"Currently, Alice has only one Pokémon left, while Sato has two Pokémon that are still full of energy. What will Alice do next? What secret weapon will she bring out to turn the tide? Let's wait and see!"

The female commentator, witnessing the battle reach its critical stage, passionately picked up the microphone and added fuel to the already electrifying atmosphere with her energetic commentary.

Pressure.

At this moment, Alice was weighed down by an unprecedented level of pressure. The loss of her Jolteon filled her with an intense sense of crisis.

The reason was clear—she was highly likely to be defeated yet again by this detestable commoner in front of her. And this time, it was in such a grand, attention-grabbing setting.

Alice wished she could flee the battlefield immediately. However, her pride wouldn't allow her to commit an act more humiliating than defeat itself.

She would never tarnish the Sasaki family's honor.

Marshtomp was a Pokémon Alice had anticipated encountering, so she had already devised a plan to counter it.

Her strategy involved sending out her strongest Grass-type Pokémon, Bayleef, to face it.

Why, among the famous Kanto starters, did Alice possess both Charmeleon and Wartortle but not the Grass-type starter Bulbasaur? Instead, she had Bayleef, a Grass-type Pokémon from the Johto region.

The reason was simple.

Alice found Venusaur, Bulbasaur's final evolved form, unattractive. Thus, she opted for Chikorita, which she considered the cutest and most beautiful Grass-type starter.

However, after witnessing Marshtomp's overwhelming performance earlier, Alice doubted that Bayleef could defeat such a barbaric brute.

Sato's Marshtomp was the most savage and violent Pokémon she had ever encountered.

Although she had heard reports about its exceptional strength surpassing that of ordinary Marshtomps, witnessing it firsthand revealed just how terrifying its brute power was.

It crushed opponents with raw strength—a truly unstoppable force.

"Come out, Togekiss."

After careful deliberation, Alice finally acknowledged Marshtomp's superior strength.

This time, she didn't dare pit a Pokémon against Marshtomp in close combat. Instead, she chose her strongest Flying-type Pokémon, Togekiss, as her trump card to counter Marshtomp's brute force.

The next moment, a brilliant white light shot out from the Luxury Ball in Alice's hand.

A stunning Pokémon appeared midair above the battlefield. Its elegant flight silenced the crowd, calming their previously excited hearts.

"As expected of a young lady from a prestigious family. She even has such a rare Pokémon. That Togekiss must have been nurtured from an egg, or it wouldn't have evolved into its current form."

Seeing Alice deploy a Pokémon rarer than even pseudo-legendaries, Sato couldn't help but feel astonished again. The Pokémon gracefully gliding in the air was indeed Togekiss.

It was hard to imagine what other rare Pokémon this wealthy heiress might possess. At this point, Sato wouldn't be surprised if she had an undeveloped pseudo-legendary waiting in reserve.

As usual, Sato activated his system's scanning ability to analyze Togekiss. The detailed information appeared before his eyes.

Upon seeing Togekiss's extensive skill set, Sato silently acknowledged Alice as a "true spender."

-------------------------------

Sato felt a mix of awe and concern. Alice's Togekiss, much like her Charmeleon, was clearly a Pokémon she adored.

The sheer number of moves it had learned was enviable yet intimidating. Even without considering the TMs, Togekiss's level-up moves alone were enough to give Sato a headache.

If Alice was clever, she could easily exploit Magical Leaf and Extreme Speed to make things extremely difficult for Marshtomp.

Still, if Alice's training of Togekiss wasn't thorough, Marshtomp might still have a chance to win.

Togekiss's clear advantage lay in its flight. If Sato could bring it down, victory would be within reach.

With the referee's signal, the final showdown began.

Alice's extensive background and expert mentorship, combined with her own talent as a trainer, shone through when she was pushed to the edge.

Forcing herself to stay calm, Alice's demeanor transformed, her eyes now radiating icy determination.

"Togekiss, use Magical Leaf! Attack with full force!"

Right from the start, Alice commanded Togekiss to unleash its full power. The elegant Pokémon became an aerial bomber, showering the battlefield with waves of shimmering green leaves.

Each leaf homed in on Marshtomp with unerring accuracy, resembling a barrage of heat-seeking missiles.

Feeling the overwhelming pressure, Marshtomp instinctively dove underground using Dig, sealing the tunnel entrance with a layer of frozen soil for added protection.

Unfortunately, this measure was temporary. The frozen soil quickly gave way under the relentless assault of Magical Leaf, forcing Marshtomp back to the surface.

Emerging from the ground, Marshtomp found itself surrounded by a storm of glowing leaves. The relentless assault left no room for escape.

With the four-times damage from the Grass-type move, one hit would spell defeat. Togekiss had set a trap from which there seemed to be no escape.

"If you can't dodge, face it head-on! Start spinning and use Icy Wind to freeze them!" Sato's eyes gleamed as he issued his command.

Cornered, Marshtomp took a deep breath. Its belly swelled as it unleashed an icy blue wind, spinning rapidly to spread the freezing air in all directions.

The shimmering green leaves slowed as they became coated in frost, eventually falling harmlessly to the ground.

Marshtomp had narrowly escaped disaster, but Alice was quick to capitalize.

"Use Aura Sphere!" she called, her voice cutting through the tension.

A glowing blue energy orb shot forth from Togekiss, striking Marshtomp and sending it flying.

As Marshtomp struggled midair, a massive Air Slash descended—a white energy blade over eight meters wide, slicing through the sky with terrifying force.

The ultimate attack was heading straight for Marshtomp, who had nowhere to escape.
