Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde

Chapter 69: Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [69]

The remaining system gold coins now exceed 500,000. Rhodes set aside several thousand for emergencies and then initiated a 50-draw pull using 500,000 system gold coins, aiming to obtain a powerful mid-tier monster from the store.

So, what should he draw? An alien, an upgraded mechanical monster, or perhaps a super beast? Or maybe an ancient monster to try his luck!

Upgrading mechanical monsters isn't needed for now.

Superbeasts aren't in short supply either, thanks to the Yaloo Notebook.

At this stage, what Rhodes wants most is an alien subordinate, useful for research or as a disguise for field missions.

Most aliens possess the ability to enlarge or shrink to human size and even mimic human appearance, making them ideal for secret operations.

Rhodes spent all 500,000 coins on monster draws, executing a 50-draw pull, specifically selecting aliens from the mid-tier prize pool.

After deducting 500,000 coins, he received 55 mid-tier store draws, and a golden light burst out of the store's prize pool.

"Come on, store! Give me something good! An Aboran, please! If not, at least a Baltan Seijin!"

"If I can't create a super beast, then making a Zetton would still be amazing!"

It's well known that although Zetton was created as a war machine by the Seijin, when it comes to mass-producing Zettons and creating various Zetton variants, Baltan Seijin is the true expert!

A pile of monster fragments exploded out:

[Aliens]:

[Magma Seijin]

[Empire Seijin]

[Baltan Seijin]

[Metron Seijin]

[Three-Face Monster Dada]

And Rhodes' most desired—[Aboran Seijin]!

[Monsters]:

[Space Dinosaur Zetton]

[Space Tyrant]

[Bogal]

[Orb Dark Monster King]

[Fusion Monster Three Emperor King]

This mid-tier store draw was incredibly worthwhile! Even the ultimate movie bosses appeared!

However, none of the monsters had enough fragments to be synthesized, and mid-tier prize pool monsters could only be synthesized using other mid-tier monster fragments at a 10:1 ratio.

Among the aliens, Rhodes had eight fragments of one, but unfortunately, it wasn't Aboran Seijin—it was Baltan Seijin, the so-called Zetton expert who could create Zettons!

"Not bad! Not bad! Even though it's not Aboran, he's still a biotech specialist who can create and modify monsters. I can even show him my Yaloo notebook!"

Rhodes spent:

[8 Baltan Seijin fragments]

[20 mid-tier monster fragments]

And successfully synthesized Baltan Seijin!

A red-armored alien with a catfish-like face and two antennae appeared in Rhodes' monster list.

[Baltan Seijin (Tentacle Alien)]

[Height: 2.3m or 43m (can freely switch)]

[Weight: 80kg or several tons (varies per individual)]

[Combat ability: Weaker than an average monster]

[Specialty: Creating Space Dinosaur Zetton and various Zetton variants]

Although his combat strength is low, his biotech expertise makes him more valuable than any monster Rhodes currently possesses. He is a scientific genius, not a combat-type fighter.

Rhodes sealed the cockpit to prevent interruptions and summoned Baltan Seijin.

A flash of light revealed an alien in silver-red armor with a steel mask standing before Rhodes.

"Baltan Seijin greets my great master. Thank you for reviving me and bringing me to this new universe."

He immediately knelt before Rhodes and spoke.

Rhodes asked:

"Hmm! What were you doing before? How did you get here? Do you still remember your past?"

Since this was his first intelligent subordinate, Rhodes needed to understand his background.

Baltan Seijin responded:

"Great Master, of course, I remember! I was battling that accursed Ultraman Jack! I worked so hard to create Zetton II, a powerful monster weapon capable of killing Ultraman! But that despicable Ultra warrior ambushed me with an Ultra Spear and killed me!"

"But I believe, even in death, my Zetton II would have defeated Ultraman Jack!"

Rhodes nodded.

"I see... So, you're not the powerful Baltan Seijin from Ultraman Legend or Ultraman Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy... but the one from Ultraman Jack."

Unfortunately, your Zetton II didn't succeed in defeating Ultraman Jack.

Instead, it was blown up by an Ultra Tornado after only ten seconds, dying just after you.

Rhodes didn't mention this, not wanting to hurt his new subordinate's confidence.

"Thank you, Great Master, for reviving me. I will serve you loyally!" Baltan Seijin quickly expressed his gratitude.

Rhodes then asked:

"Can you transform into a human form? From now on, while inside this spaceship, do not maintain your alien appearance."

"No problem, Master."

With a flash of energy, Baltan Seijin transformed into a human—a middle-aged man in a suit, about 1.7 meters tall, looking around 40 years old.

"Excellent! From now on, your name will be Balt!"

Rhodes then asked:

"Now, can you create a Zetton for me?"

"After all, the greatest role of a Baltan Alien is creating Zetton. Though you're not an Ultra legend, nor the Baltan Alien from Ultraman Galaxy Fight, at least you've created Zetton II before. This shouldn't be difficult for you, right?"

"Of course, no problem, my great master. I just need a proper biological laboratory, and I can create a Zetton II for you," Balt said.

He was quite proud that his master appreciated the Zetton II he had created. After all, this was his specialty—he was a biological scientist in the field of cosmic studies. Zetton II was his masterpiece, a monster capable of killing Ultraman, even more powerful than the original Zetton created by the Zetton Aliens.

"You can check this spaceship—can it be converted into a laboratory? This is a small mothership from the Pedan Aliens," Rhodes said.

I don't have any biological laboratories! See if you can modify this spaceship instead!

"Master, I request permission to use your spaceship's control panel. I need to analyze the ship's detailed data to determine whether it can be converted into a laboratory for me to create Zetton II," Balt bowed to Rhodes as he spoke.

"No problem, I've granted you the rank of vice-captain on this spaceship," Rhodes nodded and authorized Balt as the vice-captain of the Pedan ship.

After receiving Rhodes' authorization, Balt immediately went to the ship's control panel, to check various data. However, after a thorough review, he shook his head helplessly. The Pedan spaceship was highly advanced in mechanical technology, but it lacked any biological research facilities.

"Apologies, master. This spaceship is purely designed as a technological battle mothership. It doesn't have a biological laboratory. If we want to create Zetton, we need to construct a proper biological lab first," Balt said with slight disappointment.

"Wait a moment, Balt. If you had your spaceship, would you be able to modify it to create Zetton?" Rhodes asked.

"If it were my spaceship, or a spaceship built by my fellow Baltan Aliens, then of course, I could create Zetton," Balt nodded.

Rhodes nodded in response and immediately opened the Baltan Alien's upgrade menu, wanting to see if he could purchase a spaceship for him. Unfortunately, unlike mechanical monsters and regular kaiju, alien species had different upgrade paths—the Baltan Alien didn't come with a spaceship of his own.

Rhodes could only enhance his height and weight slightly. This Baltan Alien could only be upgraded twice in both height and weight, had no beam abilities, and his potential was extremely low—practically a blank slate.

Oh well, he was a scientist, not a fighter.

"What materials do you need? Make a list, or just take whatever useful materials you can find on the ship," Rhodes said.

No idea if the Warhammer universe has the biological research equipment a Baltan Alien needs…

"Master! This spaceship is very advanced. If I make some minor modifications and purchase the necessary biological research equipment, I can begin the creation process," Balt said.

The ship was indeed advanced. He just needed some modifications and additional biological research equipment, and everything would be ready.

"Alright! I'll find a way to get you the research equipment," Rhodes responded.

Looks like I'll have to visit the old apothecary or check out the Dark Eldar's domain. The Warhammer universe only has two factions with the right kind of biological science. For Zetton, anything is worth it.

"Master, the third level of the ship's deck is highly suitable for modification. Please grant me special permission to use that area, along with access to some of the ship's materials," Balt requested.

When he was analyzing the ship's data earlier, he had already chosen his future workspace. The third level was perfect—it was in the center of the ship and right next to the main energy core, making it an ideal location for a laboratory.

"Got it! That area is now officially assigned to you as your laboratory. Feel free to use any materials on the ship—just don't interfere with its ability to fly," Rhodes nodded.

PS: Guys, I will not be enrolling this school year for 1st year college instead I will devote myself on translation hehe. Also I will replace my potato laptop with pc, I feel like the lagging problem slow down my updates.
