Supreme Lord: I can extract everything!

Chapter 1111: Rise of a New Era III

It felt a little weird to build a massive palisade around the settlement when there was not yet a single building to protect. Thousands of tents had been erected in no time. Enjoy new adventures from NovelBin.Côm

Tiara and the Silverfangs might have the resources to build all necessary structures to create a properly working settlement, but it wasn’t like they had enough space to store hundreds if not more than a thousand buildings, in their War Rune storages. That was also why they ended up building only the most important structures in the Origin Expanse before they stored them in the War Rune storages. They retrieved them to establish the smithy, a stone quarry, an infirmary, and so forth as quickly as possible.

There was no need for them to rush into anything, but the Silverfang Tigerfolk wanted to push their development past the Bronze Age on day two. They wanted to be on the same level as the Tritan Alliance within a few months.

That wasn’t going to be easy, but they had the means. It was only a matter of effort, teamwork, and a trace of luck needed to finish everything.

"Did you finish measuring the settlement?" Tiara asked a young Silverfang, who had been running around with his 1-Star Soultrait, [Number Genius]. Michael had offered to remove the Soultrait Symbol, but the young Silverfang embraced his Soultrait. It was only a 1-Star Soultrait and already had the ’Genius’ term in its name. Maybe it would evolve into a more powerful Soultrait in the future, which could then be fused with another Soultrait…or act as the foundation of other Soultraits that required calculations.

The young Awakened nodded, but he tilted his head at some point, "Some measurements are a little bit odd, like the mana density, but that is probably owed to the natural treasures underground. It could also be because of some underground monsters. We might have to pay more attention to the measurements in the near future, Your Highness."

The Silverfang bowed deeply toward Tiara, who ruffled through the kid’s hair, "Don’t be so stiff. I am still the same woman as before, even though I am now officially your Queen. You’re still the same annoying brat."

The kid stiffened for a moment but raised his upper body again and smiled shyly.

"Tell Master Tigris about your discovery and help him expand the defense system. We need to be prepared for the worst-case scenario, though I don’t think anything bad will happen," Tiara said, still smiling, "I think we’re living on a great star. Tiagro will be our greatest fortune!"

The young Silverfang nodded vigorously and disappeared behind a few tents.

Tiara smiled at that but turned around quickly, her expression furrowed.

"The sightlines around the settlement are clear. There shouldn’t be anything to worry about with discovering avian monsters and land-based monsters early on. But underground…that sounds like a hassle," She scratched the back of her head but nodded again as if to reassure herself, "Master Tigris will install more defensive measurements, and he’s smart enough to configure the radars as well. The defense shouldn’t be an issue. None of my subjects will die here!"

Tiara cleared her mind and moved onward. Now that the defense had been taken care of and a location to establish the settlement had been chosen, she could take care of the next point on her to-do list: the food supply.

Since the settlement’s survival depended on a steady food source, Tiara had to take care of that soon enough. Of course, the Origin Expanse would become their best source of food in the future, but Tiara wanted to leave the option to supply their needs with goods on Tiagro open. If Caesus was too slow to produce food for them, they would have to take care of that issue on their own…or ask Michael.

The latter was still an option, but Tiara would much rather take care of that issue on her own rather than request aid from Michael a few weeks after leaving him. Michael prepared enough food for the Silverfang Tigerfolk to last two months. Their War Rune Storages were filled to the brim with delicacies – food that was not only rich in mana, but also nutrients, and other useful properties(including illness-repelling properties)

She didn’t want to be a loser before Michael. Thus, it was time to deal with the food supply.

"Should we first clear land for farming and then plant wheat and barley crops? No, we need to analyze the soil first and find out what season it is. We also need to find out more about Tiagro’s seasons. Maybe it has more or different seasons as the Origin Expanse," Tiara mumbled, "That is a bit troublesome. We might not be able to start with farming until we’ve analyzed everything of importance. Or we do it nonetheless and try our best to adapt to the situation, but that isn’t ideal."

There was also the possibility of establishing livestock farms for meat, milk, wool, and the like. There were more than enough monsters in the vicinity, but they didn’t have the means to feed them just yet. Or they would have to feed them with the resources prepared by Michael and have less for themselves to use.

"We can start hunting and fishing. That leaves more important facilities to construct to preserve everything. Granaries are the easiest to build for the foods we want to preserve, and we can use the emergency energy-fueled fridges and freezers for medicine and the like…"

Tiara nodded slowly. The conditions weren’t perfect, given that they lacked knowledge and understanding of Tiagro and their current location, but Legion would solve some issues by researching the mountain range and sea. If there were some massive monsters that could be hunted, they shouldn’t have any issues feeding 14,000 Silverfangs.

Tiara forwarded a few commands and moved on to the next step on her to-do list.

It was not yet late in the day. Therefore, they could start building the most basic infrastructure. Some more complex structures had already been pre-manufactured and placed once the palisades were anchored in the ground, but the basics had to be constructed first.

Tiara joined the construction, though she struggled a lot.

She was great at commanding, planning, and, most importantly, fighting, but she wasn’t good at building things.

Destruction was her fort, not creation.
