The world itself seemed to pause,the Straw Hats stared at Buggy, their expressions ranging from disbelief to shock. Even Zoro, who usually had little patience for nonsense, found himself gripping his swords a little tighter.

"The first King of the Pirates?" Robin's voice was calm, but there was an unmistakable sharpness to it. "That's impossible. History only records one—Gol D. Roger."

Buggy chuckled darkly, twirling the Ring between his fingers. "That's what the World Government wants you to believe."

Luffy, still processing what he had seen in his vision, clenched his fists. "Who was he?"

Buggy exhaled. "His name has been erased. But his story? It's hidden within the Void Century… and this." He held up the One Ring. "This is not just some relic from Middle-earth. It's proof of what happened before the Void Century even began."

The crew was silent. Then—

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Luffy threw his head back, laughing. "A whole pirate king before Roger?! That's awesome!"

Nami smacked the back of his head. "THIS ISN'T A JOKE, LUFFY!"

Luffy rubbed his head, still grinning. "No, but think about it! If there was another pirate king, and he fought against Imu, that means the fight we're in now? It started way before us."

Buggy crossed his arms. "Exactly."

Usopp gulped. "O-Okay, hold on. I just need to ask the obvious question here—how do YOU know all of this?"

Sanji exhaled a long puff of smoke. "Yeah. You're not exactly the 'wise ancient sage' type."

Buggy scowled. "OI! SHOW SOME RESPECT!" Then, he straightened his cape. "It's simple. I was on Roger's ship. And Roger knew about all of this."

Robin's expression darkened. "And yet, he said nothing to the world."

Buggy sighed. "Because he knew it wouldn't matter. The truth? It's too big. Too dangerous. And the moment it came out… the world would burn."

A silence followed.

Luffy, however, was grinning. "So what? The world's already burning. Let's throw some more fire on it!"

Buggy stared at him.

Then, slowly, he smirked.

"Heh. You really are like him."

Luffy blinked. "Like who?"

Buggy's grin widened. "The first Pirate King."

A gust of wind swept across the battlefield.

Luffy tilted his head, then crossed his arms. "Alright! If we're gonna do this, we need to know everything. Tell us what really happened!"

Buggy chuckled. "Alright, Straw Hat. But brace yourself."

He took a deep breath.

"Let me tell you the story… of the first Pirate King."
