The two wolves clashed again, their bodies colliding with a force that sent up a cloud of dust. Their claws and fangs tore into each other's body with ferocity.

The Alpha reared back and slammed its paw down toward Lupin, who dodged nimbly to the side. In a blur of motion, Lupin leapt onto the Alpha's back, his claws raking down its spine.

The Alpha let out a howl of pain, bucking wildly to throw Lupin off, but Lupin held firm, his jaws snapping at the back of the Alpha's neck.
Arthur couldn't help but chuckle. "Now that's a power move. Ride that damn beast into submission, Lupin!"
The Alpha eventually managed to shake Lupin off, whipping around to face him with fury. Blood dripped from its wounds, and its growl was more guttural.
The Alpha let out another roar and charged, its claws aiming for Lupin's chest. Lupin sidestepped at the last second, and the Alpha's momentum carried it straight towards a nearby tree. The wolf was able to stop his body from colliding at the last moment
Seizing the moment, Lupin leapt onto the Alpha once again, this time going straight for the Alpha's vulnerable neck.
The Alpha, however, wasn't so easily caught. With an almost impossible grace, it twisted its massive body, dodging Lupin's attack by mere inches. Lupin landed heavily, his claws skidding against the ground as he pivoted to face the Alpha again.
The Alpha let out a deafening roar, its muscles rippling as it lunged forward. Lupin braced himself. The two wolves collided in midair with a sickening crunch, their bodies entwined in a vicious struggle.
The Alpha came out in a better shape as the collision ended.

Lupin staggered slightly, his chest heaving as blood dripped from his wounds onto the dirt. Despite the pain, his growl never wavered, vibrating with fury.
The Alpha mirrored his exhaustion, its hulking body swaying slightly as it stood tall, its yellow eyes burning with defiance.
Arthur's gaze flicked between the two wolves, his brow furrowed. "This is insane," he muttered under his breath. "Lupin's barely hanging on, but he is refusing to back down. That Alpha... even it seems to respect him now."
The Alpha let out a roar, shaking the forest around them, but there was a hesitation—a moment of realization in its eyes.
Lupin was no longer another prey that he could step on. Lupin wasn't submitting. He was fighting for dominance, and for the first time, the Alpha seemed uncertain.
Lupin lunged forward, his claws slashing across the Alpha's side.

Arthur could feel the anger and frustration radiating from his summon.
The Alpha growled low, stepping closer.
Arthur clenched his fists. "Lupin, don't push yourself—wait for an opening!" But Lupin didn't flinch.
He bared his teeth, his growl louder and more defiant than ever.
The Alpha lunged, and Lupin dodged, his movements slightly sluggish from all the wounds he had accumulated.
Nonetheless, he circled the Alpha, his eyes searching for any weakness he could exploit.
His movements screamed desperation but also strategy. Arthur's heart pounded as he watched the two wolves dance around each other.
The Alpha charged again, its claws aiming for Lupin's side. This time, Lupin didn't dodge. He braced himself and let the claws tear into his side.

Arthur's eyes widened. "Lupin, buddy, you've got to stop using your body to block attacks. It's not a good strategy. You barely have 10% of your original health points"
Lupin grunted in pain, but a dangerous gleam sparked in his eyes. As the Alpha leaned in for the kill, Lupin snapped forward, his teeth sinking deep into the Alpha's exposed neck.

The Alpha let out a choked roar, its massive body thrashing as blood spurted from the wound.
Lupin's jaws tightened, his body trembling from the exertion.
Arthur watched, his breath caught in his throat. "He's doing it… he's actually doing it…"
The Alpha staggered, its legs buckling. Its eyes widened in disbelief as death sank in—this was its end.
Lupin didn't release his grip, even as the Alpha's claws raked his side again and again.

The massive wolf fell to the ground with a heavy thud, its body still and lifeless.

'He is losing health points from blood loss,' He thought as he knelt beside him, frantically pulling a health potion from his inventory.
"Drink this!" Arthur commanded, tilting the potion to Lupin's mouth. The wolf's eyes flickered open briefly, and for a moment, Arthur swore he saw a faint smirk on Lupin's face.
Then, his body went still.

Arthur sat back, the potion slipping from his hand. He stared at Lupin's lifeless body, his emotions a whirlwind of pride, frustration, and sadness. Then, a soft smile appeared on his lips.
"You did amazing, Lupin, a true warrior," he murmured. "Rest for now. You've earned it."
Standing, Arthur turned to the glowing loot hovering over the Alpha's body.
Picking up the rare item, Arthur muttered softly.
"It seems like the grade of the boss doesn't affect the rarity of the item dropped, It probably only affects the chances of dropping it. But that doesn't matter in my case anyway."
