What the hell is making games in the Ninja World?

Chapter 56: Chapter 46 : Entertainment Benefits!!

Realizing that amusement was also a source of emotional value, Uchiha Kai paused for a moment and then clapped three times in a rhythmic manner.

Immediately, an Uchiha Jonin appeared beside Uchiha Kai and respectfully asked, "Lord Kai, what are your instructions?"

As he spoke, the Uchiha Jonin's gaze toward Uchiha Kai was filled with unreserved admiration.

As one of the Uchiha sent to specifically protect Uchiha Kai, this Jonin had initially held only respect for Uchiha Kai, especially since the genjutsu games Uchiha Kai brought had been of great help to the Uchiha clan.

However, after witnessing Uchiha Kai, with a little preparation time, change the dire situation of the Uchiha clan in just a few days, his opinion of Uchiha Kai was elevated to a whole new level.

Especially today, when he witnessed representatives from various clans practically groveling and seeking cooperation at the negotiation table, this Uchiha Jonin's admiration for Uchiha Kai became absolute.

"Although Lord Kai lacks strength as a ninja, he is a rare genius that our Uchiha clan has not seen in a thousand years. Strategizing and controlling the overall situation is what Lord Kai should do. As for the fighting and killing, leave that to us ordinary people!"

This was the statement made by Uchiha Naori, the captain of Uchiha Kai's personal guard, and it became the accepted truth within the guard team!

Yes, after witnessing the tremendous changes Uchiha Kai brought to the Uchiha clan, even the Uchiha ninjas, who had always relied on strength, began to experience the strange thrill of being intellectually overwhelmed. Their values were drastically changed, showcasing a classic case of binary thinking.

And facing the admiring Uchiha guards, Uchiha Kai had firmly established himself in the position of power, directly stating his request.

After hearing this, the Uchiha guards immediately took action, diligently conveying Uchiha Kai's will.

The staff responsible for the live broadcast outside quickly received the order, nodded to indicate their understanding, and went off to prepare for the upcoming events.

These events were happening quietly, without the audience being aware.

At this moment, the audience snapped back to their senses and focused their attention on the four live streams.

Although all four live streams had viewers, the one that attracted the most attention was undoubtedly the one with Minato's team.

This time, it wasn't just Minato that drew attention; it was also because this team promised the most fun.

In the game world, after Kakashi and Obito, who were on the verge of fighting, were calmed down by Rin, Minato seized the perfect moment to speak and directed the group's attention to a notice hanging nearby.

It was a simple gameplay guide within the game, explaining some of the mechanics. The key point was that in this game, their abilities were severely weakened, only slightly stronger than ordinary people.

Moreover, due to the game's story background—chakra being banned by the evil forces known as the "demon"—the previous ninja combat techniques could no longer be used.

In the game, the players' characters needed to fight in more primitive ways and make full use of various weapons.

At the start, the group found themselves in a dilapidated wooden house acting as their safehouse, containing various weapons, such as kunai, shuriken, bows, iron rods, and swords. There were also explosive tags, Molotov cocktails, and other throwable items.

Additionally, there were medical kits that could be used to restore health—finally, players had a visible health bar in this game.

Each player could select two weapons, two throwable items, and one medical kit.

This was strictly limited—no one could carry more.

Then, Uchiha Obito, either not understanding or simply not bothering to read the rest of the instructions, glanced through it for a moment before shouting, "I got it!" and eagerly went off to grab weapons and a medical kit. In a rather submissive manner, he also said he'd help Rin and take some of her burden.

The result was that when he tried to pick up the medical kit, it kept being dropped and picked up repeatedly. Every time he picked up a new medical kit, the old one would fall out.

During the process, he even exclaimed, "What the heck? Minato-sensei, there's something wrong with this game! Why does the medical kit drop out when I pick up the second one?"

Seeing this, Minato Namikaze showed an awkward yet polite smile, while Rin Nohara looked at him helplessly. Kakashi, on the other hand, coldly remarked, "You're really a huge idiot, definitely the bottom of the class!"

Hearing this, Obito immediately lost his temper again, ready to argue with Kakashi, leading to another chaotic scene.

The highly entertaining development unsurprisingly caused the audience to burst into laughter.

After all, the other teams were all seriously reading the instructions and carefully choosing weapons and supplies, following a straightforward path.

It's not that this approach was bad, but when compared to the chaos on their side, the entertainment value was significantly reduced.

The Uchiha clan, however, couldn't hide their embarrassment, feeling like they had been disgraced on behalf of all of Konoha.

Even though Obito had become a completely different person in the game, he was still part of the Uchiha clan!

The laughter from the audience was the most embarrassing thing for the proud Uchihas.

Many Uchihas even activated their Sharingan, glaring intensely at Obito on the projection screen, wishing they could rush in and wipe the disgrace off his face.

What the Uchiha clan didn't know, however, was that while the audience was laughing, a brand-new, previously unseen concept had begun to take root in people's minds—

"So it turns out not all members of the Uchiha clan look down on others. Like all the other ninja clans, they also have members like Uchiha Obito, who are a little foolish, but very down-to-earth."

Yes, due to Obito's public 'performance', the image of the Uchiha clan, which was always seen as cold and aloof, was shattered.

A new Uchiha appeared, showing everyone that the Uchiha were not necessarily arrogant and rotten through and through!

Although it was just Obito, it was still Uchiha. The stereotype was too deeply ingrained in people's minds, so when thousands of people witnessed Obito's ridiculous behavior, the impact on the clan's image was immediately overwhelming.

This marked the breaking of the ice in the public's perception of the Uchiha.

In the genjutsu game, after a brief period of confusion, Minato's team finally figured out how to pick up items. Embarrassed by his earlier mistake, Obito immediately quieted down. The others quickly grabbed their weapons.

Among them, Obito and Rin, both graduates of the ninja academy, chose kunai and shuriken, weapons that had been specifically taught at the academy.

As for Minato and Kakashi, they chose kunai and a sword—both weapons they were skilled in. Kakashi, even though his clan's sword techniques were unrefined due to the early death of his father, was still more proficient with the sword than with other weapons.

Once their weapons were selected, the four of them arrived at the entrance of the safe house and opened the door. The name of the trial mission appeared before them.

It was a blood-red text with an ominous aura, reading: "Escape to Konoha: Stage 1 - The Forest."

This indicated that the core objective of the trial was to escape to Konoha. The entire process was divided into several sub-stages, with the current stage titled 'The Forest.' It was simple and easy to understand: the stage's map was a dense forest.

Then, the text disappeared, and Minato's team immediately heard distant growls. The visible area was a vast forest with a winding dirt path ahead.

The plant density was high, and there was a strange white mist, almost as if it was warning them not to approach those areas.

Before they could assess the situation, a 'person' with blood-red eyes, full of madness and brutality, appeared. Their skin was grayish-white, their clothes tattered, and in many places, their flesh and even bones could be seen.

They charged toward Minato's team, running at full speed, like an ordinary person.

The appearance of this guy seemed like a signal, as one after another, beings similar to this person rushed out.

Among them were both men and women, but the common trait was that they had no reason, and they didn't seem like living people. They carried a pure hatred for life.

"Zombies!"

Kakashi immediately let out a low growl, raising his hand to throw a kunai. The kunai hit the first zombie that rushed towards them, easily piercing through its chest and leaving a shattered hole.

However, the zombie, despite the injury, only staggered for a moment before letting out a beast-like roar and continued charging forward.

The fact that these enemies couldn't be killed surprised everyone, but both Minato and Kakashi, seasoned ninjas, were merely startled and quickly resumed their battle.

On the other hand, Obito and Rin, who had just graduated from the Ninja Academy, were a bit at a loss.

Even though Obito had experienced something similar in the morning, the harsh survival environment still left him feeling dizzy.

The main reason for this was that the zombies were truly terrifying, and the fact that they couldn't be killed made them even more unsettling, causing them to panic.

In fact, this reaction was completely normal. The other three teams had also left their safe house and encountered the zombies.

At first, they were all panicked, their thrown kunai, shurikens, and arrows all missing. Eventually, they were forced into close combat and killed the zombies with melee weapons.

Even so, they were still attacked by the zombies, scratched, beaten, and even bitten, which scared them to the point of screaming in terror, showing a rather embarrassing display.

In contrast, Minato's team was in an entirely different situation.

Although they had been caught up in a lot of mischief caused by Obito earlier, when it came to real combat, with Minato, the Yellow Flash, and Kakashi, the genius young ninja, even with their less-than-ideal bodies, they maintained incredible combat strength.

Killing the zombies was as easy as chopping vegetables, and they quickly discovered the zombies' weaknesses.

These zombies may have looked terrifying, but their bodies were much "more fragile" than a normal person's.

Attacks easily damaged their bodies, and both their heads and spines were weak points. As long as their brains were destroyed or their spines broken, the zombie would die on the spot.

In a situation where the body was already so "fragile," the zombies were incredibly easy to kill. Even a wooden stick could easily smash their skulls.

In this environment, while the other teams were still panicking at the safe house doors, struggling against the zombies, Minato's team had already started their offensive.
