THE PINNACLE

Chapter 19: CHAPTER 12 : AUSTRIAN GP ARC (PART 3)

The drivers made their way back to their garages, the paddock was abuzz with activity. Reporters and camera crews were swarming around, trying to get a quote or a soundbite from the drivers.

Benjamin Hart was the first to be surrounded by the media, his confident smile and charming personality making him a favorite among the press.

"So, Benjamin, it looks like you're on top of the timesheets again," said one reporter. "Do you think you can keep up this pace for the rest of the weekend?"

Benjamin nodded confidently. "I definitely think so. My car is feeling great, and I'm feeling very comfortable behind the wheel. I'm looking forward to qualifying and seeing what we can do."

Just as Benjamin was finishing up his interview, Pierre Dupont appeared at his side, a scowl on his face.

"I don't think Benjamin's going to have it all his own way this weekend," Pierre said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm feeling very confident about my chances, and I think I can give Benjamin a run for his money."

Benjamin rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots, Pierre. Bring it on."

The media loved the exchange, and soon the two drivers were surrounded by a sea of microphones and cameras.

Meanwhile, Marco Rossi was standing off to the side, watching the exchange between Benjamin and Pierre with a mixture of amusement and annoyance.

"I don't know why those two are always so dramatic," Marco said to a reporter from an Italian newspaper. "I'm just focused on doing my job and getting the best result possible. I don't need to resort to mind games and trash talk to get ahead."

The reporter nodded thoughtfully. "That's a very mature attitude, Marco. Do you think you can use that to your advantage this weekend?"

Marco nodded. "I definitely think so. I've been working hard to fine-tune my setup, and I'm feeling very confident about my chances. I'm just going to focus on doing my job and seeing where it takes me."

Just as Marco was finishing up his interview, Lewis Hammer appeared at his side, a look of intense focus on his face.

"I don't think anyone should be counting me out just yet," Lewis said, his voice low and even. "I've been working hard to overcome my mechanical issues, and I'm feeling very confident about my chances. I'm just going to focus on doing my job and seeing where it takes me."

The media loved the dramatic entrance, and soon Lewis was surrounded by a swarm of reporters and camera crews.

As the paddock continued to buzz with activity, the tension between the drivers was palpable. It was clear that this was going to be a weekend to remember, with drama and excitement lurking around every corner.
