A New Generation of Ninja

Sakura looked at Kakashi and Sartobi. She couldn't understand what she was hearing. "Excuse me, Sensei, Lord Hokage but my sister would never just up and leave the village without a good reason. I understand she's a powerful ninja but what do you mean she's an S-rank criminal?"

Kakashi sighed. "Sakura, I mean that she's not returning to the village. She chooses to live a life as a rouge with Itachi and those who are known for going from village to village killing without remorse."

Kat swung the window door up since she was listening to the whole conversation. "I'm surprised about you Kakashi. That you would have such a low opinion of me." She stood up as the wind blew her Akauski cloak and ruffled her long blonde hair. "I was one of your best students after graduating from the Academy." Her blue eyes caught Sakura's green eyes and a soft smile crossed her face. "Hello, Sako."

Sakura ran over to her older sister. "Kat, I knew you would come home." She went to hug her sister but was only met with a cold stare. "Kat, I don't understand. I thought you were here to see Mom and Dad?"

"I did visit them but I can't stay for long." She ruffled Sakura's pink hair. "You have become a young kounichi. I'm proud of you, Sakura. I only regret that I couldn't have trained you myself. But, I see that you have sensei that can."

Kakashi smiled softly. "I never thought you say that, Katherine. But I'm not surprised."

Naruto noticed the cloak that Kat was wearing. "What are you doing here? I've never seen you before."

Katherine turned her head slowly. "Naruto Uzumaki. From the letters that Sakura has sent me, you are quite annoying." She turned her head back towards Sakura. "I must leave you once again Sakura. But keep up the hard work." Her cold stare softened and she kissed her sister on the forehead. "I do care for you, sister."

Sakura smiled and started to tear up. "Please don't leave me again, Kat. I want to go with you." She looked up at her big sister.

Kat smiled and wiped her tears away. "Where I go, I can't take you with me. You are only 12 years old and the world is a cruel one that I have tried to shield you from." She tried to hide Sakura from her real mission. She looked at Kakashi. "Take care of her, Kakashi."

Kakashi nods. "I will." 

With that, Kat vanished as soon as she arrived. 

The other member of Team 7, Sasuke Uchiha who had not spoken since Kat had barged into the Hokage's office finally spoke. "Kakashi, may I ask something?"

Kakashi looked at him. "Of course."

Sasuke walked over to him. "Why do you think she was here? What was her mission? I don't think it was to catch up with her parents or Sakura."

Kakashi sighs. "I don't know Sasuke. But next time she's in the village we will need to keep an eye on her."

Sartobi looked at Kakashi with an almost sad look in his eyes. "Kakashi, if it comes to it, would you be able to kill your former student?"

Kakashi blinked. "Lord 3rd I would not want to. But I wouldn't have no choice in battle. I would feel regret."
