Territory to them.
"Zombie Cores," Jim said without hesitation. "And maybe a few Item Upgrade Crystals, if you have any to spare. In return, we'll promise not to touch this place or interfere with your raid."
Nia, standing beside Shane, arched a brow. "Sounds fair. But how can we trust you to keep your word?"
Shane smiled as he heard his companion.
Jim raised his hands defensively. "We're not stupid enough to cross someone like you. This place is more valuable to you than it is to us. We just want to walk away with something for finding it first."
Shane nodded thoughtfully. "Alright, deal. How many Cores are we talking about?"
Jim and Shane negotiated briefly, finally settling on a reasonable amount of Zombie Cores and Item Upgrade Crystals.
Shane handed over the payment without hesitation. Well, they are already happy with 300 Zombies Cores and 50 Item Upgrade Crystals, so Shane just gave it to them. However, he didn't want this transaction to be known by others.
Of course, Jim agreed to this since he also didn't want others that they were actually there.
"Pleasure doing business with you," Shane said.
Jim smiled, visibly relieved. "Likewise. We'll clear out now and leave the station to you. Good luck in there."
As Jim's team packed up and prepared to leave, Shane's group began setting up for their raid.
Before departing, Lara couldn't resist a parting comment.
"Shane," she called out, "I watched your battle in the Waiting Zone. I know you can do it! Good luck with this one."
Shane gave her a slight nod in acknowledgment. He didn't expect to get a fan after that Zombie Challenge Event.
As Jim's team disappeared into the dense foliage, Shane turned to his group. "Let's get ready. Let's take down our second Lord-Tier Zombie. This time, let's all work together."
Lysandra and the others got excited. They also wanted to fight a Lord Tier Zombie, so they certainly felt happy since they would finally be included in the Lord Chamber's fight later on.
With that, the group began their preparations, unaware that their actions were already being discussed in the Regional Chat.
