When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 115: Shizu

The next morning, while Rimuru sat in his office, reviewing reports about Tempest's growing economy and security updates, Raphael's voice echoed in his mind.

Raphael: "Master, I have good news. Shizu has awakened. Her soul has fully stabilized, and her synchronization with the Fire Spirit 'Fiamma' is complete. You can now safely release her from your Imaginary Space."

Rimuru's heart skipped a beat.

Rimuru (excited): "Shizu's awake? Finally!"

He pushed aside the reports and immediately teleported to his private chambers, where he could release her in a calm and controlled environment.

Inside his Imaginary Space, Shizu lay on a soft, glowing bed of mana, her breathing steady and her expression peaceful. The Fire Spirit Fiamma's energy resonated faintly within her, glowing like embers around her form. Rimuru took a deep breath, steadied himself, and released her.

Shizu's body slowly materialized in the physical world, her figure glowing faintly as the transition completed. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing the same warm yet determined gaze Rimuru remembered so vividly.

Shizu (softly): "Rimuru…?"

Hearing her voice again made Rimuru's chest swell with emotion.

Rimuru (smiling warmly): "Welcome back, Shizu."

Shizu slowly sat up, looking down at her hands in wonder.

Shizu: "I feel… different. Stronger. Is this… the Fire Spirit?"

Raphael: "Correct. The Spirit Fiamma has fully integrated with her soul, stabilizing it and granting her new powers."

Rimuru: "You're alive, Shizu. I promised I'd bring you back, and I did. You're here now, and you're safe."

Tears welled up in Shizu's eyes as the memories of her final moments and her connection to Rimuru flooded back.

Shizu (smiling through her tears): "You… kept your promise. Thank you, Rimuru."

Rimuru felt a lump in his throat but maintained his usual cheerful demeanor.

Rimuru (grinning): "Of course! I'm a slime of my word, after all. Plus, I missed you."

Shizu chuckled softly, wiping her tears.

Rimuru explained to Shizu all that had happened since her passing—the creation of Tempest, the alliances, the battles, and even the recent events with Hinata and the Holy Empire. Shizu listened intently, her heart swelling with pride and amazement at how much Rimuru had accomplished.

Shizu: "You've built such an amazing place, Rimuru. I'm so proud of you."

Rimuru (scratching the back of his head): "Ah, well, it wasn't just me. I've got an amazing team. You'll meet them soon. In fact, why don't we go now? I'm sure everyone will be thrilled to see you."

Rimuru extended a hand to Shizu, who hesitated for a moment before taking it.

Rimuru and Shizu walked through Tempest, drawing curious and excited looks from the citizens. Many of them had heard of Shizu, the teacher who had left a lasting impression on Rimuru.

As they reached the main square, Rimuru gathered his closest companions. Shion, Benimaru, Shuna, Souei, Hakurou, Zegion, and others quickly assembled, all eager to meet the legendary figure Rimuru often spoke about.

Shion (excited): "So this is the Shizu-dono Rimuru-sama always talks about!"

Benimaru (smiling): "It's an honor to finally meet you. Rimuru has told us a lot about you."

Shizu (blushing slightly): "It's nice to meet all of you. Rimuru… really talks about me that much?"

Shion (grinning): "All the time! He's always saying how amazing you are."

Rimuru (clearing his throat): "Alright, alright, let's not embarrass me in front of Shizu."

Shion (teasing): "But it's true, Rimuru-sama~!"

The group laughed, and Shizu quickly felt at home among the lively and welcoming people of Tempest.

Rimuru decided to give Shizu another heartwarming surprise. As they walked through Tempest, he guided her toward the large school building near the city center.

Shizu (curious): "A school? Rimuru, what is this place?"

Rimuru (smirking): "Oh, just wait and see. I think you'll love this."

As they approached the building, the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air. Shizu's heart skipped a beat—those voices sounded so familiar.

When they entered the classroom, the kids—Chloe, Gale, Ryota, Kenya, and Alice—were all seated, listening to a lecture by one of the teachers. The moment they saw Rimuru and the familiar figure beside him, their eyes went wide, and their jaws dropped.

Kenya (shouting): "Shizu-sensei?!"

The kids bolted from their seats, rushing to Shizu with tears in their eyes.

Alice: "Is it really you, Shizu-sensei?!"

Gale: "How?! We thought… you…"

Shizu knelt down, tears streaming down her face as she opened her arms to embrace them. The kids threw themselves into her arms, crying and laughing at the same time.

Shizu (softly): "I'm here… I'm really here. I missed you all so much."

Chloe (tearing up): "Shizu-sensei, we thought we'd never see you again. This is like a dream!"

Rimuru leaned against the doorframe, smiling as he watched the emotional reunion unfold.

Rimuru (to himself): "This is what it's all about. Seeing them happy again makes everything worth it."

The group moved to a garden outside the school, sitting together under a large tree. The kids bombarded Shizu with questions and stories about what they'd been up to in Tempest.

Kenya (grinning): "Rimuru-sama has been teaching us so much! He's not as strict as you, though."

Rimuru (mock offense): "Hey! I'll have you know I'm an excellent teacher."

Alice (smirking): "You just bribe us with snacks so we pay attention."

Rimuru: "Tactics, Alice. It's called tactics."

Everyone laughed, and Shizu felt a warmth in her heart.

Shizu (smiling): "It seems like you're all doing well here. Rimuru has taken good care of you."

Chloe (nodding): "Tempest is amazing, Shizu-sensei. It feels like home."

The kids went on to share stories about their adventures in Tempest, from learning magic and swordsmanship to exploring the labyrinth that Ramiris had begun constructing. Shizu listened intently, her heart swelling with pride and joy.

Shizu: "I'm so glad you're all safe and happy. That's all I ever wanted for you."

Gale: "But what about you, Shizu-sensei? Are you going to stay here with us?"

Shizu glanced at Rimuru, who gave her an encouraging nod.

Shizu (softly): "I'll be here for a while. There's still so much I need to understand about… this new chance I've been given. But I promise I won't leave you again."

The kids cheered, and Rimuru smiled, feeling content as he watched the scene unfold.

That evening, Rimuru organized a massive feast in Tempest to celebrate Shizu's return and reunite her with the kids. The event was held in the main plaza, with tables laden with food and drinks.

The kids were thrilled to see all the Japanese-style food, especially dishes they hadn't eaten since leaving their world.

Kenya (mouth full): "Curry! I missed this so much!"

Alice (grinning): "This is the best meal ever! Rimuru-sama, you're amazing!"

Rimuru: "Well, I had some help from my chefs, but I'll take the compliment."

Shizu watched the kids enjoy themselves, her heart full of gratitude. She turned to Rimuru, who was sitting beside her, a plate of food in his hands.

Shizu: "Thank you, Rimuru. You've given them—and me—a place to belong."

Rimuru (smiling): "That's what Tempest is all about. You're part of this family now, Shizu. Always."

As Shizu took her first bite of Japanese curry, tears filled her eyes again.

Shizu (softly): "It tastes just like home…"

Rimuru (smiling): "I thought you might miss it. Welcome back, Shizu."

Shizu looked around at the lively gathering of friends and allies, her heart full of warmth. For the first time in a long time, she felt truly at peace.

Shizu: "Thank you, Rimuru. For everything."

Rimuru raised his glass, a big smile on his face.

Rimuru: "To new beginnings!"

Everyone raised their glasses in a cheer, celebrating not just Shizu's return but the bonds that made Tempest such a special place.
