Chapter 7: Another Encounter With Sakura
Kat and Itachi went their separate ways to look for Naruto. While looking for the young ninja, she noticed her sister sitting on a park bench by herself. Kat couldn't help but smile knowing where Sakura used to sit while waiting for her as a kid. "Sako?"
Sakura looked up and her eyes filled with tears. "Kat? You're home. Is it for good this time?"
Kat sat next to her on the bench. "Do you remember when we were young, and you used to sit here waiting for me to return from every mission?"
Sakura nodded. "Yeah. Can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
Sakura looked at her sister. "What does the Akustki want with Naruto?"
Kat's heart sank. How did Sakura know about this? I tried to protect her from all this. Kakashi did you tell her?
Meanwhile, Itachi encountered Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurnai. He stood there for a moment the wind moving his cloak. "Hello, Kakashi." His voice carried through the air making the three shinobi stop in their tracks.
Kakashi turned around slowly. "What are you doing here? Itachi."
Itachi removed the straw hat from his head and opened his cloak with one hand letting the wind blow his hair. His eyes stared right through his old friend's soul. "You know why Kitty Kat and I are here." A cute nickname that he had called Kat when they were growing up.
Kakashi nodded. "It's not for a casual visit I know that much. You two are here for Naurto aren't you."
Itachi smiled sinisterly. "You're as perspective as ever, old friend. Now that you know why we are here, hand him over, and we'll be on our way. The leader has great plans for the boy."
Asuma came over to where Itachi and Kakashi were standing. "We won't hand Naruto over to you without a fight."
Kakashi looked at Asuma. "We won't be able to beat, Itachi. He's known for using the Sharingan on people and sending them to a place of torture."
