Chapter 246: Battlefield of the Mightiest Opens!
'That arrow and this slash both held almost 50% of my maximum mana each!' Lerkeion's eyes trembled. 'Why does he move space of such quantity and yet doesn't get drained!?'
"Hey, is that all you got?" Almond blinked as he injected Spirit Syringe to recover his Mana swiftly before saying. "I mean, I know I am kind of strongest in terms of raw power right now because of my strange boost in space powers, but I expected more from you."
Lerkeion's expression darkened, not making any move and instead staying cautious, 'I can't defeat him even with my stats doubling in my true form from bloodline's boost.'
"I am tempted to go all out and kill you, but it's clear that others would soon show up here," Lerkeion put away his weapon, his eyes glinting, "Consider yourself spared this time."
Almond laughed, "Are you joking?"
His sword which was slightly cracked due to splitting that arrow glimmered as golden sands crackling with lightning coated around it and produced a glassy texture, sharpening and enchanting its blade.
It was clear that Almond didn't plan to end the battle just yet.
The atmosphere was tense, but Lerkeion made the first move.
Almond's eyes glinted as he vanished with this hand already in motion!
A violet fissure appeared behind Lerkeion, intending to escape, but Almond, sensing that, teleported right behind the fissure, his sword shredding the fissure away before striking Lerkeion!
Lerkeion's Focus Field also sensed something behind him, and his eyes shook, "No, you bastard!"
'I have to get away!' Lerkeon wanted to get away, but he suddenly felt drastic weakness in his senses!
Divine Divider's Harvest!
Perception—cut into half!
Almond's sword unleashed a golden slash projectile that reached Lerkeion quickly before he could dodge, slashing his chest before Almond shrank space, and his physical sword slash also struck Lerkeion before he could do anything!
'HOW?!' Lerkeion's eyes showed terror as darkness suddenly surrounded him.
"Get out of my planet," Almond's eyes glinted as the impact shot Lerkeion right into a space crack he formed!
As soon as Lerkeion vanished, he closed the space.
The barrier also shattered immediately after that, and Almond's wristwatch suddenly started ringing.
"It seems all contact and connection was cut off while that barrier was present," Almond blinked and saw that he had several messages and calls from Admiral.
He video-called him as his hologram soon sprung up from his wristwatch.
"What's going on there, Almond?! All surveillance there was suddenly cut off, and a barrier was blocking the area. Was it your new space-related skill or something else?"
"It was Lerkeion," Almond chuckled. "He came here to kill us."
"What?!"
"No worries, though. I think he won't be bothering us for a while," Almond smiled.
Admiral Rudra raised his eyebrows, "What do you mean?"
"I sent him into outer space, though I don't know where," Almond grinned. "I wanted to send him somewhere else, where he would have definitely died, but unfortunately, I can't access that place yet."
Almond did try opening the void layer passively so that he could send Lerkeion there, but it just wasn't possible.
"You're not joking, right?" Admiral Rudra asked with a weird expression. "Well, you can halve Lerkeion's stats, and you have many tricks up your sleeve, so it's not impossible…"
"Nope, it's not impossible," Almond smiled. "I'm pretty strong now, haha."
"Almond, what happened here?!"
"That was the alien bastard, right?!"
Lily and Natalia asked first as the whole group arrived at the shore.
"Everything's fine," Almond laughed. "I sent the alien bastard back to drifting in space."
"Admiral, see you soon if the battlefield opens."
Admiral Rudra nodded, "Five seconds."
"Four!" Marcus shouted.
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
The clock hit midnight as the 1st of January descended on the planet Earth.
Right as the whole world celebrated the new year, a world announcement rang in everyone's ears, along with window panels.
[Battlefield of the Mightiest now opens. Everyone at Gold rank and above can enter the Battlefield Hub and look at the battlefield's map, and current territories of each world.]
[As the battlefield has opened for adventurers to explore and claim, the first War Event will begin after 10 hours—War of the Wildered Tribes.]

4. People exit and leave from their world to the Region of Wildered at will, with teleportation taking 3 seconds of delay.
5. Surrending is allowed. Once you surrender, you will be expelled from the War and may not enter again.
Reading everything, the super rookies were dumbfounded, and then other emotions settled in, but mainly excitement!
"Holy shit!" Amir shouted.
"The first war is for us," Lily muttered, her eyes thrilled.
"But that third rule…that means we will either win or die once we enter?"
"That's...right."
"But who can defeat us with boss Almond on our side? This is going to be too easy for us," Adrian laughed.
"Let's enter now," Almond said as he saw the new option in the status window. "It's time to check out the battlefield hub."
Almond entered first, and then Lily before everyone else also disappeared.
A second later, everyone found themselves on a massive plaza stretching several kilometers in radius!
The plaza had four sections, each one a kilometer square with its transparent surface having different colored linings—Black, Blue, Red, and Golden.
The platform where people of Earth appeared had golden linings.
Thousands and thousands of people appeared on this platform as adventurers at Gold rank and above began entering the hub.
Behind his platform stretched a wide road and a massive fancy building looking sci-fi with a metallic structure, and colorful lighting at different parts.
"Holy shit, look below guys!"
Everyone looked below and saw a massive square flat world.
Everyone could make out clouds and mountains, as it was clear that the massive continent below them was a world!
Everyone who entered soon heard a voice in their heads.
[What you are seeing below is the battlefield. It is 20,000 kilometers square area, and each of the world's first bases starts at a different corner of the world.]
[The battlefield awaits your presence. Enter, war, and conquer.]
Almond looked at other sides and saw people from other worlds as well.
'So many dragons?'
'And what are those, cyborgs? That world seems to be very high-tech.'
'And elves, eh?'
People began moving to the big building to see what was inside.
The old monsters and various leaders were the first ones to go there as they began exploring this hub.
"Boss, let's go in!"
"Almond, let's go check out the building."
Almond chuckled and snapped his finger, teleporting his party there swiftly.
Even he couldn't wait to check it out!
