SpiderGwen: I have a system?!

[3rd POV]

The rest of the tour of the school had went pretty well, with Rogue denying the invitation to join them, which Gwen respected. She expected it to be honest, as Rogue was most likely trying to get a control over her emotions, knowing that there was someone out there that could actually touch her now, something she hadn't known for a long time now.

From what Gwen was seeing, Rogue was roughly the same age as her and Jean, making her around 18. She also was in her "Emo" phase, and wasn't in her badass sexy Southern charm just yet. She did definitely have an accent though, but she tried her best to hide it.

She did run back into the girl later that day, during the dinner where most of the X-Men and some other students attended in a room together. The girl had chosen to sit as close to her as possible, probably so she could feel her touch again, or perhaps just so she could get to know her better, either way, Gwen didn't mind much.

It was later that night, when the girls were snuggling up against her in their guest room, that Gwen had decided to produce some clones to complete her quest. Around five thousand clones were made and spread throughout the world, mostly in countries/regions that needed the aid, such as the Middle East and Africa.

It didn't take long at all before tasks for the quest was rapidly being completed, as her clones, using various forms and all keeping themselves hidden, saved tens of thousands in a single hour. The amount of them, their speed, and their power, all combining to make a VERY potent force, one that was perfect for saving others.

And so, by the time Gwen had woken up the next morning, 10 hours later, she had quite a lot of quest completions waiting for her. Each of the "Tasks" counting as a quest to the system.

Meet the X-Men!

Details - Meet all the major members of the X-Men, both the current ones, and the future ones.

Teach? Hell Yeah!

Details - Xavier's given you the offer to teach, take it, and you shall be rewarded!

Task - Become a Teacher at Xaviers School, for every 1 month teaching (Maximum of 24 months) you will receive 10 TL tickets, for every 1 year you will get an additional 50 TL Tickets. This teaching can be part time and still count, as long as you teach a class at least once a week.

Gwen didn't hesitate to convert the 100 TL tickets into SSL ones, getting two new characters.

[SSL Characters - Accelerator (Magical Index), Magneto (616)]

The two characters were...easily some of the best she had gotten so far, by a huge margin at that. Accelerator would give her control over Vectors, a VERY important aspect of reality, while Magneto was...kind of obvious why it was such an incredible boon to her power. She already had control over electromagnetism, but this would be a huge increase in power over that area.

Assimilating the characters hadn't taken long, only a minute or so, before Gwen had finally gotten up, the girls already downstairs with the kiddos, preparing for breakfast.

"Looks like I'll be taking that job after all" Gwen muttered with a small smile, not really minding all that much. Teaching sounded like fun, and with all the knowledge she had, it would be easy. Plus it would let her help out some of the mutants that couldn't control their mutations or had ones that were physically disabling them.

There were some specific mutants that needed it much more than others, like the one that could blow up and...that was it, he could blow himself up and then just...dead. Then there was Forget me Not, who would make anyone and everyone forget him after looking away from him, with this even affecting things like cameras. It even affected Jean and the most powerful telepaths in the world.

Gwen was only immune due to her MANY powers that blocked any sort of mind control, wiping, warping, changing, etc. Even the strongest of entities would struggle to gaze into her mind, and even then they would have to be careful with all the defenses on her mind, as well as the Lords of Order and Chaos that she was the host of.

Said Lords were all currently in hibernation, seemingly undergoing a change due to the vast difference between this universe and the others, adapting to the Chaos and Order of this universe, growing much stronger. This also meant that their powers were all not usable right now, and wouldn't be for a couple of months it seemed. Gwen didn't mind, as they'd just come back stronger than ever before, and hopefully able to come out in the open for the first time in...quite some time.

Walking downstairs, Gwen rounded a corner and smiled at the sight of her girlfriends helping some younger kids make their plates of pancakes, bacon, and a nice cup of orange juice.

"Did you sleep well, Gwen?" Jean asked as she walked over to her with a smile, noticing Gwen's "Friends" helping the younger kids making their meals.

"Like a baby. Those beds you guys have are a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be" Gwen responded. The beds actually were quite comfortable, even to her standards.

"Yeah the Professor had those special ordered because some of the students have mutations that make it hard to sleep at night" Jean replied, understanding what Gwen said, as the beds at the school were easily better than anything she slept on before.

"Huh that...actually makes a lot of sense" Gwen muttered in slight surprise, she expected the reason to be a bit more useless or dumb, but it made sense to get specially made super comfortable beds for the students that struggled to sleep for whatever reason.

Jean giggled at Gwen's reaction, only to stop as Rogue walked into the room, moving towards them with a slightly nervous expression on her face.

"Oh-um, hi Gwen. Could I sit with you for breakfast?" Rogue asked, stumbling over her own words at first, struggling to get her sentence out.

'Cute' Gwen thought with a small giggle, before nodding.

"Sure, you want to join us, Jean?" Gwen asked, turning to Jean who looked surprised at the offer before smiling and nodding.

"I'd love to!" Jean replied, happy to eat with her new friend. She always sat with the same group of people, so a change was definitely welcome. She usually ate with Scott, a certain...Crawler, a girl who phased through walls, and an icy teen. And while she loved eating with her friends, she wanted to get to know Gwen more, a mystery that was beginning to pull her in.

"Well then, let's go get some breakfast!"

That's the end of the chapter!

Basically just an intermission chapter with 2 new characters and that's it. Next chapter will have more happening...probably. There'll be some slice of life for a little bit, until she starts getting involved with some events and does a lot more. Her clones will be completing a lot of quests for her in the background as well.

Fanon Maker should be getting updated later today after the Superbowl.
