When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 95: ...Oh No You Didn't...

The journey back to Tempest had been peaceful since leaving Ramiris' Labyrinth, but that tranquility shattered when Rimuru noticed an unusual presence in the forest. His sharp senses picked up on it immediately, and Raphael's voice confirmed his suspicion:

"Warning: An individual of significant combat ability is nearby. Analysis indicates hostility."

Rimuru stopped the group, a smile on his face to calm the children. "Ranga, take the kids and hide. Stay alert. I'll handle this."

Ranga obeyed without question, growling softly as he led the children to a safe location. Once they were gone, Rimuru approached the source of the disturbance, his senses on high alert. A woman stepped out of the shadows, her black armor gleaming faintly under the sunlight. She had short, dark hair and piercing eyes filled with cold determination. The insignia on her armor confirmed her affiliation: she was a paladin from the Western Holy Church.

Rimuru greeted her with a calm demeanor. "Hey there. I don't know who you are, but sneaking around like this isn't exactly friendly."

The woman's expression remained stern. She ignored his words entirely and raised her sword, her voice laced with venom. "Today is the day you die, monster."

Rimuru blinked, genuinely taken aback. "Whoa, hold on! What's with the hostility? I don't even know you."

She stepped closer, her aura radiating killing intent. "You don't need to know me. All that matters is that you're a monster who killed Shizu-sensei. For that, I'll destroy you."

The mention of Shizu's name froze Rimuru in place. "Wait, Shizu? You were her student?" His voice softened, hoping to de-escalate the situation. "Listen, I didn't kill her. She passed away peacefully, and I promised her I'd protect her students. You have it all wrong."

But his words fell on deaf ears. The woman gripped her sword tighter, her stance poised for battle. "Lies. I don't need your excuses."

At that moment, Raphael chimed in:

"Individual identified as Hinata Sakaguchi. Leader of the Holy Order of the Western Saints. She is a direct subordinate of Demon Lord Luminous Valentine."

Rimuru frowned. "A paladin working for a demon lord? That's ironic."

"Warning: A barrier designed to weaken monsters has been erected. Analysis complete. Countermeasures deployed. The barrier will not affect you."

Hinata made her first move, dashing forward with blinding speed, her sword aiming straight for Rimuru's heart. He sidestepped effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise.

"You're quick," Rimuru said casually, dodging another strike. "But seriously, can we talk about this?"

Hinata's eyes narrowed as she unleashed a flurry of attacks. Each strike was faster than the last, her sword shimmering with holy energy. Rimuru continued to evade, studying her movements while instructing Raphael.

"Raphael, analyze her combat style. Record her techniques and holy magic for future use."

"Understood. Analysis in progress."

Hinata's frustration grew as none of her attacks landed. She activated her unique skill, Usurper, intending to steal Rimuru's abilities. But to her shock, the skill was nullified entirely.

"Impossible," she muttered, her voice tinged with disbelief. "The only other person who's resisted this is Luminous-sama."

Rimuru smirked. "Sorry, but your little tricks won't work on me."

Hinata's grip on her sword tightened. "You're stronger than I thought, but I won't stop. Shizu-sensei deserves justice."

Rimuru sighed, realizing she wouldn't listen. "Fine. If you want a fight, I'll play along—for a bit."

The Fight Intensifies

Hinata unleashed a series of advanced sword techniques, each one imbued with holy magic. Her strikes radiated light, leaving trails of energy in their wake. She moved like a storm, her speed and precision making her attacks almost impossible to follow.

Rimuru, however, matched her blow for blow, blocking her strikes with ease. He wasn't just defending—he was learning. Each attack Hinata made was analyzed and copied by Raphael, feeding directly into Rimuru's Ultimate Skill: Omni Evolution.

"Her techniques are impressive," Rimuru thought. "But she's too predictable. Raphael, how much longer until we've learned everything?"

"All combat techniques have been recorded. Holy magic proficiency is now 82%. Additional exposure required for full mastery."

Hinata leaped back, her frustration evident. "Why won't you fight back? Are you mocking me?"

Rimuru shrugged. "Not at all. I'm just bored now. I've already seen everything you can do."

Her face darkened with anger. "Don't underestimate me!" She raised her sword high, channeling her most powerful move: Melt Slash.

The air around her shimmered as the attack charged. Her sword glowed brightly, its edge surrounded by a halo of destructive energy. With a shout, she unleashed the technique. "This is the end, monster! Melt Slash!"

A beam of holy light shot toward Rimuru, consuming everything in its path. The forest shook as the ground split apart, the sheer power of the attack reducing trees to ash.

Hinata smirked, lowering her sword. "Shizu, I've avenged you."

But her victory was short-lived. As the light faded, Rimuru stepped out of the destruction completely unscathed. His face was calm, but his aura radiated irritation.

"Okay, now you've done it," he said, his voice cold.

Hinata froze, her mind racing. "How? How are you still standing?"

Before she could react, Rimuru vanished from her sight. A split second later, she felt the sharp pain of her sword being torn from her grasp. A swift kick swept her legs out from under her, and she fell to the ground.

The "Punishment"

Rimuru loomed over her, his expression a mix of annoyance and amusement. "You really don't listen, do you?"

He grabbed her by the arm, hoisting her up before unceremoniously flipping her over his knee. Before Hinata could process what was happening, Rimuru delivered a series of hard, precise spanks.

"This is for attacking me without listening," he said, his voice firm. "And this is for being stubborn."

Hinata's face turned crimson, both from the pain and the humiliation. "S-stop! What are you doing?!"

Rimuru didn't stop. "I'm teaching you a lesson, since you're acting like a child."

Tears welled in her eyes as she struggled to break free, but Rimuru's strength was absolute. "This is… this is ridiculous!"

After what felt like an eternity, Rimuru finally let her go, dropping her to the ground like a discarded doll. She lay there, stunned and humiliated, her body aching from the unconventional punishment.

Rimuru dusted off his hands and turned to leave. "Next time, listen before you attack. And be grateful inwent easy on you because of Shizu".

Hinata glared at him through her tears, she has never been more ashamed in her life.

As Rimuru walked back to the children, Raphael's calm and calculated voice echoed in his mind.

"Report: All of Hinata Sakaguchi's techniques and Holy Magic have been fully analyzed and copied. Master is now capable of utilizing Holy Magic at an advanced level."

Rimuru smirked. "Well, that's convenient. Now I can play her game if she ever decides to pick another fight."
