A New Generation of Ninja

A few days later, Kat and Itachi returned to the village. They had a mission to gather more information on the hosts of the tailed beasts. Their first host was Naruto while the others went to the other villages. On the way to the village, Kat turned to Itachi. "Are you sure we're making the right move? Pain is ordering us to take and kill an innocent child."

Itachi sighed. "Orders are orders, my love. We have to do what we're told."

Kat nodded. "So, killing children is something you're ok with? So if he ordered you to kill Sasuke you would do it?"

Itachi stiffened. "Of course, I wouldn't." 

As the gates of Kohana became closer, Kat felt her blood run cold. She knew that this visit was different than her first one. One moment she was gathering information about the Nine Tails. Now she was ordered to kill the child that carried that beast. A beast that had at one point been under the control of a dark ninja to kill Minato and Kushina. 

"Kat? Are you ok?" Itachi squeezed her hand for comfort. 

She nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine.

Meanwhile, the other members had success with this mission of kidnapping the other hosts of the Tailed Beasts. Setting the ninjas of their evil powers making them free. Pain set a taunting message to Kat and Itachi telling them that if they failed in this they would be expelled from the Akastki. You have until the end of the day to bring me Naruto Uzumaki. If you fail in this either one or both of you will feel my wrath.

 Crossing the threshold of their once home the couple knew that this wasn't a pleasant visit.
