Everyone's face turned ugly when they heard this.
The one that had the ugliest expression on his face was the king of the Poppin Kingdom.
It really looked like he had swallowed shit with the way that his face twisted.
There wasn't a single person here who was mistaken on who had sent the wyverns.
After all, there was only a single place that the wyverns could have come from.
It was just that none of them had expected that place to send the wyverns like this.
At the same time, since it was that place that was getting involved, it seemed unlikely that they would be able to get the support of the four empires now...
"Does anyone know why they are doing this?" The king of the Poppin Kingdom said through gritted teeth.
However, there was no answer that followed.

Since no one answered, the king continued by saying, "Where are they now?"
The messenger had been silently standing there in a daze as if he was waiting for an answer, so the moment that he was called out like this, he was actually caught off guard and couldn't answer right away.
"Where are they now?" The king asked again in a strained voice.
The messenger came back to his senses and said, "The wyverns disappeared into the clouds above the capital after burning down the headquarters. There are minimal injuries, so the knight order itself is perfectly fine."
Though the king still had a strained look, there was a part of him that let out a secret sigh of relief.
The knight order was the biggest reliance that he had and if the knight order had been taken down, that would have been a serious loss for them. If the knight order only suffered minimal losses and was still capable of fighting, then they still had a chance.
"Get the knights to gather right away and prepare for any further attacks. We need to find the leader of the wyverns and talk to them." The king immediately gave this order after learning what the situation was.
The messenger was shocked to hear this, but he was sent packing by the king's furious roars.
After sending the messenger away, the king suddenly stood up from this throne and said, "My generals, follow me into battle."
The generals were all caught off guard when they heard this, but they didn't seem to have a choice since they could see the look that was on the king's face. It didn't seem like he would take no for an answer from them.
So they had no choice but to go and armour up just like the king.
When the king left the palace, he was completely covered in armour that made him look like a god of war.
It was just too bad that this god of war was nothing in the face of the power of the wyverns. The first place that the king went to was the knight order.
There was a reason why the wyverns had targeted the knight order in the first place.
The knight order posed a threat to the rebellion that was happening across the country, so they wanted to take care of the knight order first. Or at the very least, they wanted to stall the knight order to prevent them from sweeping through the peasants.
That meant that if the king wanted to draw out the wyverns, he had to go to the knight order.
When he arrived, the first thing that he did was...
"Follow me!"
Though the knight order was a bit in chaos because of the collapse of their headquarters, it didn't take them long to organize themselves and follow the king.
But right as that happened, there were roars that came from above them.
When they looked up, they saw that there were large dark spots that were coming out of the clouds.
The moment that they saw this, the knight order revealed traces of fear.
Even if they were a powerful order of knights, that didn't mean that they were invincible. They knew the power that these wyverns possessed and knew that they wouldn't be able to do anything to them if they just flew above, so they were afraid of them.
Still, they were brave knights that had received very fierce training, so it wasn't as if they would run.
Some of them even raised their spears as if they were prepared to throw them at the wyverns above them.
But the king raised his hand to stop them as he stared at the wyverns.
It seemed that the wyverns also understood the intentions of the king, so they floated down without actually attacking the knights.
When they came down, the king of the Poppin Kingdom narrowed his eyes to look at the rider that was leading them before asking, "Why?"
It was one simple word, but there was no other word that was needed.
"You know why. You were given a chance before, but you're the one that didn't take it." The lead rider said in a calm voice.
The king of the Poppin Kingdom deeply knitted his brows when he heard this.
It didn't take long before confusion appeared on his face.
After all, he really didn't understand what the lead rider was saying.
When the lead rider saw this, he just gave a sigh and said, "Surrender to the rebels now and
take off your crown. That will be the only way that you get out of this alive."
Without waiting for a response, the wyverns suddenly started flying away.
There were ugly looks that were left behind on the faces of the king and the knights.
