Tensura: The First Reason

Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Chapter 11.

Disclaimer: We own nothing. This is merely our own interpretation.

Blessings.

Certainly different from Ultimate Gifts, a certain being that in the so distant future would grant to their subordinates.

Blessings, however, are a form of acknowledgment, titles or gifts from the Creator.

They are those who have been favoured by the now redundant almighty.

Redundant he may be, still the blessings from him are still considered absolute, as the Creator though redundant, he is still a Divine Entity who created the World.

Yes. For example, a blessing like True Ancestor. The owner of this blessing has been granted authority over vampire races.

That is to say. Those under the Vampire lineage would never escape their binding to the one titled and blessed as the True Ancestor.

With a blur, the scene changes to the Heavenly Star Palace. The starting point of creation.

Originally, it had just been a normal day—false. To say it was normal couldn't have been more wrong.

Surely, beings like Veldanava and even Twilight with millennia of accumulation of power could definitely sense the spike of Magicules coming from the Cardinal World.

Also, as if to make it pronounced the Voice of The World had announced such.

[Notice: Harvest Festival—]

Twilight and Veldanava who had been discussing plans had suddenly come to a stop as both blinked when the Voice of The World announced that.

"Veldanava… by what means, what is a Demon Lord?"

With a calm voice, Twilight slowly turned to his creator as he asked that with a calm yet piercing gaze.

"Demon Lord… was there ever a setting like that? Rather, did I ever come up with a setting like that, hmm?"

Veldanava under Twilight's piercing gaze turned his head away from his perfect creation. Did he ever create a setting like such?

He knew he had gone ham when he was creating the World but certainly, he understood why Twilight was like that.

It certainly wasn't because of the red Primordial that was summoned from the underworld, but a more troublesome one.

"Of all people to become a Demon Lord. Dawn, huh? But hey, on the bright side…"

Veldanava began, his voice casual, almost flippant.

Then, the creator then forced a grin as he turned towards Twilight. "You could always become one too, eh? Twilight?"

Of course, Veldanava attempted to steer his words away from the focus being Dawn to Twilight, however, his creation had long become too smart for that.

Twilight didn't take the bait. If anything, it only made the so-called "perfect creation" narrow his eyes at his creator.

"Does Veldanava-sama really believe I do really need to become a Demon Lord?"

Twilight's gaze was unchanging, but his words made the creator gulp. Of course, it would be a fool's words to say Veldanava was intimidated.

Still, the Creator couldn't help but stiffen under Twilight's gaze, a bead of sweat threatening to form despite himself.

Rather, it was like what Twilight had felt when he knew Veldanava had witnessed Jazil's empire "actions".

Under no circumstances should the creator have felt the littlest of embarrassment, but the creator felt such at this moment.

Perhaps, it was because he wasn't [Almighty] anymore.

"Of course, I certainly didn't think this would eventually lead to an awakening, should I have known, I'd have sent Luminous instead."

Twilight said as he then lay back, it was naturally impervious of him to act like that to his creator.

Yet, Twilight couldn't help but feel a headache coming, as he shook his head.

Seeing that, Veldanava couldn't help but ask, "That-Twilight, do you… hate Dawn?"

Originally, most of what Dawn is made of was originally what would have been the Original Twilight.

Luminous was a shard of the three of them at best.

"Hah? Hate?" Twilight blinked as he shook his head. "Far from it."

"Rather. That's a harsh word, in the end, he's something like my alter-ego you know, rather, it's the opposite, they refer to me as father, so at least I want to believe I'm doing the bare minimum…"

He hesitated, his lips pressing into a thin line. "But…"

But even though he said that, the current Twilight had never been a father, so he wouldn't know.

Heck, at this point, his previous life was even more foreign after spending millennia in this world.

He was as clueless as one could be when it comes to things outside "research."

"Hmmm…."

But if Twilight was to say a few things about Dawn.

"It's just that… Dawn's nature is naturally chaotic. I can't begin to believe what that guy powered up by your blessings would grow to become."

It was be this.

Twilight himself shivered slightly at the thought, but at this moment, Twilight failed to see the looks his creator was giving him.

Yes. In contrast to the expression Twilight had for Dawn, Twilight himself was receiving that very same expression from his creator—Veldanava.

'You are the oddest of them all, you know. And you're certainly putting all the potential I gave you to good use.'

But yes, Veldanava had thought of this with a smile as his shoulders relaxed, hanging loose.

And yet, as that silence came. It went as quickly as it had arrived.

"Harvest festival was it?"

Twilight spoke up once more as he locked his gaze with Veldanava with the creator nodding in acknowledgement.

"So, it's some kind of nourishment using souls? So that thing is called a Demon Lord's seed? I see, it's just like a plant, but the water to germinate it is souls instead. Not a bad concept."

With his hands on his chin, Twilight made such a speculation.

Hearing this from his creation, the corner of Veldanava's lips twitched upward. "You really did study, didn't you?"

But really, it seemed like the situation was getting a little bit out of hand. With the High-humans, Vampires, and the new Demon Lord Species.

Suddenly, there are a lot of things for the Creator and Divine Ancestor to consider.

"The Red Primordial can be taken care of, but…."

"Dawn, huh…."

Silence stretched between them once more. As both of them oddly felt a weight upon their

With the little Veldanava had known of Dawn, Twilight said his attribute was Chaos couldn't be more correct.

Surely. The red who had been alive since the dawn of creation would be easier to talk to.

"We do this. You give him a title that restrains him, how about that?"

Veldanava's eyes slowly widened at Twilight's suggestion, but certainly, it was a brilliant idea indeed.

But in the moment Veldanava had agreed. Something caught their attention.

Like the previous spike they had sensed before, they once again sensed a spike.

"Huh? Huhhh?"

Twilight let out such a noise as his eyes glowed, he stared straight at the wall, but in truth his eyes could see beyond the walls… the boundaries of the Star palace.

"Two… no, three more Primordials!?"

"... Hmm. I suddenly feel this is becoming somewhat problematic."

"Somewhat?" Twilight looked back to his creator almost exasperated. "No, no, this is definitely problematic. If we don't intervene, those three could level the world flat before nighttime!"

"Alright. With me Twilight."

"Yes."

With no hesitation, Veldanava and Twilight prepared themselves to head toward the disturbance.

Of course, with an energy spike of this magnitude, leaving things unattended wasn't an option.

A flash of starry black that enveloped the two, and their locations changed. They arrived at their destination in what could be said to have been in the blink of an eye.

Perhaps, to say a blink of an eye is an understatement. But yes. They had basically appeared here in "zero time."

North. Cardinal World.

What would formerly be known as Jahil's Empire, which he had watched grow into the prosperous empire it would have been minutes before, was now left in nothing but rubble and dyed in red.

Sure enough, this was no doubt the Red Primordial's handiwork. Of course, it was their fault for summoning one they couldn't handle.

However, at this point, it didn't matter.

In the end, while Jazil's was more of a punishment Twilight saw fit for them, Jahil's was more of a collateral due to summoning the Red.

"Fuu."

Veldanava let out a soft sigh taking in the sights.

Certainly, they weren't the best of humans, but certainly, they lived up to expectations, though this was later betrayed, which may have been expected by him.

However, because of them, he now saw hope for the future.

BOOOM!

Of course, that's if those two weren't quick to try to destroy themselves.

With a casual flash of red. What looked to be a mountain in the far distance was reduced to the ground with black smoke rising up.

BOOOM!

Another cataclysmic echo resounded the world, the ground and sky tearing into desecration as both Veldanava and Twilight couldn't help but stare in silence for a moment.

Apocalypse, yes.

What does one expect with two Demon Lords and three Demon Peers duking it out even if this was a casual fight between themselves?

Hence…

Did Veldanava and Twilight care if the two destroyed themselves?

Not as much as one would think, but damaging the ecosystem of the cardinal world was unforgivable!

But seriously, how did this escalate into this?
