Chapter 31 Incitement_2
A fierce Source Power Aura erupted, instantly forming a powerful Source Power Field that enveloped the space around, including the member of the Royal Knights who held the Golden Spear, subjecting him to an extremely terrifying oppressive force.
Elizabeth looked up at Xu Mo with her heart pounding—this was the first time she had felt such a violent Source Power Aura emanating from Xu Mo. In their previous sparring sessions, Xu Mo had never gone all out, always holding back.
But now, he seemed to be angered.
"Boom..."
The frenzied Energy Aura roared, forcing Zack to retreat under its pressure.
Zack's complexion turned ugly as he released a powerful energy from his body, the Golden Spear throbbing with golden Energy Light and vibrating intensely, emitting a humming sound.
"Boom!"
Just at that moment, a wild burst of spiritual power seemed to storm into his mind, causing Zack's head to spin, and at that moment, he only felt that the figure before him was immensely tall, like an insurmountable being.
"What's happening?" Zack's heart thudded in his chest, everything started to blur, and he was oppressed by the spiritual power, unable to fend it off.
"Sssss..." A piercing sound was heard as Xu Mo's sword moved forward, rubbing against Zack's Golden Spear.
The golden Energy Light erupted wildly, and Zack roared as he lunged forward, aiming to drive his spear into Xu Mo's body.
However, he saw a figure moving close to the spear, a sweep of energy coming directly and chopping onto his neck.
"Bang."
With a loud noise, Zack's head twisted, and his body flew backward, his neck appearing crooked as he fell heavily to the ground.
There was silence all around for a moment.
Elizabeth's heart raced, affirming that the teacher was indeed very strong. Even an A-level member of the Royal Knights was no match, and the teacher had overpowered the opposition, resolving the fight with a single stroke of his sword.
Prince Charlie frowned deeply. Who was this person who had shown up out of nowhere?
Could Elizabeth's guard be this powerful?
"The members of the Royal Knights oppress Her Highness with their advantage in Source Power Level; if, as Prince Charlie said, the Princess' Cultivation is meaningless, then wouldn't it mean that the so easily defeated members of the Royal Knights should all be dismissed?" Xu Mo looked at Charlie and asked.
"Impudence!"
Douglas shouted coldly as he lunged forward, his frenzied Energy Aura bursting forth, brimming with a wild intent as it charged straight towards Xu Mo.
Xu Mo stared at Douglas, his eyes beneath the helmet flashing with a cold light. He had yet to settle the account with him regarding the Library incident, and since he had come looking for trouble, Xu Mo would not be polite.
"Boom..." A savage punch flew straight towards Xu Mo.
Xu Mo didn't dodge or shy away; he leaned forward, his sword cutting through the air as frantic energy converged on its blade, and with a loud bang... Douglas felt a tremendous force transfer to his arm, vibrating it. But at that moment, Xu Mo was still advancing, slicing out a second sword strike.
"Bang."
The sword strike was as fast as lightning, and like before, hit Douglas's chin, the powerful force tilting his body and sending him flying backward. Xu Mo did not stop his assault, swinging another sword from above, chopping down onto Douglas's body.
"Boom!"
With a loud crash, Douglas's body slammed into the ground, causing it to tremble.
At this point, Douglas was completely stunned, his head dizzy and his body in severe pain.
"You've got some nerve," said Prince Charlie coldly. Behind him, several members of the Royal Knights stepped forward, their formidable Energy Fields bursting forth, even including the aura of A+ level energy.
"YOU'VE got some nerve!"
Elizabeth stepped forward and angrily scolded the member of the Royal Knights who was unleashing energy, positioning herself in front of Xu Mo.
Xu Mo did not stop her; this was what Elizabeth should do.
If Elizabeth did not stand up at this moment, there would be no need for her training.
The Royal Knight stopped in his tracks, only to see Prince Charles step forward and stare at Xu Mo. Xu Mo spoke, "Protecting the safety of Princess is my duty."
"What is your name?" Prince Charlie asked Xu Mo coldly.
"That's none of your concern," Elizabeth snapped at Charlie, "Take your men and leave."
Charlie moved forward, but Elizabeth took out her Communicator and said to him, "Do you not want Father to know about this?"
She had realized that Charlie had indulged his subordinates in attacking her, even daring to knock her down, and had crossed a line.
Charlie glanced at Elizabeth and said, "Elizabeth, I'm doing this for your own good. However, I didn't expect you to let your people act violently. Father will surely be disappointed. Decide for yourself."
With that, he turned and left, clearly not wanting to escalate the situation, as he was the one who had instigated the incident to suppress Elizabeth.
After Charlie turned around, his eyes suddenly became cold, filled with a trace of murderous intent.
A mere guard daring to ruin his plans.
Watching Charlie's departing figure, Elizabeth put away her Communicator. She didn't tattle, as it would be pointless and make her seem incapable.
"Sir, thank you," Elizabeth said to Xu Mo with a bow, showing genuine respect. If it were not for Xu Mo today, Charlie's oppression might have succeeded, breaking her psychological defense and crushing her confidence.
"Elizabeth, have you considered that what Charlie said is true?" Xu Mo said. "Even if Her Highness cultivates and has the courage of one person, how can she withstand so many talented individuals? The number of powerful Transcendents on Lucas Star is countless, not to mention that Cultivation alone cannot withstand the force of technological weapons, yet there is only one king on Lucas Star."
"Sir..." Elizabeth looked at Xu Mo.
"Previously, I taught Her Highness Cultivation because I was unaware of the situation within the Royal Family. If the Royal siblings were respectful and harmonious, then it would be best for everyone to pursue what they enjoy. But having seen what unfolded tonight, Prince Charlie, as an heir to the Royal Family, has oppressed you so much. What would happen if Prince Charlie were to inherit the throne? What would be the point of Her Highness's strong Cultivation then?"
Xu Mo continued to speak, and naturally, Elizabeth understood his point. She had always worked hard, whether in Cultivation, learning, or winning people's hearts, but she had never truly made up her mind.
Yet, what happened today had profoundly shaken her.
"Your Highness, supreme strategies aim at overcoming the enemy's strategies, not battling with brute force," Xu Mo went on. "From a Cultivation standpoint, Her Highness is by no means inferior; you are already considered a talented Cultivator. In other aspects, despite Your Highness's young age, you have already gathered many people around you, all of them extremely capable. The reason for Your Highness's frustration is only due to age. If Her Highness reaches the age of Prince Charlie, you will surely surpass him. Prince Charlie is suppressing you precisely because he knows how exceptional you are."
Elizabeth had been hit hard by Prince Charlie's actions today, but both the evening's events and Xu Mo's words helped her awaken and reflect deeply.
"What should I do?" Elizabeth asked Xu Mo.
"Be humble and courteous, make connections with excellent individuals from all walks of life, maintain friendly relations with various powers, and even establish certain friendships with the Royal Families of other planets—collaborate for mutual benefit. Next, act more and talk less, and make no mistakes," Xu Mo explained. "There is still plenty of time. The competition isn't about who does more, but who makes fewer mistakes. Those who follow the Way will have more assistance. Should a crisis arise, many will speak on behalf of Your Highness."
"I wish to take you as my teacher, can you teach me?" Elizabeth sincerely hoped to keep Xu Mo by her side.
Xu Mo shook his head and said, "I would prefer to be Your Highness's friend."
"Then may I see who you really are?" Elizabeth asked again.
"When the time comes, Her Highness will naturally know," Xu Mo said. "It's getting late, Your Highness should rest."
After speaking, Xu Mo took his leave.
Elizabeth watched Xu Mo's retreating figure, sighing quietly in her heart; he remained as enigmatic as ever, unwilling to reveal his true face to her.
Xu Mo felt that given Elizabeth's current attitude towards him, even when his identity was revealed, there would be no backlash.
