Supreme Lord: I can extract everything!

Chapter 1110: Rise of a New Era II

"So…what’s the grand plan?" Legion tapped his feet impatiently as he looked around. He tried to tone down his voice, but the excitement filling his entire being was too much. He could hardly control himself at this point.

He looked left and right but didn’t see anything amiss. At the horizon in the north, he could pinpoint a forest with mostly white trees and golden leaves. South was a small elevation leading up to a massive mountain range. The mountain range attracted Legion because he saw several monsters climbing it—they had to be massive for him to pinpoint them from his location, yet Tiara didn’t allow him to leave the others behind and go hunt.

Other than the mountain range, a large sea, maybe even an ocean, connected the forest and the mountain range in the west, whereas the east was a massive plains region.

"First, we must pick a proper location to establish the town. It needs to be big enough to expand into a city and maybe even the capital of our kingdom," Tiara murmured.

It had only been a few hours since Michael brought them to Tiagro, a medium-sized planet in a small planetary system, in a backwater galaxy, yet everyone was already nervous. Everyone knew what they had to do since everyone had been given multiple tasks to complete in the first few days of their arrival, but nobody had moved away from their current location.

Instead, they gathered and emptied their War Rune storages to double, triple, and quadruple-check if everything they needed was there. It was only obvious, but they didn’t forget anything important. Even if they did, they could enter the Origin Expanse, anchor in Tiagro, and get what they’d forgotten.

"The location is crucial. We need a water source for drinking, farming, and possibly even transportation. The latter is not crucial in the early stages of our development, but it will be necessary in a few centuries. The sea, or ocean over there, seems like a good source for transportation and probably fishing. We have purification stones to put into barrels and purify contaminated water sources as well. That being said, the sea shouldn’t be an ocean. If it is an ocean, we can procure everything necessary to transform the salty ocean into drinkable water," An elderly Silverfang, Elder Tigris, clarified.

It should have been simple, but this was different from the Origin Expanse. Their future progress depended on this decision.

"The plains should be fertile enough for agriculture. We shouldn’t have a problem procuring food in the near future, though I hope Caesus won’t have many issues finding a suitable piece of land in the Origin Expanse. It would be best if we could feed our children mana-rich food. They will grow up much better, and more children will manifest a War Rune."

Tiara nodded slowly. She couldn’t tell how fast her brother would be, but she trusted him. No matter how much she hated him, Tiara knew that he would keep his word. He would much rather die than be the reason his people starved to death. There might still be some problems between them, but they could solve everything in the near future.

"We can procure wood, stone, and different metals from the mountain range and the woods as well. The mountain range and woods might be a little bit far apart, but we have many High Awakened with speed-boosting Soultraits. In the worst case, they can transform into their Animus shape and have some fun traveling across the plains. Their War Rune storages will be more than enough to store lots of wood and stone. As for the ores that can be found in the mountain range…the future will tell us."

"That means we already have the resources to expand the town with more buildings and tools and to construct various defenses. The only problem is…" Legion tilted his head, "We have little to no natural protection. The mountain range and ocean can protect us from two sides, but the mountain range has massive monsters, and we don’t know much about the dangers of the water. There might be an Ocean Dragon or something along those lines."

Tiara raised an eyebrow, "There is no Divine Beast on Tiagro or the entire planetary system, as a matter of fact. Michael scanned the entire planet while Kaleb quadruple-checked everything. It old him that won’t be necessary, but who am I to tell him what to do."

Master Tigris sighed deeply, "Who are you to tell him what he’s supposed to do? Well, you are the woman he loves."

"I don’t love him and never will!" Tiara hissed, but she turned around and nibbled on her lower lip a moment later. She had no time for a romantic fairytale. There was no time for love. Not right now, at least.

"Just think about it and tell him how you truly feel when you’re ready," Master Tigris added, "Your excellency."

Tiara was about to say something but shook her head.

"We’re going to settle down here. Michael and…Kaleb…picked a good starting position for our new home. For the New Era of the Silverfangs Tigerfolk!"

"They sure did," Legion nodded, "The energy density here is excellent, and we have everything we need nearby. They did a great job."

He cleared his throat, "Kaleb is such a nice guy…"

"Shut up and get to work! Search the water for dangers and check the monsters in the mountain range," Tiara hissed. Your next journey awaits at NovelBin.Côm

"But-..."

"NOW!"

"Yes, Your Highness…"

"Do you have something else to say, Master Tigris?!" Tiara’s head flicked to the old Silverfang, who snickered in response.

"I know you will do fine. Let’s make sure we have everything we need to defend those who can’t protect themselves. Constructing the settlement will take a while, but we should have no problem erecting the defenses you and Michael’s subjects prepared before the departure."

Tiara nodded slowly, half-relieved that Master Tigris didn’t mention anything about Kaleb, half-worried that she wanted to hear others talk more about the young patriarch of the Zenovia house.
