"A love scam—" Mika's eye twitched slightly as he observed the scene from the overpass. As expected of a Fallen Angel, playing dirty. Issei likely had no idea that the girl's confession was a prelude to his death.

"How tragic," he muttered.

After Issei parted ways with his new "girlfriend," Mika followed him, along with Koneko, until he reached his neighborhood, then Mika quickly departed, intending to return later that night.

"You've improved that much?" Mika was delighted. Gabriel, along with the starry expanse that granted him his power, was his greatest asset.

She was the reason his journeys had been so successful.

"What is it?" she asked, flying closer, her curiosity piqued. She was always eager to learn about new worlds.

Under the light of the full moon, Mika raced across the rooftops towards Issei's home.

Reaching a vantage point, he surveyed the area. "Two familiars—one from the Fallen Angels, the other from the Devils, I presume."

"But a single familiar can't provide complete surveillance." He quickly found a blind spot in their coverage—a narrow corner likely considered inaccessible.

But not to him.

"Gabriel."

"Understood." Gabriel materialized beside him, instantly grasping the situation. She placed her hand on the wall, and ripples spread across its surface.

This was one of her [Nen abilities: Phase Door]. Unburdened by the need for combat prowess, her abilities were incredibly diverse, focused solely on supporting Mika, Airmid, and Mellie.

Mika stepped through the rippling portal and appeared inside Issei's home.

"Thanks, Gabriel. I couldn't have gotten in otherwise." Although he was undetectable within his [Zetsu], any physical interaction with the environment would reveal his presence.

With all the doors and windows locked, and the house under surveillance, entering undetected would have been impossible without Gabriel's assistance.

"Don't mention it. Now, show me this [Longinus]," she said, though the smile on her face betrayed her excitement.

Mika chuckled and led her upstairs to Issei's room.

They cast a minor spell to deepen Issei's sleep, preventing him from being awakened by their presence, then Gabriel focused her attention on his right arm.

"Be careful not to awaken the dragon spirit within," Mika cautioned. Both [Boosted Gear] and [Divine Dividing] contained the souls of Heavenly Dragons.

During the ancient war between Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels, two Heavenly Dragons had entered the fray, their battle causing widespread casualties among the three factions. Enraged, they had slain the dragons, and the God of the Bible had transformed their bodies into Sacred Gears, sealing their souls within.

"Don't worry, I'm prepared," Gabriel said confidently.

She waved her hand, and Issei's arm was enveloped in a network of Magic Circles. As she channeled her Magic, the circles converged on his right hand.

Data on—[Boosted Gear] flowed into her mind.

"Such an intricate design—" she murmured, filled with a newfound respect for the God of the Bible. While she might surpass this world's God in terms of accumulated knowledge, she was in awe of his creativity and ingenuity.

Using the same fundamental principles, she had created something far beyond Gabriel's own understanding.

Mika smiled inwardly.

In this world, the God of the Bible, though not the strongest, was undoubtedly the most knowledgeable.

Mika sat on the floor, leaning against the wall, watching Gabriel work.

Three hours later, the Magic Circles around Issei's arm dissipated.

"Well? Are you finished?" Mika asked, standing up.

"Yes!" she declared, giving him a thumbs-up, her face beaming with satisfaction.

Three hours of intense analysis and learning had left her feeling incredibly fulfilled.

"I now have a complete understanding of a [Sacred Gear's] structure. I doubt anyone in this world knows more about them than I do." As Yahweh's avatar, she couldn't allow herself to be surpassed in understanding the creations of this world's God.

Mika's eyes lit up. "Could you extract [Boosted Gear] from his arm?" He was rather fond of it.

"Of course. However, removing a [Sacred Gear] would likely kill him. I've only just begun researching them. Perhaps, with more time, I could extract it safely."

"In that case—I'll pass." While he liked [Boosted Gear], it wasn't essential. He had acquired many treasures in other worlds, but those had been from opponents he had defeated in battle. Killing an innocent, untrained boy for his [Sacred Gear] wasn't his style.

"Now that we've analyzed the [Sacred Gear], let's go. It'll be dawn soon."

They left Issei's room and headed downstairs.

"Are you that fond of that [Sacred Gear]?" Gabriel asked curiously.

"Of course! [Boosted Gear] looks awesome in its Balance Breaker form!" Mika chuckled, mimicking its appearance with his hands.

"Just because it looks cool?"

"Power is temporary, but style is eternal!"

"I see—" Gabriel nodded, then smiled.

"Then I'll create a [Longinus] just for you, Mika. You can design its appearance."
