The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 950 950: New Ally- A Servant Beast

Cassie contemplated for a moment. She didn't know if this was a good idea to form a bond with the giant spider beast.

"Hmm. What will you do for me so that I will take you in?" Cassie asked the Spider beast, testing its loyalty.

Meanwhile, the spider beast was truly determined to make her master. It was seldom for someone to spare the life of a beast like him.

He had been living in the dark forest for thousands of years. He witnessed how his fellow beasts were killed by the outsiders. Some people were merciless toward a beast like him.

'I will stop his bleeding using my spider web! My silk thread can be useful for his wound.' The spider beast shifted his gaze to Flint. He was aware that Flint was wounded and Cassie was doing her best to protect him.

Cassie's eyes lit up when she heard that. "Are you sure? Can you stop his bleeding using your silk thread?"

'Yes. I can.' The giant spider beast continued communicating with her through her subconscious.

'Bring him here. Since I can't walk. It will take time before my new legs grow.' The spider beast said. Cassie burned his two legs on the rear side.

"If you dare deceive me and hurt Flint, I will cut your throat immediately," Cassie warned the spider.

'No! I won't hurt him. I promise.'

Cassie immediately took Flint, bringing him closer to the spider beast. It seemed that Scarlet was still fighting the three-headed serpent. She hadn't come back yet after luring the serpent away from Flint and Cassie.

When Flint got near the spider beast, he released a silk thread from the tip of his abdomen. He cast it to Flint's wound, wrapping it. He put another layer of silk thread and Flint's wound suddenly stopped bleeding.

"Oh my Gosh! It worked!" Cassie felt so glad since the spider's silk thread helped in stopping Flint from losing more blood.

'I've done my part, Master. Now accept me as one of your servant beasts. Please make a bond with me. I will swear my loyalty to you and I will serve you well,' the spider continued negotiating and convincing Cassie.

"Okay. I'll accept you and become your master!" Cassie was grateful to the spider beast. She had no reason to reject him. The spider beast helped Flint. That was enough for her to accept him.

'Now, drop your blood in my mark. It will serve as our binding contract. I will be yours… your servant!'

Cassie followed his instruction. She poked the tip of her finger using her dagger and dropped her blood on the spider's forehead where the mark was located. After doing that, the two of them were surrounded by lights. The same mark appeared on Cassie's right palm. The spider beast shrunk and it entered her body. The mark on her right palm absorbed the spider beast.

'Master, I will be resting for a while. I need to heal myself. If you need me, you can summon me anytime.' The spider beast said goodbye to Cassie in the meantime.

"What had just happened?" Flint asked Cassie. The spider silk thread somehow revitalized Flint's energy. He was not in pain anymore.

Cassie pounced on him and hugged him. "How do you feel?" she asked him after drawing back.

"I'm feeling okay." Flint was still confused about what happened. He lowered his gaze, his eyes scanning his stomach. It was wrapped in white silk thread. It came from the spider beast.

"Good. Now, we just have to wait for Scarlet to continue our journey." Cassie cheerfully said. She felt at ease now. She thought Flint would be in danger of losing more blood. Fortunately, the spider beast offered them some help.

"Are you not going to help, Scarlet? Her opponent looks powerful. This is my first time seeing a three-headed serpent in real life. I only see this in movies or books." Flint expressed his thoughts to Cassie.

Cassie let out a soft giggle and said, "This is also my first time seeing the real beasts… both a giant spider and a three-headed serpent. But don't worry. Scarlet's dragon form is more powerful than the three-headed serpent. She will come back victorious!" Cassie reassured Flint.

Flint just nodded his head. "This is also my first time seeing Scarlet's dragon form. She is scary, yet amazing."

Cassie bobbed her head. "Don't be afraid. She is on our side. She will protect both of us!"

"How about the giant spider? What happened to it?" Flint threw her another question. He couldn't get over this. He felt like this was just a dream. How could those beasts exist?

"It became our ally!" Cassie winked at him.

Flint just blinked several times. He couldn't believe that she could make the beast an ally. "How about the three-headed serpent? Are you going to make it an ally as well?"

Cassie paused for a moment, rubbing her chin. "Hmm. It depends. Why? Do you want it to be your pet? I will make it yours." Cassie consulted Flint.

Flint looked at her with disbelief. There was no way he would like to make the serpent his pet.

"No. The serpent is still a giant snake. It might betray us. It's in the nature of snakes to betray people."

"Alright. I'm just kidding. Don't be afraid anymore." Cassie patted Flint's shoulder.

"I'm not scared…" Flint denied it.

"Okay! Okay! I stand corrected. You are not afraid." Cassie just played along with Flint.

It did not take long before Scarlet showed up. She was now back in her fire fox form. "Master! I'm sorry for making you wait. I'm back!"

"How is it?" Flint asked her curiously. He was asking her about the fight between the dragon and the serpent.

"I knocked it down. Why?" Scarlet asked him innocently.

"Nothing. I'm just curious about what happened with your fight."

Scarlet raised her head, feeling so proud and confident. "Of course, I won!"

Cassie could only smile while watching Scarlet and Flint. They could now continue their journey.

'Thanks, God… Flint is safe and alive. I guess… I have to fulfill my promise once we get out of this sacred place.' Cassie was smiling but her eyes looked so sad.
