Bai Zhongqi arrived at the conference center, preparing for the meeting's content. His visit to Europe this time was not solely about combat-related matters. Before Earth can unite as one to confront the Teizene civilization, it must first achieve a stable state like that of most interstellar civilizations.

As the home planet, there can no longer be internal strife here. In fact, Bai Zhongqi's move to abolish military autonomy had made wars between nations impossible, as they could no longer command troops to invade or engage in border conflicts. Conflicts had to be resolved through means other than military force.

After the Star Alliance implemented a series of unification policies, differences on some issues would gradually diminish, decreasing the chances of disputes between nations and the flashpoints of conflicts.

In the conference center, when Bai Zhongqi appeared, representatives from all nations stood up.

Tobias, the representative from the Lighthouse Country who had attended the meeting on Spratly Island, was also present. Watching the flashbulbs and the gaze of people following the Iridium Star Chancellor, he felt a great envy. Politicians all liked to stand under the spotlight, basking in the attention it brought them.

Tobias roughly understood why President Camason had said that Bai Zhongqi, who appeared very young, had actually become the Chancellor of Earth.

However, not everyone regarded Bai Zhongqi with awe or admiration; the representative from the United Kingdom sneered and whispered, "Hitler behaved in the same way back in the day; I suppose this Chancellor would also like us to salute him as one does to a Chancellor."

Bai Zhongqi was indifferent to what all the representatives thought of him. He walked from the main entrance of the hall to the center of the stage, receiving applause and respect from all the representatives.

Xu Lanzhou was quite satisfied with this scene; she believed this was the treatment a Chancellor deserved to receive.

After signaling for everyone to take their seats, Bai Zhongqi wasted no time and went straight to the point, saying, "Troops from 17 countries were officially formed into the first combat unit of the Earth Defense Force yesterday at the Earth Defense Force training camp on Spratly Island. Like all of you here, I am delighted that, faced with a ferocious common enemy, Earth's general trend is towards union and unification. I know there have been different opinions, condemnations, or protests. But we all understand what is needed to overcome the difficulties and how our Earth civilization can achieve more brilliant success, standing tall in the Galaxy, continuously growing and providing a better future for our descendants."

He was still dressed in his signature white Chancellor uniform, with a golden sash hanging on the outer coat, his handsome face outlined and devoid of any smile, only a firm and decisive mood that inspired genuine conviction.

Bai Zhongqi kept talking about his own topics, while in the front row, Chancellor Assistant Zero whispered to Xu Lanzhou, "Isn't the Chancellor very handsome?"

Xu Lanzhou, fully focused, heard Zero's question and replied without guard, "Yes..."

A second later, Xu Lanzhou realized what she had said and her face immediately turned red.

On the platform, Bai Zhongqi's speech continued, "... To fully confront our great enemy, we must set aside internal disputes on Earth. All armed conflicts must be contained. Regions that have been poorly managed for a long time will also receive support and governance from the Star Alliance. Currently, the only ongoing large-scale military conflicts on Earth are the counter-terrorism war and sectarian clashes in the Middle East. With the Brain Worm forces eliminated, the newly appointed westerners could only grudgingly acknowledge the new Syrian government. Now that he had gradually established a unified global market, completely removing national barriers and allowing goods and services to flow freely, along with the control over pricing and other regulations being in the hands of the Star Alliance Development and Planning Commission, he wasn't worried about significant disruptions.

The economies and trade of various countries would inevitably go through major adjustments, but once that was complete, the Star Alliance would become a single, large-scale global economy.
