Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 247: Territory

Entering inside, people found out that the huge structure was a big fancy plaza.

The central hall had a big map of the battlefield, with four places marked at four corners of the map, representing the four worlds—Planet Earth, Planet Cyberterra, Planet Empyreandrake, and Planet Eldoren.

Some people were already throwing their skills and attacks, but none of those would work as everything just passed by them.

Battlefield Hub Plaza had a huge hall, cafeterias, empty shops and blocks with prices attached, and various other structures. It was like a mini city's central business and luxury district.

And everyone could buy the plots there to put their shops or whatever!

But the cost was not in gold coins. Instead, it was something called Battlefield Points.

As for how or what to do to earn those points, there was nothing written about it except for just one thing [ Enter, War, Conquer]

It was clear that there was only one place where everyone could earn points—The battlefield.

There was only one indication of competitiveness in the hall, and it was the giant leaderboard.

[ Planet Earth ] — 0 Cumulative Battlefield points.

[ Planet Cyberterra ] — 0 Cumulative Battlefield points.

[ Planet Empyreandrake ] — 0 Cumulative Battlefield points.

[ Planet Eldoren ] — 0 Cumulative Battlefield points.

Everyone could enter the battlefield and people soon vanished one by one, arriving at the bases of their respective worlds.

Almond and others arrived in a huge empty land with nothing on it, and behind them was a horizon of endless clouds.

"That's the border," Almond said as he raised his eyebrows. "Interesting."

"What if we fall?" Natalia curiously asked.

"Guess there's only one way to find out," Marcus snickered.

"Are we supposed to just build stuff here?"

Suddenly, everyone felt compelled to look up in the sky as a magical effect affected everyone except a few.

Almond only got notified as the mental effect completely failed to affect him due to his high will.

But he still looked there and saw elder Arjun floating with a bright yet lookable sun above him, it appeared real yet dreamy.

'Interesting skill,' Almond blinked. 'An illusion, mental interference type, but it's kept to cause no harm right now. What if he turns this on the offensive?'

Almond could only imagine how this skill could affect a large number of people if Elder Arjun turned on its true power. He could resist because of his high will, but most of the people would be affected.

"Everyone, please gather at one side. We are going to build our base here in a minute."

Everyone quickly and orderly moved away at the corner, those who could fly floated in the air while the rest stayed on the ground.

In the center, only the old monsters remained. Even other guild leaders moved away.

"The base is a 2-kilometer radius big, and then the forest starts, so let's build within the inner 1-kilometer radius first," Rudra said before his eyes flickered and soon a blueprint appeared in front of everyone on the mana screen.

"A war command palace, training grounds, and these motel pillars connecting each other with wooden houses on top of them in the sky?" Silvester rolled his eyes. "You come with weird shit every time."

"Let's start already. I know I have the most work to do, as always," Dylan Makana snorted as blocks of walls made with the best stones formed.

"You're wrong, I also have the same amount of work," James chuckled as he coated the walls with strange black-gray metal, but they suddenly changed colors and inner structure, surprising everyone.

"Bastard, don't tell me you broke through?" Annika shouted.

"My metal is superior to yours now, Anni," James grinned. "This is the Legendary-rank Nano-metal."

"Stop grinning, your wrinkly face is ugly."

"Congrats, James. It seems you were the seventh one to reach Legendary rank in something."

"Interestingly, I actually sensed the presence of a more powerful metal in the plaza…It vanished quickly though."

Everyone's eyes flickered hearing that.

"Are you sure or just a hunch?"

"Pretty sure," James said with a calm nod.

"We can find out more about our enemies later. For now, let's finish this," Shiro-sen said as he waved his hand, using wind to draw the skeleton structure on the ground.

And then, everyone saw the most awesome spectacle of magic.

All eighteen old monsters were in different positions and all of them burst out with different elemental energies.

They saw energies solidifying into beautiful structures of metal, wood, stone, and more. In just five minutes, a magnificent base formed over the land of a 1-kilometer radius, containing a war command center akin to a big palace, training grounds plots, warehouses, and living quarters up in the sky branching from tall solid molten pillars, with every fourth pillar being a taller watchtower.

"The rest is a camping area. Make your little camps yourself if you want to stay here," Rudra faced the adventurers as he said, his voice loud, "The forest may have dangers, so do not go out. We will go first and create a live map of which area is safe or not. Until then, don't wander off away from our base here."

Admiral Rudra also Magic Whispered to tens of people.

The vice-guild leaders and other figures of GAA started leading people to build the rest of the base while the old monsters, top 20 guild leaders, and top family heads joined in a mana network of Rudra where they could Magic Whisper to each other.

Less than 100 people were gathered to explore the forests and find out what lay ahead, though Almond already knew quite a lot by using Espada Ad Grimveil and covering a 4-kilometer radius.

'This could quickly become very troublesome,' Almond frowned as he saw a location at the very end of his range, just some area, but he sensed multiple powerful presences in that area.

'They are at Epic rank lifeform,' Almond's eyes glinted.

[Rudra: Almond, come here. You'll join in the exploration.]

Almond suddenly got Admira Rudra's message.

[Almond: Good idea, because I have something to share with you. There are people with pig-head and humanoid bodies living in something like a town four kilometers in the northwest.]

[Rudra: Yeah, Shiro-sen informed us just now.]

[Almond: Eh? His Focus Line can go for 4 kilometers?]

[Rudra: He has a skill that can let him observe from afar, but my Focus Line range is longest still, at 3.4 kilometers right now, though now that I broke through to Epic-rank, It'll increase. Anyway, hurry on, we have to interact with those hog-headed people.]

Almond left after telling Lily and others to go do the War Participating Challenge and put their scores to enter the first War Event starting after ten hours.

The big group split into three, with each group having at least five old monsters in the numbers.

But first, everyone went to the town in the northwest as that was the only anomaly nearest to them within a 5-kilometer area.

However, when the whole group arrived there, two guards with powerful aura holding a pike and a sword approached them.

Almond's eyes glinted as he saw through their attributes and status. 'So the race is called Pyga. They are intelligent species, and have the same stat limit of lifeform ranks as humans.'

'But that means they are strong,' Almond tried to see through their classes with his All-Seeing eyes and succeeded with a minor headache.

'So they have classes too…'

"Halt!" one of the guards shouted, pointing his big dark pink palm at the huge group. "Otherworlders! Read the next chapter!"
