The moment that these glowing arrows pierced the large demons, it was as if there was something that was burning them from the inside as smoke came from the holes.

Or it would have been that they were being burned if it wasn't for the fact that there were no flames.

But the large demons did grab at the arrows in their chest as if they wanted to pull them out as soon as possible. The look on their faces showed that they were in pain from having these arrows stabbed in their chests.

The ones that shot these arrows were far off in the distance, but they had amazing skills that they were able to shoot the arrows this far.

The only ones that were capable of doing something like this were the elves.

It was a group of elves that were providing support to the giants from afar.

Dwarves, mermen, giants, and elves.

It was a gathering of many different races in this one place.

The demons just couldn't understand why so many of these different races gathered in this one place. Especially since this was where they were fighting the humans.

Since the racial wars, it was unlikely that the other races worked with each other.

So the demons thought that it would be very unlikely that the other races would interfere in this battle between them and the humans.

But here they were.

When the other races were in front of them, there was no denying that they were here to help.

As for the reason why these arrows affected the large demons filled with corruption energy, it was because these arrows were special arrows that had a core made from a special type of wood. It contained a splinter from a branch of the Tree of Life.

That meant that these were arrows that were filled with divine energy.

When all of these arrows hit the large demons, even if each individual arrow didn't have as much divine energy by itself, the combined force of all this divine energy being forced into the large demons was just too much for them.

Then under the club that Alidus swung, they were directly shattered apart by the force of his swings.

They just couldn't resist the power that was contained in each of Alidus' swings.

With these large demons dealt with, there was nothing that got in Alidus' way. With the path cleared, there was nothing that was nothing that stopped Alidus from reaching the demon king.

The demon king knitted his brows when he saw this, but he didn't back down from this challenge.

The demon king raised his hands and there was this sword of corruption energy that was gathered in front of him.

Grabbing it with both hands, he suddenly swung it down at Alidus.

This sent a wave of dark corruption energy flying out in front of him, but that was easily dealt with by a swing of Alidus' club.

With how easily he shattered it, it seemed that this attack wasn't that strong.

After that attack was shattered, the demon king kept swinging the sword and sending out more waves of dark corruption at Alidus, but all of them were shattered with a single swing of his club.

While he was swinging this sword of corruption energy, the demon king roared, "Why are you giants getting involved in this matter! This is a matter between the demons and the humans, this isn't a matter that involves you!"

Alidus just gave a disdainful laugh when he heard this before saying, "So you're saying that the demons weren't planning on attacking the other races after this? Do you really think we don't know what's been happening in our own territories?"

The demon king's face looked ugly when he heard this, but he didn't say anything else.

Instead, he used his actions to give an answer rather than his words.

This resulted in the demon king exploding with corruption energy.

The way that the corruption energy erupted around the demon king seemed like it was planning on using a final attack. Only, the demon king never got the chance to use this final attack.

There was a wave of flames that suddenly rained down on him.

These weren't just normal flames, but rather these were flames that had a faint glow to them. It was just like the flames that had enveloped the Death King and had seriously injured it. The demon king's figure completely disappeared after being enveloped by these flames. When it reappeared, the corruption energy that had been around the demon king had been completely wiped out. However, it seemed that the demon king wasn't as injured as the Death King had been.

First, the corruption energy that the demon king released had been stronger than the corruption energy that the Death King possessed, which gave him a stronger defense.

Second, the demon king had been prepared to defend itself unlike the Death King who had been caught off guard, so his defenses were more concentrated.

But that still wasn't enough to completely protect the demon king.

After the flames disappeared, there were more attacks that came at the demon king.

There was a barrage of glowing arrows that came from all around him that seemed to completely surround the demon king.

There were also earth spikes that were stabbing at him from all different angles.

Then there was Alidus who was already close enough to swing his club at the demon king.

The only thing that the demon king could do was raise his sword in an attempt to block the attack, but that wasn't going to work.

The demon king had a look of distress on his face as he said, "How shameless can you be to gang up on me like this?!"

Those were the last words that he said before he was hit from all directions by these attacks. With his corruption energy gone, there was just nothing that the demon king could do to resist.
