Silva led the others out of the room, but before he left, he turned and took a look at Gabriel.
"You are an assassin. You know the implications of risk when it comes to life and death. Think systematically, not emotionally." After saying that, they left Gabriel with her.
"Do you think he'll choose to go through with it?" Drake asked Silva as they walked.
"It's highly probable that he will. If he thinks smart, he'll see that we only gave him one solution, and that means there's only one solution for now.
He also knows that we are heading to the empire, and that means we will not be able to focus on finding her cure for a very long while, which might take years.
When all that is put into consideration, he'll feel like he has no other choice and will have to make a decision soon, or let her stay for a year," Silva said.
They arrived at the meeting. Silva pushed the door and walked in, followed by Drake and Lily. Everyone was already inside and ready for the meeting before he came.
He walked to his seat facing all of them. He sat down with Drake and Lily on both sides. He took a deep breath and then looked at them.
"We will be heading for the empire tomorrow. We will be beginning the mission to find the demon blood. But before we get into that, this kingdom is still important, and we can't really leave it without protection.
So firstly, I'll be calling out the people that will be staying here to watch over this kingdom. First is Kratos. The reason why you will be staying is because you are the leader of the wyvern army,
and that army is still under training and will need your guidance for longer. We will keep in touch with you, but we need you here.
The next person in that group is Maru. It might seem like I have not been paying attention to what you do, Maru, but I do. You have been actively helping the army and training them.
They respect you and have been getting better because of you, so I'd like for you to continue this and keep training them. Many inevitable wars are headed their way, so we need to train them.
The two of you, Kratos and Maru, are important to be here, and for the sake of more security, I'm asking Zack to be here as well. His strength is needed, and I'm sure you three will work well together.
I'd also like to ask Gallan and Fang to remain here and help secure the kingdom. Their strengths are needed here.
Is there any issue with this setup?" Silva asked. He knew that there was a possibility that the five would not want to stay.
"If I can speak, Master," Zack said and got up. "We surely won't have any issues with your plan, but we would really like it if you can keep us within the loop and allow us to help at certain times," Zack said. Kratos, Gallan, Fang, and Maru nodded in agreement with what he said.
"That has always been part of the plan. You don't have to worry about that. You will still be crucial in all the plans," Silva said.
"Now to those that will be going with me: Selax, Jade, Lily, Drake, Dawn, Aaron, Mike, Lia, Leah, Fay, Amber, and Roxy.
Now, the reason I need this number of people is for different purposes. Drake, Jade, and Selax will not be with me at all times. You are going to have to be hidden figures, gathering information from the streets.
Lily will have to be my closest and personal assistant. Aaron and Mike have to be with me because, well, too many ladies already. We are going to pull some attention, but that's good. It's what I want, so yeah.
We have made a way by which we will all be changing our appearances, turning us into normal humans. We want to look like them. Tonight all of us will take new forms. There is no real need for you all to change your names.
But I feel everyone has come to know my name, which I don't know when that happened. It just happened," Silva said. Everyone gave him the "yeah right" look.
"The plan is to become the most powerful and the most popular adventurer party, gain the recognition of the people and the nobles, which will allow us to integrate into their society and get to know about their demon blood.
Are there any questions on this plan?" Silva asked.
Mike got up and spoke. "I feel a ten-person party is a bit too large. I want to volunteer myself to be part of the shadows with Sir Drake," Mike said.
"I see. I understand your point, and if that works well for you, then go for it," Silva said.
"Same for me, Silva. I'd like to gather information from the back like Drake, rather than escorting you around. I see no point in that for now," Lily spoke up.
"Huh? I've gotten used to you being by my side. I might not know what to do if you ain't there," Silva said.
"Stop overexaggerating the whole thing, Silva," Lily said. Silva let out a defeated sigh. "Fine," he said.
Roxy also got up and spoke. "Silva, I feel I'm more suited for hidden missions. That's my strength, so I'd like to move with Lady Lily if that's not an issue."
"Yeah, yeah. Y'all do what you want. Is there anyone that wants to go with Drake and Lily again?" he asked, but this time no one got up.
"Fine then. The people for the party are Aaron, Fay, Lia, Leah, Amber, and Dawn," Silva said.
Lily suddenly tapped him and pointed at Aris and Elsa. "You forgot them," she said.
"Nope, didn't forget. I have a separate job for the both of them, one that is very important right now," Silva said.
