Following the direction that the voice was coming from, it didn't seem like there was anything special about the person that said this.

However, there was this strange sensation that was coming from this person.

It was this sensation as if there were two people that were in the same place.

No, it wasn't just two people…

It felt like there were several people that were standing there at the same time, even though there was only a single person who was standing there.

When Lin Fan used his spiritual sense, he found that he wasn't mistaken.

It was as if this single body contained the essence of several different people with the sensation that it was giving off. It was as if there were several different souls that were crammed into this singular body.

This was made even more evident when that voice rang out again.

"What reason do you have for hitting my labs like this? Have I ever done anything to you?"

Lin Fan just ignored the words that this person was saying and focused on the voice itself. When he listened carefully, there was something that he noticed about this voice.

It was that there was a main voice and there were voices that seemed to be wrapped around it. It seemed like the main voice was the voice of the one that was in control of the body, the other voices just seemed like the voices of those that had been crammed into the body.

Though it wasn't as if this realization brought him any closer to figuring out just what this person was.

After a long moment of silence, Lin Fan finally asked, "Just who are you?"

"Ha, ha, ha." There was a laugh that rang out through the air, but this laugh was a combination of different voices. These voices that were in this laugh seemed to clash against each other, which created a grating sound.

Instead of it actually being a laugh, it sounded more like nails scratching on a chalkboard.

If it wasn't for the fact that he was a Golden Core Realm Cultivator, he would have found it hard to listen to this voice.

The others had to cover their ears when they heard this voice.

Though the researchers that had lost arms couldn't cover both ears since they were missing hands to cover them. In the end, their ears started to bleed from the discomfort that they were feeling.

This grating voice was so powerful that it was actually able to destroy eardrums.

It was hard to imagine just what kind of things had to be done to create a voice like this.

At this point, it was hard to ignore it.

There were all of these experiments that were done on the spirit beasts, but there had been no signs of human experimentation. But even then, it wasn't as if it was that far of a leap to go from experimenting on spirit beasts to experimenting on humans.

It was clear that this was a step further along in terms of the research that was done in this lab.

After that laugh continued for a bit, the voice suddenly said, "You're the one that's asking around for me and you're still asking me who I am? It seems that you weren't that prepared."

Lin Fan and the others couldn't help being a bit taken aback when they heard this.

"Tucker? You're saying that you're Tucker?" Lin Fan slowly asked this question.

The director just simply gave a nod before saying, "In the flesh, or I guess not exactly in the flesh. But it's not as if you'll understand what I mean. It's not as if your puny minds can understand the greatness of my experiments."

Lin Fan couldn't help deeply knitting his brows when he heard this, only he didn't get a chance to say anything.

Before he could actually say anything, there was a slash of flames that flew past him.

He had been so focused on the director that he didn't notice what Xiao Ming was doing.

It seemed that she was done listening to the director, it seemed that she just couldn't stand the things that he admitted to doing. So before anyone could do anything, she chose to take this chance to take care of him.

This was certainly what Lin Fan taught her, but he actually had questions for the director.

But it seemed that this attack of hers didn't work.

"Ha, is that all that you have? It's funny that you could take down one of my labs with just this level of power." The smoke cleared and the director was revealed standing there without a single wound on him.

His arm was raised and the sleeve of his lab coat was burned off, but his arm was perfectly fine.

Looking closely at the arm, one could see that there was a layer of something that was covering his arm. It seemed to be a layer of some kind of scales that was covering his arm.

These scales didn't seem that thick, but they were strong enough to stop Xiao Ming's flame slash without a single injury. Though it wasn't as if this slash contained Xiao Ming's full power since it was a quick attack that she released.

Before she could unleash another attack, Lin Fan quickly stopped her.

"Oh, it seems like you're interested in my research after all?" The director said when he saw the way that Lin Fan stopped Xiao Ming.

Xiao Ming narrowed her eyes to look at Lin Fan, but Lin Fan just had disgusted look on his face when he heard this.

He looked at the director with that disgusted look and said, "Don't try to create a misunderstanding. You should be fully aware of what I'm here for."

"Hmm, is that so? It seems like you do have some interest in my research." The director said in an almost teasing tone of voice that made Lin Fan feel more disgusted, but he forced himself to remain calm.

Taking a deep breath, Lin Fan said, "Surrender yourself. Or do you think that you'll be able to escape today?"

"Escape? Well, it doesn't seem likely with the power that I'm sensing from you. You're completely different from the others, you really are a threat to me. But does it matter if I escape or not?" The director said with a teasing smile.

Lin Fan couldn't help slightly knitting his brows when he heard this.

He just looked at the director with his eyes narrowed, but it didn't seem like the director was worried at all. It seemed that the director was completely calm even under the pressure that Lin Fan released.

After a moment of silence, Lin Fan suddenly made his move.

But it didn't seem to have an effect.

The others didn't know what was happening, but Lin Fan certainly knew since he was the one doing it. No matter how he tried to press down on the director with his gravity increasing sand, it didn't have any effect on him.

It was as if there was nothing that could press him down.

It was as if his body was made of steel with the way that he just stood there.

There was a part of Lin Fan that even thought that his ability wasn't even working. But that was proven wrong by the fact that the floor was cracking underneath the director.

It was clear that his power was putting pressure on the director, it was just that he was completely negating it with the power of his body.

"What is with that body of yours?" Lin Fan asked in a strange voice.

The director's eyes lit up when he heard this before saying, "You're finally realizing the amazingness of my research? Let me tell you, it wasn't easy to create something like this. It takes a lot of effort to create this kind of body. First, it took…"

The director seemed to have started on a rant about his body, but it really didn't explain anything.

Rather, it just made people even more disgusted to hear since it wasn't the kind of research that was good to mention to others.

"Enough." Lin Fan suddenly said, cutting the director off.

The director just revealed a disappointed look before saying, "You're the one that was interested in my work in the first place, how could you say something like that?"

The look on his face really made it seem like he was being betrayed.

But Lin Fan had enough of the director.

Since he was tough…then it meant that he would be able to take a beating.

In that case, there was no need to hold back.

With a cough that had blood in it, the director said, "I never thought that you would be this strong. This data is perfect for my future experiments."
