As Rindō casually reached into Sui's pocket to search for candy, Sui sighed helplessly and glanced at her. She claimed to miss him every day, but it was clear she was really just after his stash of candy.

"Why is there so little?" Rindō grumbled in dissatisfaction, having found only a small bag of candy. Still, undeterred, she started reaching for his trouser pocket.

"Ahem, Senpai, your hands are quite inappropriate," Erina interjected, unable to bear it any longer.

"Oh, Erina-chan, are you getting jealous? Don't worry, I wouldn't touch anywhere 'inappropriate'," Rindō said teasingly, her grin revealing two sharp little canine teeth. With a mischievous glint in her eye, her hand playfully moved towards a more sensitive area of Sui's body, as if testing the waters.

Sui's forehead was now lined with worry, and he cleared his throat. "Senpai, that's enough. There's no more candy left."

"Hehehe!" Rindō laughed, finally withdrawing her hand. She quickly unwrapped one of the candies and popped it into her mouth, satisfied.

"Hehe, can I have some?" Yoshino chimed in, sticking her tongue out playfully.

"I want one too!" Ryoko added with a smirk.

"No problem, help yourselves!" Rindō generously offered, sharing the candy she had 'acquired' from Sui.

Before long, the entire batch of candy had been distributed among the group.

"Technically, that was stolen," Sui muttered under his breath.

"Stolen? This is my rightful treasure!" Rindō protested, pulling on Sui's cheek in mock annoyance, her breath tinged with the sweet scent of candy.

"You definitely stole it from me," Sui retorted, barely loud enough to hear.

"Hmph!" Rindō, clearly annoyed, swiftly swept Sui's legs from under him, sending him crashing to the ground. In an instant, her long, toned legs clamped around his neck like scissors, pinning him down while she held one of his arms.

Sui struggled for breath, his face turning towards her and catching a glimpse of the white panties that Rindō-senpai happened to be wearing that day.

"Hehe, so, kohai, do you admit you were wrong?" Rindō asked, yanking his arm playfully but with authority.

"Ahem... I—I admit it, I was wrong," Sui gasped, barely able to get the words out.

Rindō nodded in satisfaction and released him from her hold. Sui sat up, rubbing his neck and muttering under his breath, "Didn't expect her to be wearing white today."

"Hm? What did you just say, Kohai?" Rindō narrowed her eyes, a dangerous edge in her voice.

"Nothing at all," Sui quickly replied, not daring to push his luck.

At that moment, Chapelle began speaking at the front of the class. "Today's lesson will focus on handling difficult ingredients. The methods for each are listed on the board."

Sui turned to see detailed instructions on how to prepare various challenging ingredients like pufferfish, giant salamander, eel, and others. Each had its own complications, with pufferfish requiring precision due to its toxins, and giant salamander being difficult to handle because of its size and slimy surface. Eels and catfish, too, posed a challenge with their slippery skin.

"The task is simple," Chapelle continued. "Each of you must process one ingredient and demonstrate your knife skills. Naturally, the standards will vary by grade."

"One ingredient per person?" Megumi's face went pale with fear.

"You've got this, Megumi! You handled that tricky monkfish during the autumn selection, right? You can do it!" Sui encouraged her.

Megumi nodded determinedly, feeling more confident after his reassurance.

"By the way, isn't Saitō

-senpai known for his swordsmanship?" Erina asked, glancing at Saitō

, who stood nearby with an imposing sword slung across his back.

"Yeah, that's right," Ryoko chimed in. "They say Saitō

-senpai's knife skills are the best among the Elite Ten."

"Not necessarily! I'm pretty skilled too!" Rindō suddenly laughed, flashing her sharp canines again.

"Really? Senpai, you're good at knives too?" Sōma asked, surprised. He had always known Rindō as a lively and outgoing girl, not someone focused on knife techniques.

"Why? You want to find out?" Rindō narrowed her eyes, her playful tone laced with a hint of danger.

"Any ingredient that enters Rindō-senpai's kitchen ends up with the same fate," Erina teased softly. "After all, her kitchen is filled with rare, wild ingredients that are notoriously difficult to work with."

With that, the class began. Everyone selected their ingredients and got to work.

Rindō's choice of ingredient was a snake. Even though it was farmed, the sight of the snake still made many of the students uneasy.

"Wow, leave it to a third-year to pick something like that," Yoshino murmured, trembling alongside Ryoko as they watched Rindō prepare the snake.

Erina's cheeks paled at the sight as well, and she instinctively moved behind Sui for cover. It was clear that most of the girls had a natural aversion to snakes.

Rindō then unveiled a selection of kitchen knives, each of varying sizes and blades, clearly designed for specific tasks.

"The fate of any ingredient in my kitchen is already sealed," Rindō declared with a sly smile. In one fluid motion, she gutted the snake, skinned it with ease, and decapitated it, her knife work as precise as a surgeon's.

The scene was bloody, and it left everyone feeling a bit unsettled. Especially Sui, who couldn't help but feel a sudden chill in his lower body as he watched Rindō's swift, clinical precision. His thoughts flashed back to the moment Erina had playfully bitten him the night before.

Compared to Erina, Rindō was definitely far more terrifying. If she ever got upset with him... well, Sui didn't want to imagine what would happen.
