THE PINNACLE

Chapter 17: CHAPTER 10 : AUSTRIAN GP ARC (PART 1)

The pre-race driver conference for the Austrian Grand Prix was being held in a crowded press room at the Red Bull Ring. The room was filled with reporters, photographers, and camera crews, all eager to get a glimpse of the drivers and hear their thoughts on the upcoming race.

Benjamin Hart, Pierre Dupont, and Marco Rossi were seated at the front of the room, along with the other top drivers in the championship. They were all dressed in their team uniforms, looking focused and determined.

Just as the conference was about to begin, a commotion broke out at the back of the room. The doors burst open, and a tall, imposing figure strode in, commanding the attention of everyone in the room.

It was Maximilian Leon, the former Formula X champion, and one of the greatest drivers of all time. Leon was a legend in the sport, known for his aggressive driving style and his ability to push his cars to the limit.

As Leon made his way to the front of the room, Lewis Hammer, the mysterious and elusive driver who had dominated the Monaco Grand Prix, slipped in unnoticed and took a seat at the back of the room.

The moderator, a well-known racing journalist, began the conference.

"Welcome, everyone, to the pre-race driver conference for the Austrian Grand Prix. We have a great lineup of drivers with us today, including our top three drivers in the championship, Benjamin Hart, Pierre Dupont, and Marco Rossi. And joining us as a special guest, we have the one and only Maximilian Leon. Welcome, Max."

Leon nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "Thanks for having me," he said, his voice deep and commanding.

The moderator smiled. "So, let's get started. Our first question comes from the Austrian press. Max, you're a former champion, and you've had a lot of success here at the Red Bull Ring. What advice would you give to our top three drivers in the championship?"

Leon leaned forward, his eyes glinting with intensity. "My advice would be to push themselves to the limit. This track is all about bravery and precision. You need to be willing to take risks and push your car to the edge if you want to win."

Benjamin, Pierre, and Marco all nodded, taking mental notes. They knew that Leon was a master of the Red Bull Ring, and they were eager to learn from him.

A reporter from the French press raised his hand. "Pierre, you've been having a great season so far. What's your strategy for this weekend?"

Pierre smiled confidently. "I'm feeling good about my chances. I've been working hard on my setup, and I think I've found a good balance. I'm going to push hard and try to get on the podium."

Benjamin nodded in agreement. "I think Pierre's got a good shot at it. But I'm not going to make it easy for him. I've been working hard on my own setup, and I think I've found a few tricks that will give me an edge."

Marco Rossi, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "I don't think either of you should count me out. I've been working hard on my car, and I think I've found a few things that will give me an advantage."

Lewis Hammer, who had been observing the proceedings with interest, spoke up for the first time. "I think we're all forgetting one thing. This is a very competitive field, and anyone can win. I'm just going to focus on my own driving and see what happens."

The room erupted into a flurry of questions and answers, with the drivers and Leon fielding queries from the media.

As the conference wore on, the questions got tougher, and the drivers were forced to think on their feet. But they all remained confident and focused, each one determined to come out on top.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the conference came to a close. The drivers stood up, shaking hands and exchanging greetings, before making their way out of the press room.

As they walked away, Leon turned to the moderator and smiled. "I think we've got a great field of drivers this year. It's going to be a very interesting season."

The moderator nodded in agreement. "I couldn't agree more, Max. And I think we're all in for a treat this weekend."
