Rindō skillfully skinned the snake, her eyes flickering mischievously as she glanced at Sui's lower body, licking her lips in a teasing manner, clearly intrigued.

"Hmm, it seems Rindō-senpai has quite a bit of experience," Erina remarked with a tinge of envy, watching Rindō's smooth handling of the snake.

"Naturally," Rindō chuckled, holding the snake's now-skinless body in her hand. Even after being skinned, the creature continued to writhe, still full of life.

"Senpai, it looks like no one would dare be your boyfriend now," Sui commented lightly, coughing as he spoke.

The thought crossed his mind: if he were to accidentally anger her, what if she decided to use her knife skills on him? His life might just end prematurely.

"Hmm? What exactly do you mean by that, Kohai?" Rindō's eyes narrowed slightly, her gaze turning toward Sui with a glint of menace. She glanced at his lower half and added with a dangerous smirk, "Do you want to be skinned too?"

"N-no, it was just a joke, Senpai!" Sui quickly laughed it off, sensing the danger in her words.

"Hmph!" Rindō snorted in response before lowering her head and resuming her work on the snake.

Meanwhile, Erina stood by, not participating, content to observe quietly from the sidelines.

Sui glanced at her, admiring her serious demeanor, but it filled him with an inexplicable unease. He made a mental note not to tease the tsundere girl too often in the future—it might backfire one day.

Around them, the rest of the class had started working on their own ingredients. Yoshino was attempting to handle a slippery catfish. The fish was slimy and strong, making it impossible for her to keep hold of it. The catfish's tail repeatedly slapped her in the face, leaving her covered in sticky mucus, much to the amusement of those watching.

Ryoko had chosen an eel. The eel, equally slippery, slipped from her grasp and quickly slithered under the kitchen counter. Flustered, Ryoko dropped to her knees, trying to retrieve it. From Sui's angle, he caught a glimpse of her pink underwear through her slightly open collar, and couldn't help but notice her voluptuous figure.

On the other side, Erina had also chosen eel. Despite its attempts to escape, Erina managed to grab it firmly, holding the wriggling creature with a steady grip.

"Erina, you're incredible!" Ryoko exclaimed in admiration.

Erina's cheeks flushed slightly in response to the compliment, though she maintained her composure.

Sui, meanwhile, decided to handle a stonefish. Known for its poisonous spines and tough skin, it was one of the most challenging ingredients to prepare.

Donning thick gloves, he took out his prized kitchen knife, Cinderella, and got ready to begin.

As soon as Sui revealed the knife, it caught everyone's attention. Its gleaming blade emitted a faint chill, and its craftsmanship was extraordinary—clearly a high-quality tool.

"Kohai, that's quite the impressive knife you've got there," Rindō commented, her eyes lighting up with interest as she finished dealing with her snake. She patted Sui on the shoulder with a sly smile.

Sui rolled his eyes, already knowing what she was about to ask. Without even waiting for her to speak, he responded flatly, "No."

"Hmph! You're so stingy!" Rindō pouted, tugging at Sui's cheek in mock frustration.

Sōmei Saitō, who had also noticed the knife, approached and asked, "Is this the knife you mentioned last time? The one you were talking about when we were in Hokkaido? May I take a look?"

"Of course," Sui smiled, handing the Cinderella knife to him.

Saitō

examined the blade under the light, visibly impressed. "This is truly a masterpiece! The material, the forging technique, and even the pattern—it's all top-notch. It's even better than my Isanakiri."

"Isanakiri? Is that your kitchen knife, senpai?" Sui inquired.

"That's right," Saitō

nodded, handing his own knife to Sui.

Saitō's knife looked somewhat like a samurai sword, but the blade was wider and designed specifically for kitchen use.

"Take good care of your knife. It's a treasure," Saitō said, patting Sui on the shoulder as he reluctantly returned the Cinderella knife.

"I will, senpai," Sui nodded.

Once their conversation ended, Sui focused on the stonefish. As soon as his knife touched the fish, a voice echoed in his head—his system had activated.

"The host has used the Cinderella knife to process over a hundred ingredients, unlocking the hidden attribute: Dexterity."

Dexterity: Increases food processing proficiency by 50%.

"Huh?" Sui was surprised. "Do knives have hidden attributes? I thought it only had two main ones: Sharpness and Durability."

"Yes, each knife the system gives possesses hidden attributes," the system explained, "but they need to be unlocked by using the knife on a sufficient number of ingredients."

"I see," Sui nodded. The Cinderella knife, being small and agile, had become his go-to tool, unlike the larger chopping knives he rarely had the chance to use.

He started working on the stonefish, and thanks to the newfound dexterity, the task felt much smoother and quicker than before. With his enhanced control from the dragon cells and the added dexterity, he made swift work of the difficult ingredient.

In no time, the stonefish was fully processed.

As Sui straightened up, he noticed Rindō standing nearby, watching him in a daze.

"Kohai, I had no idea your knife skills were so impressive!" Rindō clapped him on the shoulder, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

She had been watching Sui the entire time as he skillfully handled the stonefish. His fluid, graceful technique had mesmerized her. She had always thought Sui's talents were limited to cooking, but his knife skills were on a whole other level—even better than hers!

Her gaze then shifted toward Sui's Cinderella knife, her thoughts clearly preoccupied with the idea of getting her hands on it.

Sui shot her a wary glance, feeling that Rindō-senpai was up to something.

Sure enough, in the next moment, she grinned mischievously.

"Hey, Kohai, if I marry you, will you give me that kitchen knife as a wedding gift?" she teased, her voice playful yet serious.

Sui tilted his head, considering the proposal. Trading his Cinderella knife for Rindō? Now that was an interesting offer!
