Chapter 1073: A Love Story That Would Stand The Test Of Time [Part 2]



"I know you suffered a lot during your childhood," Ethan said as he intertwined his fingers with Nicole's. "But perhaps that was meant to be.

"Only by feeling sadness will you truly feel what happiness is. Only by feeling loneliness will you feel what it's truly like to be with someone who genuinely loves you for who you are."

Nicole stared at Ethan's face before wrapping her arms around his neck and whispering something in his ear.

"I bet you say that to all your lovers," Nicole whispered.

"I don't," Ethan replied. "And you know it."

"I don't know."

"Then I'll let you know that right now, I only have my eyes on you."

Ethan stood up and held Nicole in a princess carry.

"Do you remember the ending of the story of Sleeping Beauty?" Ethan asked.

"It's been so long, I already forgot its ending," Nicole replied.

Ethan smirked as he lowered Nicole so that she could stand up on her own.

The young man then snapped his fingers and summoned the Fairies from the Celestial Domain.

The Fairies giggled and started to play instruments, while some of them sang.

"May I have the honor of dancing with you, Your Highness?" Ethan asked as he respectfully gave a bow to Nicole, making the young lady feel her heart wildly beating inside her chest.

She didn't answer Ethan and instead allowed him to take her hand.

The young man then slowly but gently led Nicole to dance, surrounded by fairies who played their instruments, sang, and danced along with them.

Nicole, who didn't really believe in happy endings due to the things she experienced in life, felt her eyes moisten, making her vision blur.

However, Ethan, who was supporting her, made sure that she wouldn't trip or fall as they continued to dance.

"I'll give you the happy ending you deserve, Nicole," Ethan said. "Of course, there might be times when we might argue with each other, ignore each other, and just plainly don't see eye to eye.

"Relationships are filled with trials and errors. But, I promise you this. I will use my lifetime to make you happy. We may not live the fairytale happily ever after, but we will live as happily as we can."

The young man then paused before slowly bringing Nicole close to him, gently wiping the tears that had started to fall from her eyes.

"Nicole, will you marry me?" Ethan asked, feeling his heart beating so fast that he feared if she said no, his heart might jump out of his throat.

"Yes," Nicole replied as she held onto the young man as if afraid that he would disappear if she didn't hold him tight enough. "I will marry you."

The Fairies, who heard this, broke out into cheering and started to fly a few meters above Ethan's and Nicole's head, throwing Fairy Dust, which fell on them like golden rain.

Although the two teenagers were a Wizard and Witch, they truly felt that at that time, everything seemed magical.

It was as if the entire world was conspiring to ensure that the two of them would have a night that they would remember for the rest of their life.

The singing and dancing continued as Nicole and Ethan danced under the moon and the stars in the sky.

It was a magical moment meant only for the two of them.

Even Sebastian and Ethan's Other Half, who would usually comment at a time like this, didn't say anything.

They quietly did a fist bump with each other and looked at the two dancing teenagers with smiles on their faces.

Both of them approved of Nicole and hoped that she and Ethan would live a happy and wonderful life together.

Finally, when Nicole was no longer able to contain her overflowing emotions, she took the initiative to stand on tiptoe and kiss Ethan's lips, making the fairies whistle and cheer some more.

"I think I can no longer dance," Nicole said as she held onto Ethan, leaning against his body. "My legs feel like jelly right now."

"Don't worry, Your Highness," Ethan replied. "I'll handle the rest."

Without another word, Ethan picked her up in a princess carry and moved towards the tree house.

The Fairies exchanged knowing glances with each other and spread out, creating a protective perimeter around the tree, ready to beat the crap out of anyone who might dare to disturb their Master and Mistress in their special night together.

Ethan carried Nicole up the stairs and headed to the Master Bedroom.

He didn't even bother to lock the door of the room when he entered and laid the young lady on the bed.

"I love you, Nicole," Ethan said, looking into her beautiful eyes filled with love and affection. "I haven't said it enough to show how much I really love you."

"I love you too," Nicole replied. "So, love me a lot, okay?"

Ethan nodded and kissed her lips.

Soon, the rustling of clothes spread inside the room.

Ethan almost lost his breath the moment his gaze landed on her naked body, which made his own body heat up uncontrollably.

This wasn't the first time he had seen her naked, but after professing their feelings to each other, things had become very different from how it had been in the past.

"Ethan, please," Nicole said hoarsely, her voice tinged with the desire that she had been holding back all those years.

Ethan, who was also at his limit, lowered his head and shared a deep, passionate kiss with her.

His hands then moved over her chest, groping and kneading the soft hills that perfectly fit the

palm of his hands.

Nicole surrendered herself to the person she loved, feeling both pain, pleasure, and

excitement at the same time.

When the time came where they finally joined as one, tears once again fell from her eyes, but not because of the pain or any form of sadness.

These tears were the unshed tears of her childhood self who had long wished for this moment

to happen.

She was a treasure chest, and Ethan was the one who held the key to open her up, revealing the treasure that would belong to him and only him.

As the two of them continued to share their love, and feelings for each other, the Legacies inside Ethan's body, as well as Nicole's Origin Magic Crystal, started to resonate together.

But, the two of them were unaware of what was happening.

Both of them were in a world of their own, and no one would be able to get between them at

this point in time.

Nicole's gentle sighs, cries, and gasps spread inside the room as Ethan made love to her.

She had asked him to fill her with happiness and plug it up so that it wouldn't leak ever again. Ethan was more than happy to give her what she wanted, for it was also what he wanted to do. Tonight was the night when they finally broke through that last barrier between the two of them, which would also herald the start of a love story that would stand the test of time.
