A New Generation of Ninja

Kat finally returned to the Auastki head out. Without saying much she ignored all eyes that were on her. She caught Itachi's and couldn't help but smile and blush. Dammit after all these years, he still gets to me. I could never resist his charm. She thought to herself. 

Itachi approached her and embraced her. "How did the mission go? I've missed you." He kissed her.

Konan, the only other female ninja within the group, coughed. "If you two are gonna get it on, get a room." She couldn't help but smile knowing that her best friend had someone had someone to spend her life with. I remember having Yanhiko with me. She thought to herself. 

Kat smiled. "It went well. I found information about who the jinchiurki of Kuruma is." She looked at Konan. "It's just a kiss. So get over yourself."

Pain, the group leader, looked at her. "Oh, and who is it?" He looked at Kat with a look that suggested he could kill her alone.

"Naruto Uzumaki." She said.

Pain nodded slowly. "Interesting. We could use this to our advantage. Well done Katherine. Now we act quickly to bring him the hideout." He again glanced at Kat. "You didn't allow your sister or anyone else that you were there on a secret mission did you?"

Kat shook her head. "My sister might be dumb but I was able to tell her that I was there for a family reunion. "

"Good." It was thought that Pain was afraid of Kat due to the rumors of her power. That it reviled his own.

Yawning Kat rubbed her eyes. "Well, I think I'm gonna go to bed." She turned and headed for her and Itachi's bedroom. She smiled feeling a hand through her hair.
