Chapter 363: The Boring Truth
Alister gave her an unimpressed look. "And, pray tell, what made you come to that conclusion?"
Miyu placed a hand on her hip and leaned slightly toward him. "What? Are you really going to ask me that? I haven't even been here a month, and one thing I know for sure is that you, mister, have no hobbies."
"I have hob—" Alister started to protest.
"—Besides clearing dungeons and training," Miyu interrupted, crossing her arms with a victorious smirk.
Alister's mouth closed, and an awkward silence fell between them.
Miyu took full advantage of his silence, wagging her finger at him. "You see? You're basically a boring guy. Except maybe for your looks and strength. All you ever do is train, clear dungeons, and… well, maybe eat."
Mar'Garet and Cinder exchanged glances.
Cinder cleared her throat softly. "To be fair, Lady Miyu, my lord is very focused on his goals."
Mar'Garet also spoke with a proud smile. "Indeed. My darling is simply dedicated."
Miyu rolled her eyes, smiling teasingly. "Dedicated or not, it wouldn't kill him to lighten up a little. Come on, big bro, live a little! Let's make today fun."
Alister hesitated for a moment before nodding at Miyu's enthusiastic suggestion.
"Fine, we'll do something today," he said, his tone calm but with a hint of amusement.
Miyu's eyes lit up, and she was about to cheer when Alister quickly said, "But not right now. I have business to discuss with the Guildmaster. We'll head out later tonight."
Miyu pouted for a split second before breaking into a grin. "Nighttime outings are the best anyway! Cool, big bro! See you later then!" She waved energetically before turning on her heel and leaving, her silver hair catching the light as she left.
As the echoes of her cheerful footsteps faded, Cinder smiled softly. "Lady Miyu is truly lovely and sweet," she remarked with a touch of admiration.

Mar'Garet giggled, her crimson eyes sparkling softly with warmth. "She is indeed. Quite the lively little sister you have, darling."
Alister sighed, gesturing for the two of them to follow him. "Both of you, let's go. We have much to do."
The trio moved through the bustling guild halls, Alister walking ahead with Cinder and Mar'Garet flanking him. As they walked, Alister's mind began to wander.
'Do I really have no hobbies?'
He thought, glancing down at his hands as memories from his past surfaced.
'There was never any time to simply sit back and take things easy. It was always the pressure to save her or the endless drive to get stronger. Even back at the academy…'
His thoughts lingered on his rigorous training schedule.
'All I ever did was train. That was how I stayed at the top.'
Mar'Garet's voice broke through his reverie. "Darling, are you alright?" she asked, tilting her head as she gazed at him. "You seem lost in thought."
Cinder spoke as well, sounding concerned. "Indeed, my lord. If there's something troubling you, we're here to help. You can share anything with us."
Alister exhaled deeply, shaking his head. "I'm fine," he replied, his tone firm. "Let's focus on the matter at hand. The Guildmaster is expecting us."
The two women exchanged a glance but said nothing further.
As they continued walking, Alister's thoughts remained troubled, the question of his hobbies, or lack thereof, nagging at him.
Yet, he pushed it aside, focusing instead on the task ahead.
...
Alister approached the grand door leading to Yuuto's office. The sleek, metallic surface shimmered faintly under the overhead lights, and with a firm knock, he waited for a response.
"Come in," Yuuto's voice called out from within.
The mechanical doors slid open with a soft hiss, revealing the Guildmaster'office bathed in warm golden sun light coming from the massive window behind the desk of the office.
Just a few steps in, Yuuto knelt on one knee, Dressed in his silver-white and blue guild uniform. His head was bowed respectfully.
"I pay my respects to the young lord," Yuuto said.
Alister's golden eyes softened slightly as he gestured with a hand. "You may rise."
Yuuto stood gracefully, meeting Alister's gaze with a small, respectful yet mischievous smile. "So, my lord, are you ready?"
Alister tilted his head slightly, a smirk forming on his lips. "Ready?" he repeated with a touch of amusement.
Before Yuuto could respond, Alister's body became enveloped in a radiant, golden light. The brilliance surged around him, illuminating the room.
In the next instant, his form changed. Large, majestic wings unfurled behind him, his white tail grew out instantly. He had changed into his dragon combat form, standing taller, his voice now deeper and commanding.
"I was born ready,"
He extended his hand toward the left side of the room, and with a simple motion, a yellow portal began to materialize. The swirling energy of the portal cast a warm glow, contrasting against the cool tones of the office.
"Come now..."
"We must make it back by nightfall. I've already made a promise to my sweet little sister, and I do not intend to break it." Alister said, his gaze steady as he glanced at Yuuto.
Yuuto smiled slightly, bowing his head once more. "As you command, my lord."
His thoughts silently racing, 'So this is how he used to step out of the Megacity to train and feed the others, I've always been curious but never bothered to ask. Seems like very complex magic, as expacted of the young lord.'
Without pausing, Alister stepped toward the portal, his wings folding slightly as he prepared to enter.
Yuuto followed closely as his form bagen to change as well, his horns emerging, his tail growing out as his hight grew to match Alister's, his steps confident.
As Alister and Yuuto stepped through the golden portal, its radiant light gave way to the desolate surroundings of the abandoned dragon city ruins.
The place he had made his deal with Quinton previously.
The morning sun hanging in the sky.
Alister's voice then rang out, deep and echoing through the ruins, his eyes glowing brightly in his scaled face.
"My dragons, come forth!"
